The following questions propel the paper: What are the ethics of dialogue on stolen lands? Can authentic dialogue take place when the curriculum begins with a lie of omission? What does forgetting do to learning which is inherently grounded in memory and remembering? The paper ends by inviting dialogue on what might constitute ethical teaching while standing on stolen lands.
