Businesses share their upcoming events, reveal their products, and advertise to their potential customers, where individuals use social media to stay connected with their social circles, get updates and news from social media pages of news agencies, and update their information regarding the latest activities, businesses, economy, events, politics, trends, and about their area of interest. According to Statista, there were 4.59 billion users of social media worldwide in 2022 and expected to grow up to 5.85 billion in the year 2027. With its massive user base, social media does not only generate useful information for businesses and individuals, but at the same time, it also creates an abundance of misinformation and disinformation as well as malinformation to acquire social-political or business agendas. Individuals tend to share social media posts without checking the authenticity of the information they are sharing, which results in posts having misinformation, disinformation, or malinformation becoming viral around the world in a matter of minutes. Identifying misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation has become a prominent problem associated with social media.

Today the education is moving towards Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based education; as it is economically important for sustainable development of the developed and underdeveloped countries and it will increase the jobs, ensure growth in economy and impart scientific innovation. This paper introduces STEM education and progress of STEM based education in United Arab Emirates, where recently STEM has been introduced in schools. Awareness of STEM based education and its needs will be discussed along with STEM implementation framework will be proposed.

For constant changes and successful delivery of projects the software project management techniques and framework were introduced. Currently many different process models exist which are selected and implemented according to the needs of project and organizations. To bring uniformity in project management processes PMI introduced Project management framework consisting of 10 knowledge areas and 5 processes. The framework consists of all aspects of the project management and processes which are required to be followed for the delivery of project from initiation of the project till the closure of the project. The other most popular software project management is Agile project management which emphasis on delivery in phases and releases known as sprints. The agile processes consist of Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban, Crystal; Agile unified Process and many more. The agile process flow consists of six processes but the main lacking found in these processes was the unified framework to be followed by Agile Masters and Project managers. In this research, the Project management 10 knowledge areas and 5 processes have been mapped with the processes of Agile project management to propose Agile project management framework. A survey was also to get insight view of the individuals regarding agile project management and where the agile project management lacks focus in comparison with traditional project management. Agile Project management is an extensive and vast topic on which further research is required to be carried out to further polish these processes according the needs of the project. In future, more extensive research can be carried out on the artifacts required for agile project management, their template.

It boasts scaling and reduced latency. Since the concept is still nascent, many research questions remain unanswered. One of these is the challenge of Resource Management. There is a pressing need for a reliable and scalable architecture that meets the Resource Management challenge without compromising the Quality of Service. Among the proposed solutions, Artificial Intelligence based path selection techniques and automated link detection methods can provide lasting and reliable answer. An optimal approach for introducing intelligence in the networks is the infusion of Machine learning methods. Such futuristic, intelligent networks form the backbone of the next generation of Internet. These self-learning and self-healing networks are termed as the Zero-Touch networks. In this article, the authors focused on the visibility of Pakistani University scholars on Google Scholar (GS). An intelligent Web Bot (MAKGBOT) was developed to collect the scholarly data of all Pakistani scholars, whose data is publicly available on Google Scholar. The findings of this research show that 87% of Pakistani universities have a presence on Google Scholar. It analyzes the research performance of scholars based on the last five years' data from 2016 to 2020. Furthermore, the analysis reports the level of scholarly activities of all provinces and autonomous areas of Pakistan. This paper concludes by discussing the ethical issue of misrepresentation of information on the public profile and its consequences on the rankings of legitimate scholars.

Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is a metaheuristic algorithm based on swarm intelligence, widely used to solve global optimisation problems throughout the real world. The main problem PSO faces is premature convergence due to lack of diversity, and it is usually stuck in local minima when dealing with complex real-world problems. In meta-heuristic algorithms, population initialisation is an important factor affecting population diversity and convergence speed. In this study, we propose an improved PSO algorithm variant that enhances convergence speed and population diversity by applying pseudo-random sequences and opposite rank inertia weights instead of using random distributions for initialisation. This paper also presents a novel initialisation population method using a quasi-random sequence (Faure) to create the initialisation of the swarm, and through the opposition-based method, an opposite s...

Traditional cities, with their shared characteristics, will be unable to provide human demands. Machine learning (ML) techniques are being used to increase an application's understanding and capabilities as the volume of data received rises. Smart transportation is defined as an umbrella concept that describes route optimization, parking, street lighting, and infrastructure applications in this evaluation. The purpose of this research is to present a self-contained assessment of machine learning techniques and internet of things applications in intelligent transportation to provide a clear picture of the current state of circumstances. In this chapter, the authors attempt to explain several features of smart transportation in greater depth.

Different tools are available for performing data mining, one of which is WEKA. The aim of this paper is to use WEKA tool for data analysis of OGDCL stock prices. Two forecasting algorithms i.e. SMOreg and Multilayer perceptron has been used. Open, high, low and close price of OGDC stock share has been predicted for ten days. The results for obtained from both algorithms have been compared. It was found that SMOreg provides the most accurate result of the two algorithms for the given dataset. Further analysis of different forecasting algorithm for more accurate result has to done in future.

Open access to resources, such as research journals, publications, articles in periodicals etc. is restricted to retain their authenticity and integrity, as well as to track and record their usage in the form of citations. This gives the author of the resource his fair share of credibility in the community, but this may not be the case with open educational resources such as lecture notes, presentations, test papers, reports etc. that are produced and used internally within an organisation or multiple organisations. This calls for the need to build a system that stores a permanent and immutable repository of these resources in addition to keeping a track record of who utilises them. Keeping in view the above-mentioned problem in mind, the present research attempts to explore how a Blockchain based system called BlockED can be used to help the educational community manage their resources in a way to avoid any unauthorised manipulations or alterations to the documents, as well as recognise how this system can provide an innovative method of giving credibility to the creator of the resource whenever it is utilised.
