How does Interior AI's interior designer work?

Interior AI lets you upload a photo of your current interior of a room, select an interior design style and redesign it. It takes half a minute to generate and then you get photorealistic renders of your new interior.

We use recent breakthroughs in artificial intellgience technology to understand your current interior and adjust it to your preferences.

Best of all, you can do all this from your laptop or phone without having to pay an expensive interior designer thousands to tens of thousands of dollars.

After sign up you get access to Interior AI's studio which lets you use 30+ room types and 50+ interior styles.

How do the different design modes work?

Interior AI has different modes for different purposes.

[ Interior design with 3D Vision ] tries to maintain the interior of your current room while changing its style.

[ Interior design (2D photo) ] is the same but manipulates the space more and does not stick to the 3d objects like furniture that's already in the room.

[ Virtual Staging AI ] is specifically to fill up empty spaces and stage them with furniture.

[ Freestyle ] does not require any input photo, and just generates interior designs from scratch based on the style and room type you picked.

[ Sketch2Image ] converts your interior sketches directly into photorealistic renderings.

And finally [ SketchUp ] lets you upload a screenshot from your SketchUp design and it will transform it into a photorealistic render.

Can I virtually stage with Interior AI?

Yes, Interior AI has a special Virtual Staging AI mode, which lets you fill empty spaces with furniture while maintaing the building's construction.

Simple upload a photo, select the room type, and interior design style you'd like to see. Then under Mode, select [ Virtual Staging AI ] and tap [ Create ].

My payment method is not accepted when signing up

Due to lots of fraud attempts, we've had to increase our payment security. Firstly, disable your VPN or proxy server. Then make sure your name, CVC and postal code match the one on your payment card and of your bank account. Also your card country should be the same as your billing country. And finally make sure you enable 3D Secure or similar authentication on your card with your bank.

What type of photos should I upload of my current interior?

We recommend uploading photos with in a straight angle towards a wall or window. Photos from angles do work but perform worse than straight photos.

Make sure the photo is sharp and clearly lit. The resulting output is heavily reliant on the photo you upload as input.

What file formats of photos do you accept as my current interior?

We accept JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF files only. HEIC is not supported now, so you'll have to convert those to JPG first (you can do on MacOS by right clicking → Quick Actions → Convert Image → and then JPG.

How long does it take to create an AI interior design?

Based on the current processing times, it takes about 25 seconds to design one interior. You can render up to 16 designs at the same time though!

What will you do with my interior photos?

We only use your photos to create AI interior design renders. We do not train on them like other companies, and your photos and renders are only accessible by you.

The photos you upload and designs you generate stay private. Your personal data and images are stored securely, and our system is designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.

How much will the AI interior redesign match my current interior and home construction?

The resemblance of your interior depends on the quality of photo you upload and which design mode you select.

The better your photos, the more accurately the AI can understand and represent your home's unique characteristics.

Some design modes are more accurate than others. For example selecting [ Creative ] will get you more wild ideas but they will follow your home’s construction less, so might not be realistically feasible. Selecting [ Interior design (with 3D Vision) ] sticks very close to the current shape of your home interior while only changing the style.

Will my AI interior designs have artefacts?

Sometimes yes.

Depending on the quality of the uploaded photo, and the type of designs you render, you might see some AI artefacts.

Any app that uses generative AI imaging will have artefacts. They can be illogical things like chairs with too few legs, illogical construction etc. From our experience, about 90% of renders you make will be good enough, and 10% will be very good.

We also have an editor so you can brush away artefacts yourself and regenerate those parts. We're improving Interior AI every day to reduce artefacts for example by auto-detecting them and then re-trying. But remember it's not perfect yet and we're not promising it is!

Is your payment processor secure?

Yes, our payment processor is secure. We use Stripe for financial processing, and we do not store any information about your card ourselves.

Stripe ensures bank-level security standards.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via credit or debit cards, including MasterCard, VISA, American Express, as well as iDeal, SOFORT, Bancontact, Przelewy24, Giropay, EPS, GrabPay, AliPay, and many more. However, we do not accept PayPal or cryptocurrency and are not planning to.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds as costs incurred for generating AI images are extremely high.

In turn, our upstream providers do not let us ask for refunds for the GPU processing time used to generate your AI interior designs. This would make it a loss making endeavor for us.

During sign up you agree to withhold your right to refund for this reason directly get to use the product.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Go to the top of Interior AI when you are logged in and click Billing, you will be redirected to the billing portal where you can download invoices, switch plans and cancel your subscription.

If you are not logged in, first login: go to the top of Interior AI's frontpage and enter your email in the email box, click the button to continue. Follow the link in the email you got and click Billing in the top right of that page.

If you can not login, no worry: click Billing on the top of Interior AI's frontpage and enter the email you signed up with on the billing portal. Stripe will send you an email to login and then you can download invoices, switch plans and cancel your subscription there.

How do I get 6+ months free when signing up?

If you sign up for the yearly plan, the pricing is over 50% cheaper, which means 6+ months free compared to regular monthly pricing.

Make sure to select yearly and you are saving a lot of money! This is our way of thanking you for your trust in our Interior AI and lets us reinvest your money to improve the product.

Do I get access to Interior AI after payment?

Yes, immediately after payment you get an automated email with a login link.

You can then create your first AI interior designs.

Can I get a receipt or invoice?

Yes, after payment you get a receipt and invoice sent by Stripe.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time.

Go to the top of Interior AI when you are logged in and click Billing, you will be redirected to Stripe's billing portal or the Pricing page where you can switch plans.

I used the wrong card and want a refund and switch it to my company card

The best is to self-refund your account, then cancel it, then sign up again with a new email and your correct card.

We cannot refund you or switch your card ourselves.
