Though, it was a fact that terrestrial insects respond to TE by integrating their organismal physiology, multitrophic, and community-level interactions, and building that up to explore scenarios for population explosions and crashes that have ecosystem level consequences. TE can push insect herbivores and their natural enemies to and even beyond their adaptive limits, which may differ among species intimately involved in trophic interactions, leading to phenological disruptions and the structural reorganization of food webs. TE may ultimately lead to outbreak–breakdown cycles in insect communities with detrimental consequences for ecosystem functioning and resilience. In aquatic system temperature also influence, interactions between temperature and oxygen for performance and survival of aquatic insects as in aquatic insect’s tissue oxygen levels are far lower in aquatic than terrestrial insects.

They may directly affect insects through changes in physiology, behaviour and life history parameters, as well as indirectly through changes in their own life history experienced by host plants. Insects and plants. Plants are susceptible to environmental factors, i.e. higher levels solar radiation, rise in temperatures, greenhouse effect and changes in rainfall patterns over the seasons. Increased temperatures, CO2 and rapid changes in rainfall patterns can dramatically alter the biochemistry of plants and plant defense responses. This can have important implications in insect fertility, feeding rates, survival, population size, and dispersal. The relationships between plants and insects are thus changed with significant consequences for natural ecosystems. Similarly, mismatches between plants and insect pollinators are caused by the acceleration of plant phenology by warming

Insects have future for global food and feed industries to minimize the problem of nutritional security, human health and medicines and need immediate attention. Therefore, reprinted to highlight the contributions of AZRA, India and its associated researchers.

More than 85% of the flowering plants require an animal mostly insects to move pollen. Crop pollinating insects in general belong to Orders Diptera, Hymenoptera, Lepidoptera and Coleoptera. Among bee, honey bees, stingless bees, bumble bees, alkali bees, scolids, andrenids, xylocopids, megachilids, etc. contribute significantly to pollination of crop. However, climate change and misuse of the pesticides is an important threat for of bee, therefore, dipterous necrophagous insects should be taken into the consideration. Pollinators provide a crucial ecosystem service by improving or stabilizing yields of approximately 75% of crop-plant species globally.

Research indicated that it is govern by three main environmental factors, temperature, food availability/quality, and social context. Information about these ecological relevant contexts reaches to the brain through the sensory systems, which act as an interface between the individual and its environment. However, the timing and quantity of
sleep is controlled by two main processes, the circadian clock and the sleep homeostat. Research indicated neonicotinoids, field-relevant concentrations of imidacloprid, clothianidin and thiamethoxam disrupted learning, behavioral rhythmicity and sleep whilst thiacloprid exposure only affected sleep.

Scavengers play a key role in the process of eradication of carrion or dead animal flesh from ecosystem. As during decomposition, dead bodies go through dramatic physical, biological and chemical changes. Ability, based on benefit trade-offs, for many scavengers insects of different orders (Diptera, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Orthoptera, and Heteroptera) are recognized in the 21st century for the humanity. Though ecological value of scavengers often have a poor public reputation because of their real and perceived negative impacts on humans.Yet the stocks of natural capital from which these services flow are still shrinking due to habitat degradation and species loss. Decision-makers in policy, practice and business are needed to manage natural capital sustainably and considerable investment will be required to bring our understanding of the scavenger insects in megadiverse region to a level where the Millennium Development Goals can be reached.

They not only kill the target pests but also kill other non-target bioagents in agro-ecosystems and exposed to animals and humans and cause health hazards. In this review, pesticide hazards and human health have been discussed, including a brief of the environmental pollution by these pesticides. It should be noted that the data defining the risk of human health effects associated with pesticide exposure are often extrapolated from animal research. This is important because almost all toxicological data are based on animal or in vitro studies because of the ethical impossibility of designing studies in which people are intentionally exposed to potential poisons. It is alarming to see the exposure of pesticides to human causing a number of diseases which needs attention for healthy life of the people especially workers involved in pesticide application.

Abundant transcripts are available sharing various reasons from spiritual believe to regional cultural diversities in accepting plant products and byproducts as human medicines. Thus, huge untapped potential of utilization of animal and animal byproducts can be explored in making human medicines. Efforts have been made to understand " Role of Animal and its contribution in Human Medicine " as well as potential economical contribution. Liberalization and modernization has shown positive inclination towards animal made medicines due to effective results and healing potential to several diseases. Interestingly, India is one of the world's potential contributors of animal products, and byproducts. Future potential employment, values and opportunities for entrepreneurs, and investor has been explored. Animal seems to play a vital role as a pivot point in growing Indian economy for years to come. It is next to impossible to oversee the animal role in making Human Medicine for a healthy mankind.

Authored in this 376-page volume provides an in-depth exploration of how climate change affects insects, the planet's most biodiverse group of organisms. Book structured into four comprehensive sections, the book examines the impacts of climate change on insects, their responses and adaptations, the specific challenges they encounter, and strategies for mitigating its effects on both insects and their habitats. It offers a detailed overview of insect behavior, physiology, adaptation, migration, and their essential roles in agricultural ecosystems

One of most promising options to relieve stress on food and feed security are insects, which show potential as alternatives to animal proteins for both human consumption and feed applications. India is a potential land for insect bio-resource to be utilized for human–insect interactions as the tribal people eat ants, grasshoppers, larvae and pupae of bees, crane flies, wood boring beetle, dragon fly nymphs, queen termites, cockroaches, etc. As at present, edible insects are a natural food resource to many ethnic groups in Asia, Africa, Mexico and South America where entomophagy can be sustainable and has economic, nutritional and ecological benefits for rural communities. According to insect product analysis edible insect market size was over USD 33 million in 2015 with global industry gains expected at more than 40%compound annual growth rate (CAGR) up to 2023 (Anonymous, 2016). Therefore, we can look forward to solve our malnutrition problem and boost our economy in the rural and urban sectors inIndia by edible insect culture and their value addition.
