Preživaci proizvode ureju u slini, min. 500 g/dan, a u buragu se iz ureje oslobađa amonijak za si... more Preživaci proizvode ureju u slini, min. 500 g/dan, a u buragu se iz ureje oslobađa amonijak za sintezu bjelancevina. Otkako je otkriveno da mikroorganizmi buraga mogu koristiti neproteinski dusik (NPN), NPN spojevi se koriste u hranidbi preživaca kako bi zamijenili dio biljnih bjelancevina. Cilj ovoga rada bio je utvrditi zajednicki ucinak NPN spoja s polaganim otpustanjem (Optigen) i Benural S koji je u pokusnoj skupini dijelom smanjen. Praceni su sljedeci pokazatelji: tjelesna masa, dnevni prirast, konverzija hrane te cijena utrosene hrane za kg prirasta kod tovne junadi. Pokus je proveden na 55 junadi križanih pasmina u tipu simentalca. Provedena su cetiri pojedinacna vaganja, a pokus je trajao 3 mjeseca, odnosno 92 dana. U obroku kontrolne skupine bio je ukljucen Benural S u kolicini od 0, 12 kg, dok je u pokusnoj skupini udio Benurala S iznosio 0, 08 kg, a udio Optigena 0, 04 kg. The aim of this paper was to investigate the influence of housing systems on stillbirth and morta... more The aim of this paper was to investigate the influence of housing systems on stillbirth and mortality rate in preweaning pigs farrowed by different gilt breeds. The investigation included first farrowings of 225 Large White (LW) gilts, 297 Swedish Landrace (SL) gilts and 260 crossbreed gilts (LWxSL) in the period of five years. Despite of positive influence of straw through decreased number of stillborn pigs, especially in LW gilts, in further process of production until weaning, less appropriate microclimatic conditions developed in farrowing houses with straw, especially if accompanied with poor ventilation, can result with higher number of perished pigs and lower number of weaned pigs. Most sensible to unsuitable microclimatic conditions in straw bedded farrowing houses, according to the number of perished pigs before weaning, were the pigs from SL gilts, while the pigs from crossbreed gilts LWxSL were the most resistant. These results suggest that adding straw requires special attention on influence of such production on microclimate conditions in pigs' biozone in order to maintain its initial benefits in the time of farrowing through the whole preweaning period, especially in pure breeds of gilts.
Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi utjecaj primjene razlicitih razina silirane kukuruzne prekrupe ... more Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi utjecaj primjene razlicitih razina silirane kukuruzne prekrupe na proizvodna svojstva ženskih tovnih pilica Cobb 500 TM, utrosak hrane te troskove same proizvodnje. Pokus je obuhvatio 150 jednodnevnih ženskih tovnih pilica Cobb 500 TM, podijeljenih u tri skupine od 50 pilica, jedna kontrolna skupina i dvije pokusne skupine. U prva tri tjedna sve skupine su jednako hranjene s potpunom smjesom starter. Nakon tri tjedna starosti i prelaska na finiser smjesu, kontrolna skupina (C) hranjena je krmnom smjesom, koja je bila kombinacija punomasne soje i zrna kukuruza. Pokusna skupina (P1) hranjena je krmnom smjesom, mjesavinom zrna kukuruza, silirane kukuruzne prekrupe i punomasne soje, a pokusna skupina 2 (P2) krmnom smjesom, kombinacijom punomasne soje i silirane kukuruzne prekrupe. Lambs consumed various feed mixtures (1000 g day−1 lamb−1): I—control group; II—group with 10% dehulled spelt; III—group with 20% dehulled spelt. In the blood, the concentrations of minerals (calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and iron), biochemical parameters (urea, glucose, total proteins, albumin, globulin, cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein, ß-hydroxybutyrate, non-esterified fatty acids, glutathione peroxidase, and superoxide dismutase), and hepatic enzymes (alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, gamma-glutamyltransferase, and creatine kinase) were determined. Cilj ovoga istraživanja bio je utvrditi mogucnost zamjene soje, kao najcesceg izvora bjelancevina... more Cilj ovoga istraživanja bio je utvrditi mogucnost zamjene soje, kao najcesceg izvora bjelancevina u obrocima janjadi, pogacom sjemenki bundeve, nusproizvoda u proizvodnji ulja te utvrditi njihov utjecaj na proizvodno hematoloske pokazatelje janjadi. Istraživanje je provedeno na 20 Merinolandschaf janjadi u dobi od 70 dana. Janjad je ravnomjerno podijeljena prema spolu u dvije skupine: kontrolna hranjene smjesom sa sojom kao izvorom bjelancevina u krmnoj smjesi i pokusna u kojoj je soja zamijenjena sa 7 % pogace sjemenki bundeve. Sijeno i vodu janjad su imala na raspolaganju ad libitum. Tjelesne mase, tjelesne mjere i uzorci krvi janjadi uzeti su 0., 15., i 30. dana istraživanja. