InuYasha and the Gang... in another Highschool RPG's Journal (original) (raw)

InuYasha sat alone in his room, his legs curled up into the office chair he used at his computer desk. He had decided to skip school, and nothing was going to change his mind. Myouga-jiji had left early in the morning before he even needed to be at school and wouldn't be back until later... he always took his time on getting back, so InuYasha was not worried about being caught. The last few days had been weird for him... and frankly he didn't want to think about it much... he mindlessly scrolled through the songs he wanted to collect from Bear Share. There were a few concerts he was interested in going to this weekend, but there was no way he would have the money in time to pay for cover... for that fact he would have a hard time getting a ride too. None of his friends at school were into going to the weekly concerts at JackRabbits or The Immperial, they went to football games, or soccer, or the movies.

"Keh..." he whispered to himself, as he scrolled down the browser page online. There was a certain damn song he wanted to hear and he just couldn't find it. With a frustrated sigh he banged on the desk top, sending his mouse two inches off the wooden surface. As it did so, InuYasha's golden eyes moved and the sticky note on his desk reminded him that he needed to get in touch with Kagome. He blinked a few times at it... debating on if he really wanted to wast his time, on the other hand... he did nothing today so taking the time and effort to go see Kagome wouldn't such a big deal.

Angry and frustrated at his computer, he got out of his chair and pulled some jeans on over his boxer shorts. He really didn't want to be reminded by inanimate objects of what the hell he was supposed to do and when he was supposed to do it. He threw a red zip up jacket over his white wife beater tank top that he had slept in, and marched out of his room.

"This is stupid," he told himself as he slipped his shoes on, grabbed his house key from the key rack by the door, and left. Making sure to lock up or else Myouga would lecture him... something he didn't really want to hear. His hands found their way into his jacket pockets, long white hair occasionally whisping in front of his face. White ears twitched as he made his way down the street, and soon out of the neighborhood, and now at the shoppinng center that was three miles away from home.

There was a grocery store, a pet shop, an insurance agency, a seafood joint, and a small private doctor's office in the duplex. InuYasha walked behind the seafood restaurant, the odor of the dumpster making him want to just gag, when a very distinct smell came to mind. His head snapped in the direction of the doctor's office, which was a very long parking lot away.

"Kagome?" he asked no one in particular... "and Kikyou..."

Gold eyes narrowed, and he made his way across the lot.

'I wonder why they are both at the doctor's joint... what the hell could have happened?' As he got closer, he could pick up more discernable emotions... and another person, one he was not familiar with... one he didn't really care about. He could smell Kagome's discomfort, and without even realizing it, his pace picked up.

He passed a median in the parking lot that was to make he pavement look not as dead and lifeless... and with a skip off of the wood chips and tiny grass he was over on the side walk. "Kagome..." he said, instead of asked, "What are you doing here?"
