The purpose of the study was to test the effect of academic supervision and work life balance on ... more The purpose of the study was to test the effect of academic supervision and work life balance on teacher performance during Covid-19. This type of research is quantitative with an explanatory research approach. There were 92 teachers of SMK 8 Padang who were selected as samples in the study based on saturated sampling techniques. The data was collected using questionnaires with a 5-point likert measurement scale. Findings in this study with regression analysis multiple linear showing the results of the analysis that: there is an influence of academic supervision on teacher performance during Covid-19 H1 received; there is a work life balance effect to the performance of teachers during Covid-19 H2 received; and there is an influence of academic supervision and work life balance simultaneously on teacher performance during Covid-19 H3 received.

The current condition of the world, with the outbreak of the COVID-19 corona virus, has a serious... more The current condition of the world, with the outbreak of the COVID-19 corona virus, has a serious impact on the lives of all people, both economically and socially. Women who initially had jobs, but with the outbreak of the pandemic since the end of 2019, this has caused them to lose their income due to termination of work by the employer. This condition is used mainly for women who have lost their jobs amid the urgency to make ends meet, with the condition of switching only to taking care of children in online learning activities at home. In this case, self-reliance is needed for a woman in dealing with this problem. Independent in the sense of the word not drifting into adversity due to a pandemic that is not clear in the end, able to stand alone, empowering all abilities possessed in meeting all life needs.

All of this can be the positive or negative impact for generation, especially for children. Progress in technology never beneficial for people often abused, of course we do not want to technological advance in the digital era that affect social intelligence for child. Parents as the first and the foremost of educator in families have to give educate, teach, and infuse social values in communities with the approach of persuasive in the communication which are asking all without compulsion to children, so the children easily receive and sensitive with the social environment.

Research methods using R development model D with & ADDIE. The population of the research was the parents in Kindergarten of Aisyiyah at Padang city. Sampling techniques using cluster random sampling that is the center of the city, the suburbs and the city centre and suburbs. The instruments used are a test of the validity of using with cheklist construct and content validity. The results showed that generally how committed parents in educating children character is by way of conditioning, then followed by the rules. While other ways such as giving advice, and less is done by the parents. It is very possible because more parents emulating what has been done to his parents during this time.