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of hempseed cake on production traits, metabo... more The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of hempseed cake on production traits, metabolic profile and antioxidant status of lambs. The research was conducted on 20 Merinolandschaf lambs of similar live body weight (24.03 kg ± 2.22 and 24.06 ± 1.84 kg in control and experimental group, respectively). The experiment started after the weaning of lambs at their average age of 70 days. Lambs were divided by gender (50% male: 50% female) and then allocated in two groups. The research lasted for 30 days during the fattening period. Lambs in the control group were fed with feed mixtures, where main protein source was soybean meal and extruded soybean (SB), while lambs in the experimental group were fed feed mixtures in which soybean was replaced by hempseed cake (HSC) at 12% of dry matter. Istraživanje je provedeno na 48 crnih slavonskih svinja. Od ukupno istraživanih 48 crnih slavonsk... more Istraživanje je provedeno na 48 crnih slavonskih svinja. Od ukupno istraživanih 48 crnih slavonskih svinja, 16 su tovljene do oko 100 kg zavrsne tjelesne mase (skupina A), 16 do oko 120 kg zavrsne tjelesne mase (skupina B) i 16 do oko 130 kg zavrsne tjelesne mase (skupina C). Za vrijeme tova svinje su hranjene krmnim smjesama, dobivenim mijesanjem žitarica (kukuruz i jecam) sa superkoncentratom „35“. Svinje iz svih skupina (A, B, C) hranjene su tijekom prvog razdoblja tova krmnom smjesom s 14% sirovih proteina, a tijekom drugog razdoblja tova krmnom smjesom s 12% sirovih proteina. Nakon klanja svinjske polovice ohlađene su na +4°C, te je odvojeno meso buta, leđnog dijela i plecke (but i leđni dio 76, 96% : plecka 19, 24), za preradu u kulen. This paper aims to investigate feeding season effect (winter and summer) on reproductive and prod... more This paper aims to investigate feeding season effect (winter and summer) on reproductive and productive traits of the ewes and suckling lambs. Biological investigations were conducted on 60 Merinolandschaf breed ewes aged 4 years on the average and their lambs (123) in the suckling-ablactation period. In the winter feeding season ewes were fed grain mixture (300 g daily) containing 60% oats, 30% maize and 10% soybean meal as well as hay (ad libitum). The lambs were suckling and they received forage mixture, quality hay and fresh water ad libitum. During the summer feeding season ewes grazed on the pastures. The lambs were suckling and received forage mixture, quality hay ad libitum and pasture green mass in smaller portions. While comparing winter to summer feeding season the ewes had longer gravidity period (150.76 and 150.40 days), more lambs at parturition (1.21 and 1.11) and ablactation (1.10 and 1.07), more twins (12 and 8), higher body weight during gravidity (65.52 kg and 61....
Cilj provedenog istraživanja bio je provjeriti utjecaj razlicitih koncentracija DDGS-a u krmnoj s... more Cilj provedenog istraživanja bio je provjeriti utjecaj razlicitih koncentracija DDGS-a u krmnoj smjesi tovnih pilica (Cobb 500) na klaonicke pokazatelje istih. U pokusu su bile tri skupine tovnih pilica (40 u skupini) a pokus je trajao 42 dana. U P1 skupini u smjesu je dodano 15 %, a P2 skupini 25 % DDGS-a. Masa trupa u K skupini imala statisticki znacajno vise vrijednosti (P < 0, 05) u odnosu na P2 skupinu i statisticki vrlo znacajno vise (P < 0, 01) vrijednosti od P1 skupine. The research has been made on 20 Black Slavonian Pigs in both ways of keeping them (indoor, outdo... more The research has been made on 20 Black Slavonian Pigs in both ways of keeping them (indoor, outdoor). The pigs have been fed up to 135 kg body mass. The pigs in the outdoor system have been held on a natural pasture ground. Other than pasture, the pigs have consumed, over the summer period, the food offered on stubble-fields after the harvest (barley, wheat) and over the winter times after corn harvest. They had only minimal corn consumption, mostly during the winter (average daily consumption was 0.15 kg). Dissection of cold (+40C) right sided pig body composition has been made to the modified Weniger et al (1963) method. The meat quality has been determined on a long back muscle sample (musculus longissimus dorsi- MLD) taken berween 13th and 14th rib. The pig carcasses in the outdoor system had a very significant (P<0.01) absolute and relative leg share, less belly-rib share and higher meat quantity.
