The Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia have the highest mortality due to diarrheal diseases. Natural substances of mineral, animal, or plant origins have long been used in medicines, cosmetics, and food goods. Bixa orellana is a Brazil-native plant that also thrives in other parts of South and Central America. It is cultivated in tropical regions, including Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Indonesia, India, Kenya, and East Africa. Due to the ban on the use of synthetic dyes in food and cosmetics, its use has increased, as it is one of the few authorized dyes by the World Health Organization (WHO) because, in addition to being nontoxic, it does not appear to alter the nutritional content of food. Additionally, 70% of the world's natural coloring additives are sourced from annatto, a common name for Bixa orell...

Finally, it leads to high glucose levels in the blood. Insulin therapy is easier to maintain the desire blood sugar levels but it has multiple problems. Xenotransplantation has crossed the boundaries of transplanting organs and tissues to another species. Islet transplantation offers an attractive alternative treatment for type 1 diabetes. In this method host beta cells that have been destroyed are replaced by new beta cells in the islets. Transplanted beta cells are able to change in blood glucose levels. Pig is the most likely source of animal organs and cells for transplantation into humans. But this method has not abolished all complications. Hosts are facing mainly two problems one is refusal of the organ and cells, and another is the possibility of launching novel infections into the hosts. F...

Flowering plants have always been a great source of biologically active compounds. Although a very small portion has been investigated, it has been found that only 9 species of of flowering plants contain about 120 therapeutic lead molecules. Some of the useful plant drugs include Vinblastine, vincristine, taxol, podophyllotoxin, camptothecin, digitoxigenin, gitoxigenin, digoxigenin, tubocurarine, morphine, codeine, aspirin, atropine, pilocarpine, capscicine, allicin, curcumin, artemesinin and ephedrine are some of the important drug molecules that can be found from traditional medicinal plants. For this purpose, two important flowering species named Persicaria and Rumex from Polygonaceae family has been studied in this review paper to discover the potential therapeutical applications of...

However, the realization of such potential proves difficult due to a lack of common understanding of the phenomenon of labor migration and its causes and consequences. This study focuses on the existing literature on international labor migration, its causes and consequences with a view to identify a common line of theorizing about the issue in question.

Therefore, it urges for more attention to sustainable development as the functional strategy to ensure human security. However, in its way to ensure human security, the norm underrates national security and overlooks the role of the state in providing for human security. Consequently, the application of the norm of human security suffers from adequate support from the powerful states who are the most potential providers. To improve the efficiency of the norm of human security, it is necessary to include all states along with the non-state actors by reconciling human security with national security.

The study has been done for the phytochemical screening and analysis of analgesic potential of Moringa olifiera Lam. methanolic stem bark extract using Acetic acid induced Writhing method. Qualitative chemical analysis was carried out through phytochemical investigation which indicated the presence of carbohydrates, glycosides, saponins, flavonois, tannins, proteins, alkaloids etc. in the extracts. To study analgesic activity Acetic acid induced Writhing test was used, where Methanolic stem bark extract was introduced intraperitonially at doses of 150 mg/kg and 300 mg/kg to Swiss-albino mice. The dose of 300 mg/kg showed significant inhibition of Writhing response created by acetic acid in a dose dependent manner when compared to the standard control drug Diclofenac Sodium. Those two different do...

It has been found that both of the species have various important medicinal uses and have been used for many years in different parts of the world. Introduction The evolution of mankind has happened along with their surrounding herbs and medicinal plants from ancient period of time. Approximately 270,000 plant species have been discovered by human, while there is a possible of existence of close to 400,000 species in mother earth [1]. No synthetic substitute is currently available for about 121 major plant based drug molecules, comprising 45 from tropical and 76 from subtropical areas. Treatment of life threatening diseases like Cancer has been possible due to identification and isolation of important anticancer drug molecules from plant sources. This situation necessitates both developed and developing countries to intensify scientific research on medicinal plants and documenting data related to traditional medicines. A recent study by World Health Organization claimed 80% dependency of world population on ethnomedicines in some extent [2]. Persicaria species and Rumex species both are the members of Polygonaceae family, which have various important medicinal properties.

It is the member of a relatively new therapeutic class dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitors and is used used to treat type II diabetes mellitus. The aim of this study was to evaluate the physicochemical parameters of nine different market brands of Sitagliptin 50 mg tablet that are from different pharmaceutical companies of Bangladesh. The quality control parameters including Weight variation, Potency test, Disintegration test, and Dissolution test were performed to evaluate the quality of the tablets and to get a comparison between these marketed products. During the study among the nine local brands of Sitagliptin film coated tablet, all brand complied with the compendia specifications for weight variation test, disintegration test, dissolution test & potency test & hence, it can be concluded that the tablets of the local brands had the desired and optimum therapeutic efficacy.

The results of this study support the potential pain management therapy using this crude extract.
