The structural characterization in all possible magnetic states and band profile display Fm-3m as stable phase group with half-metallic nature. The optimized lattice parameter of 8.080 Å and band gap of 2.49 eV show fair agreement with experimental results. The magnetic properties define the Re+6 (5d1, t2g1) orbital electron responsible for showing the ferromagnetic interaction together with half-metallic nature and integral spin magnetic moment of 1.0 B.
Systematic investigation of mechanical and transport properties of Zr2CoSi within the density fun... more Systematic investigation of mechanical and transport properties of Zr2CoSi within the density functional theory have been analysed. From the elastic constants, the shear modulus, Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, we conclude the ductile nature of alloy. Thermoelectric properties show that Zr2CoSi as an n-type thermoelectric material with a higher increase in Seebeck coefficient with temperature. Further the power factor analysis confirms the heavily doping of the alloy fruitful for increase in thermoelectric performance and its use for the future thermoelectric spin generators.

(Asteraceae), Monodora myristica Dunal (Annonaceae), Albizia gummifera (J.F. Gmel) C.A. Smith (Fabaceae/Mimosoideae) and Glyphaea brevis (Spreng) Monachino (Tiliaceae), traditionally used for the treatment of hepatitis, parasites and other infectious diseases, were tested in vitro for their antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive (5 species) and Gram-negative (4 species) bacteria species and pathogenic yeasts (2 Candida species), to establish whether or not they have antimicrobial activity and to validate scientifically their use in traditional medicine. Materials and methods: The agar disc diffusion and the microbroth dilution methods were used to determine the zone of inhibition between the edge of the filter paper and the edge of the inhibition area (IZ) and the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) respectively. Results: The most active extracts against Candida albicans and Candida krusei were respectively the cyclohexane extract from the fruits of Monodora myristica and the ethyl acetate extract from the stem bark of Albizia gummifera (MIC = 6.3 g/ml for both extracts). The lowest MIC value (1.6 g/ml) for purified compounds was obtained on Candida albicans with a mixture of linear aliphatic primary alcohols (n-C24H50O to n-C30H62O), with n-hexacosanol (1b) as major compound and mixture of fatty acid esters of diunsaturated linear 1,2-diols (6). Conclusion: These results afford ground informations for the potential use of the crude extracts of these species as well as of some of the isolated compounds in bacterial and fungal infections.

We adapt a semantic parser trained on a single language, such as English, to new languages and multiple domains with minimal annotation. We query if machine translation is an adequate substitute for training data, and extend this to investigate bootstrapping using joint training with English, paraphrasing, and multilingual pre-trained models. We develop a Transformer-based parser combining paraphrases by ensembling attention over multiple encoders and present new versions of ATIS and Overnight in German and Chinese for evaluation. Experimental results indicate that MT can approximate training data in a new language for accurate parsing when augmented with paraphrasing through multiple MT engines. Considering when MT is inadequate, we also find that using our approach achieves parsing accuracy within 2% of complete translation using only 50% of training data. 1

The total magnetic moment of Co2MnAs is found to be 6.00μB, and follows Slater-Pauling rule of Zt-24. The structural study reveals ferromagnetic phase as stable phase with optimized lattice parameter 5.79 Ǻ. The elastic parameters like bulk, Young's and shear moduli, Pugh's ratio etc. have been put together to demonstrate their mechanical behavior.

Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors exploit defects in the DNA repair pathway through synthetic lethality and have emerged as promising anticancer therapies, especially in tumors harboring deleterious germline or somatic breast cancer susceptibility gene (BRCA) mutations. However, the utility of PARP inhibitors could be expanded beyond germline BRCA1/2 mutated cancers by causing DNA damage with cytotoxic agents in the presence of a DNA repair inhibitor. US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved PARP inhibitors include olaparib, rucaparib, and niraparib, while veliparib is in the late stage of clinical development. Talazoparib inhibits PARP catalytic activity, trapping PARP1/2 on damaged DNA, and it has been approved by the US FDA for the treatment of metastatic germline BRCA1/2 mutated breast cancers in October 2018. The talazoparib side effect profile more closely resembles traditional chemotherapeutics rather than other clinically approved PARP inhibitors. In this review, we discuss the scientific evidence that has emerged from both experimental and clinical studies in the development of talazoparib. Future directions will include optimizing combination therapy with chemotherapy, immunotherapies and targeted therapies, and in developing and validating biomarkers for patient selection and stratification, particularly in malignancies with 'BRCAness'.

An ideal tool for risk-stratification would detect aggressive cancers and exclude such men from taking up active surveillance in the first place. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients who underwent transperineal template biopsies from January 2016 till December 2018. All the patients had been classified as low grade prostate cancer after conventional trans-rectal ultrasound guided biopsy and enrolled in AS after discussion in hospital MDM. As per NICE guidelines all patients underwent multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). All suspicious lesions were assigned a PIRAD score; this was followed by Trans-perineal prostate biopsy. 142 patients were on active surveillance and und...
