The Principal's Leadership and Its Influence on Students' Character This study aims to analyze th... more The Principal's Leadership and Its Influence on Students' Character This study aims to analyze the principal's leadership and its influence on students' character in Public Senior High School 1 Bone. This research is a quantitative research using ex post facto method. The scientific approach used is a sociological and psychological approach. The research population was 716 students with the technique of selecting a sample using probability sampling which was determined to be 50% of the population so that a sample of 180 students was obtained. The instrument used to measure each variable is a questionnaire. The data obtained were then analyzed through simple linear regression analysis and then analyzed the principal's leadership on the character of students through a determination test. The results of the study prove that the principal's leadership has a positive and significant effect on the character of students by 9.1% at Public Senior High School 1 Bone with the resulting regression equation Y = 59.370 + 0.416X. The results of this study are that the formation of the character of students cannot be separated from the contribution of the principal's leadership that is applied.

Prestasi belajar merupakan indikator kualitas dan kuantitas pengetahuan yang telah diketahui siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi berprestasi dan kebiasaan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP DDI Al-Irsyad Rampegading Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Ex-Post Facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP DDI Al-Irsyad Rampegading Makassar yang berjumlah 100 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data digunakan ada dua, yaitu angket (kuesioner) untuk melihat tingkat motivasi berprestasi dan kebiasaan belajar siswa dan dokumentasi untuk melihat prestasi belajar matematika. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk motivasi berprestasi berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 72,74, untuk kebiasaan belajar berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 75,08, dan untuk prestasi belajar matematika siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 82,08. Adapun hasil analisis statistik inferensial diperoleh bahwa motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Kebiasaan belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika serta motivasi berprestasi dan kebiasaan belajar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan sehingga dengan kebiasaan belajar dan motivasi berprestasi membantu siswa untuk memperoleh hasil belajar yang baik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dan untuk mengeta... more Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika dan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat anak jalanan dalam menyelesaikan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi operasi bilangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan memilih beberapa informan yang merupakan anak-anak jalanan dari kelas Binaan Adiyaksa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep kepada informan, dan wawancara. Data dianalisis dengan cara direduksi, lalu disajikan kemudian penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan hasil tes dari 5 responden anak jalanan diperoleh bahwa responden kode 01 dan 05 memperoleh nilai 100. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua anak jalanan tersebut telah memahami materi operasi bilangan dengan baik. Akan tetapi, ketiga responden yang lain yaitu responden kode 02 dan 03 masing-masing dengan skor tes 60 dan responden kode 04 memperoleh hasil tes 80. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan ketiga responden tersebut, diperoleh bahwa mereka kesulitan dalam melakukan operasi bilangan pada angka-angka yang besar. Adapun faktor penghambat kemampuan pemahaman konsep materi operasi bilangan pada anak jalanan di kelas Binaan Adiyaksa Kota Makassar yaitu 1) Tidak tersedianya media pembelajaran berupa alat bantu hitung, 2) Kesibukan anak jalanan yaitu membantu orang tua mereka dalam mencari nafkah, dan 3) Kurangnya jadwal mata pelajaran matematika.

This study was aimed to test the model of self-efficacy, job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. This study also tested the role of job satisfaction in mediating the relationship between self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior. The respondents were 208 teachers in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The scales used were the Teacher Self-Efficacy Scale, the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ), and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale. Results of the model showed a good fit model with χ²=127.94, p<0.001, CFI=0.95, GFI=0.93, TLI=0.93, and RMSEA=0.05. Findings showed positive and significant relationships among the variables: between self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior, β=0.32, p<0.001; between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior, β =0.57, p<0.001; and between self-efficacy and job satisfaction, β =0.45, p<0.001. In addition, job satisfaction significantly mediated the relationship between self-efficacy and organizational citizenship behavior.

