The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has caused many deaths. The number of deaths that occur randoml... more The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has caused many deaths. The number of deaths that occur randomly per day has caused various problems, including reduced population, increased land for graves, and increased fear of the situation that has arisen which indirectly impacts decreased performance which ultimately weakens a country's economy. However, it is the concern of governments and others' responsibilities to provide the correct statistics and figures to take any practicable necessary steps. Where the statistical literature supposes that a model governs every real phenomenon, once we know the model, we can evaluate the dilemma. Therefore, in this article, we compare and analyze the frequency of a number of death from COVID-19 in Indonesia using the six probability modeling. Probability modeling will be carried out using six distributions, namely Weibull, Gamma, Log Normal, Amarendra, Rani and Akash will be used in this study. The maximum likelihood method will be used to get the estimated parameter from the models used in this study. The distribution will be selected based on some methods of Good of Fit Test namely graphical (pdf plot and cumulative distribution function (CDF) plot) and numerical (Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC), and Log Likelihood (Log-L)). In most cases, graphical methods give the same results but their AIC and BIC results are different. The most suitable result is selected as the distribution with the lowest AIC and BIC values. In general, the Weibull distribution has been chosen as the best model.

Evaluation of the K-13 curriculum (2013 Curriculum) on the value of the national mathematics exam... more Evaluation of the K-13 curriculum (2013 Curriculum) on the value of the national mathematics examination "Nilai Ebtanas Murni" (NEM) in every State Junior High School needs to be carried out thoroughly in order to improve the quality of education. This study uses spatial analysis to evaluate the curriculum and determine the development of NEM scores in the school year. Furthermore, the kriging interpolation method via surfer software was used to generate scores. The results showed that the 2015 K-13 mathematics curriculum did not give good results based on the 36-68 NEM score interval for the entire Pekanbaru area. In addition, the curriculum only gives good results for a small area in the north and south. In 2016, the curriculum which was accompanied by the entry of the new education unit level curriculum "Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan" (KTSP) showed a significant change in the NEM value. Although most of these areas experienced an increase in scores, the intervals still ranged from 36-68. The total revision of the K-13 curriculum carried out and used in 2017 showed a significant increase in scores for all regions with an interval of 68-84 scores. In conclusion, this study shows that the revision of the K-13 curriculum is the right step to produce quality mathematics learning.

The Natuna Regency has a great potential for blue economy development in the form of capture fish... more The Natuna Regency has a great potential for blue economy development in the form of capture fisheries. Currently, only a small part of the potential is actualized and contributes to the regional economy. This study aims to study the spatial aspects of capture fisheries production in the Natuna Regency. Two indices, namely the Moran's I and LISA indices were used to examine the presence of autocorrelation in 15 districts in the Natuna Regency in terms of capture fisheries production. Results showed that there was no spatial autocorrelation on a global scale (Moran's I), while on a local scale (LISA), it is indicated that there were clusters in several districts. It was also found that Bunguran Barat District has great potential for capture fisheries. The result of this study is expected to contribute to the development of the Natuna capture fisheries thus increasing its contribution to economic development.

This study focus to reveal the capabilities the students of Madrasah and Sekolah Islam in underst... more This study focus to reveal the capabilities the students of Madrasah and Sekolah Islam in understanding mathematics subjects throughout the Pekanbaru area using spatial analysis. The national examination mathematic will be mapped to all regions in Pekanbaru. The same mapping for public schools will also be produced, so that a comparison of the national examination mathematict (NEM) for the three types of schools can reveal more clearly the ability of Islamic school students to understand mathematics. Study results also indicated that students of Madrasah has the highest a NEM on the small ares in north and isolated areas on the south Pekanbaru region. While students of Sekolah Islam have the higest NEM on few ares in west Pekanbaru region. However students of the Public schools have the best abilty in understanding mathematics subjects, especially in a few area on the south Pekanbaru region.

Makalah ini membahas tentang dua distribusi yaitu Weibull dan Rayleigh dalam menentukan model distribusi yang sesuai untuk data kecepatan angin di Pekanbaru. Estimasi parameter yang digunakan adalah metode maksimum likelihood dan menggunakan uji kebaikan ( Goodness of Fit ) AIC ( Akaike’s Information Criterion ) . This study explores the correlation between achievement goals and positive emotion, engagement, r... more This study explores the correlation between achievement goals and positive emotion, engagement, relationship, meaning and accomplishment (PERMA) which might affect life satisfaction for Indonesian students in English education programs. The present study employed 260 of Indonesian students in English education programs, selected by using cluster random sampling. The students were enrolled in undergraduate 223 (85.8%) and postgraduate 37 (14.2%). The study follows a correlational research design to measure the degree of relationship between achievement goals, PERMA and life satisfaction. We employed confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with AMOS 18 to analyze the data. Results indicate that achievement goals and PERMA influence positively life satisfaction. Moreover, PERMA is positive full mediators meaning that students who adopt achievement goals with high PERMA would probably have good life satisfaction. In conclusion, PERMA and achievement goals have an positive effect on students' life satisfaction.

In this study, we integrates Augmented Reality (AR) elements into a children’s learning book, named AR SHALAT 4D Educational Book. It has been designed in ‘Markerless-based AR’ using mobile devices. The study was tested on an audience of randomly selected children aged 5-6 years and give the conclusion that, AR prayer is a suitable app for solving problems for prayer. Furthermore, this app can be used as one of the forms of mobile learning to the Muslim community regardless of age and background limits.

Axiom obtained from the generalization is following properties p(x,x)≤p(x,y) for every x,y∈S. The results of this paper are few studies in the form of definitions and theorems concerning continuity function on partial metric space.
