Research paper thumbnail of Assessing the Practicality of Practical Courses in Online Education

International Journal of Advanced Research in Science, Communication and Technology, Sep 21, 2023

The delivery of education and learning experiences using the internet or other digital technologi... more The delivery of education and learning experiences using the internet or other digital technologies is referred to as online education, often known as e-learning. It enables students to access learning resources, communicate with teachers, and take part in schoolwork from anywhere with an internet connection, usually from the comfort of their own homes. During the corona pandemic, there was a huge increase in enrolment in online courses. In most fields, it was established and accepted as a replacement for traditional education, but in courses involving practical topics, laboratory work, or experimental procedures, flaws were found in the methods used to convey the lessons, the practical work, and the evaluation procedures. This paper is an attempt to understand the limitations involved in online education viz technical and practical subjects. Authors have prepared an assessment on various practical based courses in different domains of education which can be delivered and evaluated using online mode. This paper also focusses on challenges involved in delivery and assessment of subjects which authors believe are not suitable for online model.

It offers a risk-free and secure way to exchange digital currency that is impervious to manipulation by those with bad intentions. In blocks that store the data, it stores all transactional data. The best example of decentralized, systematic data collection is blockchain technology. By storing the block in many locations across a distributed network arrangement, it offers a public ledger system that combines public key encryption of all transactions to solve the double spending problem, making change impossible and therefore more secure. This article explores the usefulness and benefits of Blockchain technology compared to traditional data management by outlining its fundamental concepts and how it has been adopted in different industries. The writers also discuss the factors that led to the adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as well as the shift to a decentralized crypto ledger....

In this paper a single server finite capacity Markovian queuing model by integrating two contemporary issues of encouraged arrivals and reverse reneging prevailing in current scenario is developed. The model is then solved iteratively in steady state and various probabilistic and performance measures of the system are derived.

The precise prediction of stock price plays a very important role for investors. There are several models that are available and used for stock price prediction. These models use Artificial Intelligence, statistical modelling and mathematical modelling. In this paper, we develop a stochastic stock price prediction model specifically for the automobile industry. The input variables of this empirical model are selected on the basis of correlated movement with stock price. Multiple regression analysis, factor analysis is used for the development of model. The results of the model may prove very significant for the investors.

The model is solved in steady-state recursively. Necessary measures of performance are drawn. Economic analysis of the model is presented by developing a cost model. The model is studied numerically and simulated arbitrarily. The term encouraged arrivals emerged from situation that a system experiences after release of offers and discounts by firms. Encouraged arrivals is a new addition to existing customer behaviour in queuing theory.

However, companies in India have been hesitant and slow to adapt this technology, and this hesitation is ever so clearly seen in the human resources function of the organization. The primary purpose of this chapter is to explore the application, benefits and challenges of integration, and the limitations of AI in HRM within the Indian context. The study is relevant and beneficial to organisations that seek to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their HRM functions by leveraging the power of AI.

These, attracted customers are termed as encouraged arrivals. In this paper, we developed a multi-server Feedback Markovian queuing model with encouraged arrivals, customer impatience, and retention of impatient customers. The stationary system size probabilities are obtained recursively. Also, we presented the necessary measures of performance and gave numerical illustrations. Some particular, and special cases of the model are discussed.