In general, there are two patterns of inheritance distribution in Indonesia, based on Islamic and... more In general, there are two patterns of inheritance distribution in Indonesia, based on Islamic and customary inheritance laws. This research specifically focused on the distribution of inheritance for men and women in Mandar by scoping the research area in Polewali Mandar Regency, West Sulawesi Province. This research is an empirical legal study using the sociology of law approach. Data collection techniques were obtained through literature study and interviews. The results showed that the Mandar people who lived in Polewali Mandar, West Sulawesi Province, considered that whether son or daughter earned the same sharing, there was no difference. The view that puts the same position between the two has influenced the legal treatment of inheritance. The distribution of inheritance in Mandar, especially for sons and daughters, was found in two patterns, namely, using Islamic inheritance patterns and customary inheritance patterns. This customary inheritance pattern is practiced in the form that they are no longer able to define, whether it is in the form of Islamic law or customary law, dividing the inheritance to their children to be managed by themselves, and some have shared the inheritance with their children, but the heir still manages the assets, and the house of the parents belongs to the youngest child, without distinguishing between the youngest son or the youngest daughter.

This study aims to: (1) Describe the level of memory ability of biological Latin names of human m... more This study aims to: (1) Describe the level of memory ability of biological Latin names of human motion system material in students who listened to murattal audio, (2) Determine the level of memory ability of biological Latin names of human motion system material of students who did not listen to murattal audio, (3). Analyze the influence of murattal audio on the memory of biological Latin names in the human motion system material. This research was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. This study involved 58 of 70 students consisting of 29 students in a control class and 29 students in an experimental class. They were selected by the purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a learning outcome test. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis which were preceded by prerequisite tests and then carried out by an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the memory ability of biological Latin names in the experimental class is higher than in the control class. Furthermore, the experimental class is in the high category, while the control class is in the medium category. Thus, it proves that the murattal audio of Al-Qur'an can improve students' memory of biological Latin names. Research implications are also presented in this study.

The scope was limited to three problems, they were: 1) Self-concept of students of Ternate State Islamic Institute. 2) The deviant behaviour of students of the Ternate State Islamic Institute. 3) The significance level of self-concept influence on student's deviant behaviour at the Ternate State Islamic Institute. This type of research was field research with a survey approach and psychological sampling technique by using a sampling quota of 77 people. The research instruments were questionnaire and documentation. The analysis techniques were descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results showed that: 1) the students' self-concept of Ternate State Islamic Institute was in the medium category, it was 57%. 2) The students' deviant behaviour of Ternate State Islamic Institute was in a low category, it was 8%. Self-concept has a significant effect on deviant behaviour among students of Ternate State Islamic Institute which was14.5%.

This type of research is quantitative. A total of 67 employees participated in the study. The data were collected using Empowerment scale and Employees Performance Scale, followed by interviews. Then, the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. This research examined by simple linear regression. The result of inferential statistical analysis by simple linear regression showed that: there is a positive and significant impact empowerment to employee empowerment. The confidence of determination implies that empowerment describes 26% of the variability of employee performance variable.

One of factors that influences the emergence of OCB is job satisfaction. Several studies have shown that age and gender affect the individual's ability to realize the OCB in the workplace. This study aimed to determine the differences in organizational citizenship behavior based on gender, organizational citizenship behavior differences based on age, and the effect of job satisfaction on teachers' organizational citizenship behavior. This study use quantitative study withan instrument of job satisfaction scale (Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior scale. The samples in this study are 32 teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Madani Alauddin Paopao Gowa in South Sulawesi.Data were analyzed using inferential statistical techniques: t-test analysis,one way ANOVA, and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there were no differences in organizational citizenship behavior based ongender, then there are no differences in organizational citizenship behavior based on age, and there is the effect of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior.

Learning in the classroom cannot be separated from the application of the learning model, therefo... more Learning in the classroom cannot be separated from the application of the learning model, therefore the choice of a learning model is very important because it is related to the success of the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this research is to compare the mathematics learning outcomes of students using the Teams Geams Tournament (TGT) learning model with students using the cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). This research is a quantitative nonequivalent control group design. The sample selection technique used was purposive sampling with the research instrument in the form of tests what were analyzed by inferential statistics and descriptive statistics. From the research result, it was found that there was no significant difference between student learning outcomes with the TGT and STAD learning models.
