Our phones, laptops, routers, satellites, antennas almost everything around us emits radio waves. With increasing pollution, it is necessary to use a greener way to harvest, conserve and use energy. The readily available RF (Radio Frequency) waves are the best way to do it. Though the output voltage is not enormous but it can still be amplified and used for several applications for daily use. It might also be helpful when the renewable sources are unavailable. This paper focuses on RF energy harvesting system using monopole antenna that can be applied to various wireless sensor network applications (WSNA). These include different monitoring, sensing and detection systems. Different types of monopole antennas are designed, manufactured, tested and were studied.

Digital negative which is one of the spatial domain image enhancement techniques, enhances white or gray detail on dark regions, especially, when black areas are dominant in size.. Considering this, a method of image fusion is proposed, specifically for multi-focus images. Each of these images are fused with digital negative of each other for getting augmentation in white or gray detail on dark regions.Act of this method is evaluated with the help of fusion appraisal parameters like RMSE, PSNR, Mean Intensity value Mutual Information etc.

Humans have been using speech to communicate with each other since the ancient times. But for the speech-and hearing-impaired people, it becomes a real challenge to put up their views due to their disability. This project aims at developing a microcontroller-based vocalizer that converts hand gestures to audible sound. The system is easy to calibrate according to the user's need, thus removing the complications of different hand sign conventions used around the globe. This system is further developed to work as a home automation system that uses hand gestures to control various appliances like fan or light.

The objective of this paper is to throw light on energy-harvesting systems using radio frequency. The required RF energy is usually transmitted from various sources such as mobile towers, base stations, TV/Radio broadcasting stations, and Wi-Fi routers. The applicability of harvesting RF energy from the environment is to drive low-power devices without using any batteries. The systems operating on batteries eventually run out of them which then need charging. In any of the cases cited above, the devices can be operated sans the usage of connectors, battery panels, and cables, rendering these devices portable while in operation. This paper also focuses on parameters to design the system model, different frequency ranges that can be utilized, and the circuitry required for translating low voltage output obtained to a high voltage output for numerous applications.

The concept of predicting these has been around for as long as they have existed. Improvements are made to reduce the error using newer techniques or better processes. In this research paper, we are trying to predict the occurrence of storms from the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans on American land. The data is used to train various machine learning models and comparison is drawn between them to conclude the best for our application. The results are then shown on a map to get a visual representation using the folium library. The entire project is also deployed using Microsoft Machine Learning Azure to help with deployment over the web service. This paper hopes to present a system that accurately predicts and efficiently presents everything regarding the real-time occurrence of hurricanes and typhoons.

RDH provides the facility of retrieving the embedded data as well as the cover medium used for hiding data without any degradation. The algorithm makes use of canny edge detection to exploit correlation between the three channels in color image. This will add the advantage of increasing accuracy of prediction errorin one channel .Histogram modification is the method to extract and embed the data in image. For this, image is divided into two blocks and histograms of these blocks are modified. For finding overflow and underflow pixels during embedding, it uses a location map. The algorithm can embed and extract the data even though the color image has subjected for different noises like Gaussian noise, salt and p...

EMG speech recognition holds promise for mitigating the effects of high acoustic noise on speech intelligibility in communication systems. Few words have been collected from EMG from a male subject, speaking normally and sub vocally. The collected signals are then required to be filtered and transformed into features using Wavelet Packet and statistical windowing techniques. Finally, the concept of neural network with back propagation method has been used for classification of data.Using windowed signals and the trained neural network an arduino operated bot was controlled as an application to demonstrate the future scope of the paper. The success rate was 73%.
