This CAR intends to improve students’ writing ability. The data were collected through questionna... more This CAR intends to improve students’ writing ability. The data were collected through questionnaire, observation, and documents . Assembling the data, coding the data, comparing the data, building meanings and interpretations, and reporting the outcomes were the steps to analyze the data . The result showed that there was improvement on stdents’ writing ability, that was in cycle 1 , the mean score was 63.2 8 , and 70.9 7 in cycle 2. The questionnaire data was also showed that 47% students strongly agree d and 33% of them agree d that Collaborative Writing Technique could encourage them to write and help them to improve their writing ability.

Therefore, the purpose of this research to produce interactive learning media based on Android using Ispring suit 9 and APK 2 Builder during pandemic Covid-19 at seven grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Pagelaran in Academic year 2020/2021. The type of the research is a Research & Development, using ADDIE model. The result of this research and development is an Android learning media application that can help facilitate the delivery of materials with additional competency features, learning descriptive text, learning videos, and quizzes. that can be accessed offlline as well as the ease of installation in Android. This study is pre-experimental design. The sample was 35 students from English for Nurse 1 class of STIKes Aisyah Pringsewu. Instrument used to test the competencies is using 126 words from the minimal pairs poem entitled “English is Tough Stuff”. It had progress based on the data that the χ of correct words in pretest, 40.35, it is increasing in post-test, χ 116. The Participant in this research were the students of third semester of English Education Department of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu lampung who took Reading 2. There were 38 students who involved in this research. Since this research used qualitative research design that involved case study, the researcher only took 5 students as the representative of group created by researcher in order to get rich and deep information. The data collecting technique used in this research were think-aloud protocol, reflective journal that uploaded through wordpress and interview guide for reading strategies. In analyzing the data, the researcher carried out some activities, namely describing, classifying, and connecting. Secara umum tes ini untuk menilai kemampuan menulis dan tata bahasa yang baik dalam bahasa Inggris agar mampu membuat tulisan ilmiah. TOEFL sangatlah dibutuhkan oleh semua kalangan tidak hanya oleh mahasiswa. Berdasarkan studi awal dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dan umum sebagai sampel didapatkan bahwa 98% menyatakan bahwa mereka membutuhkan sebuah pelatihan TOEFL karena mengingat pentingnya TOEFL dalam dunia pendidikan dan dunia kerja. The aim of this study is to improve students' confidence in speaking (Speaking) through Simul... more The aim of this study is to improve students' confidence in speaking (Speaking) through Simulation methods for grade 9.1 students at SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu. This study is a collaborative action research (CAR) with two cycles. Researchers used questionnaires and observations which were then triangulated. The data analysis technique uses a comparative descriptive analysis. After being given treatment in cycle I and II there were 31 (86%) students who had high self-confidence, 3 (8.4%) students of the total number of students who had low self-confidence, and 2 (5.6%) students of the total who still had low self-confidence.

The research was conducted at the sixth semester of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu which the participant were the students who studied Entrepreneurship. There were 50 students who were involved in this research. But, in this research, the researcher only took 5 students as the representative of the students since the design of this research was qualitative research design. The data collecting techniques used in this research were thinkaloud protocol, interview and observation. In analyzing the data, the researcher did some activities such as; describing, classifying and connecting. The finding of the research showed that the students have positive perception on entrepreneurship and the students also think that entrepreneurship is important seen from the usage perception.

To determine factors that cause employees of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu have good commitment is... more To determine factors that cause employees of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu have good commitment is very important, as its influence to the development of this campus. There are many factors that influence work commitment, yet in this study, the researchers focused on interpersonal communication, work motivation, and the employee's characters. The research questions formulated in this study are: What factors influence the work commitment of the employee of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu? Among those factors, which factor has more influence on the employees work commitment? And how the dominant factor influences the employees work? A descriptive qualitative research used in this study. The interest population in this study was all the employees of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung across various units and divisions since this was the employees under study. This study population comprised a total of 66 from all of the units or division, namely consist of 26 staffs and 40 the lecturers as staff. The sampling technique used in this study was stratified random sampling with 40 samples. The data collection instrument used was the questionnaire developed by the researchers, especially for this study. The research finding shows that interpersonal communication, work motivation, and the employees' character influence the work commitment of the employees of STKIP MPL. From those factors, work motivation gives more influence; meanwhile character is the dominant factors on the employees' work commitment.

The research used qualitative approach which involved the case study method. The participants involved in this research were the 11 th Class MIA3 students at SMAN 2 Pringsewu, Lampung. In collecting the data the teacher used think-aloud protocol, observation and questionnaire. The result of this study show that in applying CALLA instructional reading strategy, the students used the entire of three primary of reading strategies suggested in CALLA such as; meta-cognitive strategy, cognitive strategy and social - affective strategy in reading analytical exposition text.
