Background of Study: Adolescence period for a girl is a time of physical and mental preparation f... more Background of Study: Adolescence period for a girl is a time of physical and mental preparation for a safe mother. Dysmenorrhea is a painful menstrual cycle. It is characterized as painful pelvic pain that begins shortly before or early in the menstruation and lasts 1 to 3 days. Anxiety and fatigue were ongoing problems for girls with dysmenorrhea. There are a variety of options for treating dysmenorrhea that include a medical and non-medical approach. Ginger is a drug that is found to have a relaxation effect on muscle disorders which is why it can play a positive role in dysmenorrhea. Materials and Methods: The present study aims to assess the effect of Ginger Candy on dysmenorrhea among adolescent girls at College of Nursing, Parul University, Vadodara. Janani Suraksha Yojana under the overall umbrella of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) integra... more Janani Suraksha Yojana under the overall umbrella of National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) integrates cash assistance with antenatal care during the pregnancy period, institutional care during delivery and immediate postpartum period in a health centre by establishing systems of coordinated care by the field level health workers. Based on some of the estimates it has been calculated that there are 5 lakh maternal morbidities that occur every year worldwide. In India it is estimated that 34.6 per 1,000 live birth. In view of these, the knowledge and attitude of mothers were assessed, as it provides cash assistance to the weaker sections of the society to bring down the maternal morbidity at rural area of Mangalore.

Almost 15% of all the pregnant women can develop potentially life-threatening complications which might require skilled care with some requiring major intervention for survival. Complications can occur anytime during the course of the pregnancy and childbirth, which in turn can affect the health and the overall survival of mother and the fetus. Hence there is a need to identify those high risk pregnancy groups for whom a greater degree of care is required. This study aimed to identify the risk status among antenatal mothers thus enhancing the mother to have a clear understanding about health. The study investigated the level of HbA1C for T-2 diabetic patients attending OPD in selected Hos... more The study investigated the level of HbA1C for T-2 diabetic patients attending OPD in selected Hospital,Faridkot,Punjab.A quantitative research approach and Quasi experimental Time series design was used in this study.The main objectives of this study were to assess the level of HbA1C for T-2 diabetic patients and assess the effectiveness of yoga therapy.A total number of 60 patients,attended diabetic OPD and who fulfilled the inclusion criteria and willing to participate were selected. After getting consent from the patients, the blood samples were collected from the patients and sent in to diagnostic lab.The data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings shows that there is a significant mean difference between the Pretest and Posttest level of HbA1C among Type-2 diabetic patients.Also findings shows that the yoga therapy is effective for reducing HbA1C among T-2 diabetic patients.
