_10:58 pm_[alpha_castor] Native Americans have a love and appreciation for the land and the earth, that most people today can't understand with out wanting control of that land. I believe we need to go back to a time, where we settled our differences with a peace pipe, and everything was done for the love of family and not power. (Comment on this)

_11:14 am_[gc7234] what is the native americans' spiritual leader (ie, the equivalent of jesus for christians)? who is your jesus-type figure? (ie, jesus is to christians, as WHAT is to native americans?) and what are some of the main native american religions? is shamanism one of them? if so, who is the jesus figure in shamanism? is there a good book you'd recommend that would kinda be like a good starting point, like a "Shamanism for Dummies" type of book. a lot of questions, i know. sorry. but i would appreciate a thourough answer to each one if u can help; i'd be grateful. thank you. _11:26 pm_[thewindkeeper] Image hosted by Photobucket.com I'm curious as to everyones thoughts/beliefs on the White Buffalo. I am personally not Native American but I have the utmost respect for them. For some reason, I feel drawn to these buffalo. (4 Comments |Comment on this)

_12:03 pm_[dj_aaa] Red rock... Living in today's world has got to be the most amazing time ever! Prophecy after prophecy is coming to fruition and humanity on the whole is healing. This is in part due to forums like this one, in which dialog can be invaluable in the ongoing journey towards one community. I study indigenous cultures and eco-psychology for several reasons, the most important of which is to connect to my relations. So the word 'study' is a bit inaccurate. I immerse myself in this knowledge, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. The result has been mind blowing. Traditional treatments for my illnesses are far superior to the ways of Western medicine and the fda... Eventually the illness can be completely dissolved when addressed properly, instead of being bandaged over by medications and shallow treatment. From the connection of Turtle Island and Heart Island, to the White Buffalo, there are many ways to embrace prophecy in the moment. Current Mood: thankful (1 Comment |Comment on this)
