In the current scenario, text-based authentication through one-time password is not reliable and also not capable of securing user's transactional details as it can easily be hacked by the hackers through remote surfing of hand-held devices, hidden cameras, credit and debit card cloning, etc. In the present work, keystroke dynamics is applied for minimizing the credit card fraud during online transactions by the users. The identity verification verifies using rule-based expert system, and user's behaviors are also calculated using keystroke dynamics when the user is typing transaction pin. The user's behavior such as typing pattern, time, and speed of a particular user can be recorded using the keyboard without the knowledge of the user and the service provider need not install any hardware devices; therefore, the proposed system is very cost effective, and it improves the security aspect for the online transaction. The proposed experimental model proves that it provides higher security and minimizing the credit card frauds while performing online transactions.

In the database, irregularities occur due to duplication of data at many places, therefore, it needs reconstruction of database size. The present work deals with reducing of impurity through a well-known Gini index technique. Since many of software’s are using the object-oriented databases, therefore, an object-oriented database is considered, A real object-oriented database for Electricity Bill Deposit System is considered. A sample size of 15 records is considered, however the present technique can be applied for large size or even for the complex database. A decision tree is constructed and sample queries are performed for verifying the result and Gini index is computed for minimizing the impurity in the presented object-oriented database. Â

Many researchers have applied the modeling concepts for the distributed computing system. The most popular approach is the object-oriented modeling also known as Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach which is a platform independent to any programming language. In the present work, Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used for the various aspects used in the distributed computing system. This paper consists of the modeling of newly developed step topology and compared with the bus topology under distributed computing system. UML activity diagrams are designed for these topologies and the diameters of bus and step topology are also computed by varying the nodes through hope count and represented in the form of table and graph.

Test case prioritization is essential for reducing the cost of regression testing. In this paper a test cases prioritization model based on fuzzy logic is presented. State machine diagram is used to capture the behaviour of the system. Risk information is associated with the states. After change in the functionality of the system new state machine diagram is designed. This new state machine diagram is converted into Weighted Extended Finite State Machine (WEFSM). Weights are assigned to nodes and edges based on change and risk exposure. Risk exposure and change information of each test case is used as input to fuzzy model. Test cases are categorized in retestable, reusable and obsolete.

The results for a quarter of a circular plate with uniform thickness have been obtained as a special case and comparison has been made with results already available. By taking various combinations of clamped, simply-supported and completely-free edges we get twenty-seven different cases. Tables are given for the first three frequencies for different values of parameters. Mode shapes have also been plotted in some cases. The convergence of results is indicated by working out approximations of various orders.

Topological design for static interconnection of computer systems under distributed environment plays a very vital role to achieve the desired accuracy in a low cost. For the topological design, the concept of graph theory is used by the various researchers from time to time. The present work is an attempt to propose a new octagonal topological design for static interconnection of computer systems under distributed environment. All interconnected nodes are placed at equidistant and Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach is used to model the proposed network topology. UML class and sequence diagrams are designed for effective execution of incoming process inside a Process Execution Controller (PEC).

Results are given for a clamped as well as simply supported boundary for various values of the parameter controlling the thickness variation. Convergence is ensured by working out a sufficient number of approximations. Comparison has been made with existing results for uniform thickness and linearly varying thickness.

The various tools represent the static as well as the dynamic behavior of an object-oriented software system. The state chart diagram is a well known tool of UML which shows the dynamic behavior of states of an object-oriented system. The entire life of an object is represented by this tool. The state transformation of an object is depending on the three major components like transition function, action and possible inputs. The paths through which an object changes its state are determined by the state chart diagrams. These paths can be represented in the graphical form with the use of Finite State Machine (FSM). The graphical representation is very useful for determining the correctness of the diagram. In the present work, an approach to validate the UML class model through FSM is described with a creation of the transition table. For testing purpose, some test cases are generated to test the correctness of UML state chart diagram by taking a real case study of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India. An approach to verify the correctness of UML diagram is presented.
