About Me

* I am a dorky fangirl who gets overly excited and often squees and bounces and rarely acts my age

* I ramble about RL, fic, fandom, movies, and the like but usually with LJ cuts

* I like doing polls when I'm bored, especially about fic and pairings to write

* I don't like hate, wank, prejudice, shipping wars, and intolerance

* Sometimes I write a lot. Sometimes, not so much.

* I get really excited about things I like so, yeah, I mentioned the bouncing and squeeing thing already

* I'm 30+, have been writing since I was 8, have been writing fanfic since 1999 (started in Buffy fandom, joined HP in early 2004, joined Star Trek in 2009, ventured into Avengers in 2012, and am now back in HP in 2014), am a sucker for romance of any rating with trips to the dark side on occasion, enjoy het and slash and femmeslash, I OTP Kirk/McCoy, and I tend to write post-Hogwarts fics.

I do not expect everyone on my Flist to enjoy every pairing I write nor do I expect to enjoy every pairing that appears on my F-list, but I do expect mutual respect and acceptance of everyone's differences. In other words, don't bring the hate around me.

* I issue Challenge Me requests to my F-list where you can make requests for me to write something and, more often than not, I will do my best to answer as many as possible.

* I enjoy receiving recs (fic and art) from my F-list so do not hesitate to comment with something you think I'd enjoy and might not know about!

Pairings/Characters I Enjoy

I'm a huge Hermione shipper (obviously). I'll write/read Hermione/Nearly Anyone. For my reading interests, I'm somewhat picky with het and prefer Hermione-centric. In regards to slash, I tend to like rare pairs. For Gen fic, there are some I'll almost always read. Others depend on my mood, same as shippy fic. For writing, I'm generally open to receiving prompts for anything that doesn't hit a squick for kink/characters. Here is a general list of favorites and quirks for all my fandom interests (reading and writing).
