The goal of today's production strategy is to maximize the advantages of flexibility. Onl... more The goal of today's production strategy is to maximize the advantages of flexibility. Only when a manufacturing system is completely controlled by FMS technology is this possible. With the Process-Product Matrix in mind, it's feasible to see how an industry might achieve high flexibility via creative technological and organizational initiatives. A flexible cell is now defined as two or more CNC machines, while a flexible manufacturing system is defined as two or more cells. In computer science, system engineering, and many other areas, Petri nets are a strong modeling framework. Petri nets are a graphical description of the dynamic behavior of systems that combines a well-defined mathematical theory with a graphical representation of the dynamic behavior of systems. Because each of its aspects may be implemented in a number of ways and with varying degrees of complexity, the scatter search process is very adaptable. To handle scheduling challenges, the Petri Net idea is introduced and compared to the Scatter Search method. When the results of two case studies (9 machines X 2 jobs) are examined, it is shown that Petri Net outperforms Scatter Search in terms of machine usage.

It studies the prevention of vacuum created by the lack of proper material handling at construction sites. It is on the analysis of factors that affect the effective material management in building construction projects. Materials management is an important tool and factor in project management and control to improve productivity in construction projects. In order to execute a building project effectively, it is important to have the right materials in the right place at the right time. Many researchers have shown that construction materials and equipment can make up more than 60-70% of the total cost for a typical construction project. Improper handling and maintenance of materials on site can adversely affect project cost. Materials management practices need to be implemented on construction industry projects. A properly implemented materials management program can achieve a timely flow of materials and equipment for employment, resulting in better planning, increased labor productivity, better scheduling and lower project costs. In addition, proper maintenance of the material component improves the productivity and cost efficiency of a project and helps in completing construction projects on time and efficiently. One of the major problems of delay in construction projects is maintenance of materials and equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to study and implement material management practices in all construction industries. However, this review focuses on the various content management methods adopted on paper sites and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of content management on construction sites.

Basically, they can be categorized into two major types, i.e., structural composites with outstanding mechanical properties and functional composites with various outstanding physical, chemical or electrochemical properties. Metal matrix composites are ahead extensive approval for automobile, aerospace, agriculture farm machinery and many other industrial applications because of their essential properties such as high strength, low density, good wear resistance compared to any other metal. Metal matrix composite can be manufactured by various manufacturing techniques such as stir casting, powder metallurgy, pressure infiltration, squeeze casting, chemical vapor deposition etc. Reinforced material has an individual property which when incorporate to improve the properties of the base alloy. The reinforcements being used are whiskers, fibers, and particulates. An effort has been made to review the different combinations of the composites and how they affect the properties of the different alloys of aluminium. A comprehensive knowledge of the properties is provided in order to have an overall study of the composites and the best results can be employed for the further development of the Aluminium reinforced composed. This investigation shows that monolithic materials are highly replaced by metal matrix composites for better performance and longer life.
