The reaction between zirconocene dichloride and excess diethylzinc in d-6-benzene solution was st... more The reaction between zirconocene dichloride and excess diethylzinc in d-6-benzene solution was studied. It was found that the exchange reaction between Cp2ZrCl2 and Et2Zn is accompanied by the formation of such complexes as bis-(cyclopentadienyl)ethylzirconium chloride (EtZrCp2Cl), a zirconium-organozinc complex, and bis-(cyclopentadienyl)diethylzirconium (Et2ZrCp2). It was also found that as a result of ligand exchange in zirconocene dichloride–diethylzinc bimetallic systems, the zirconium-organozinc complex is formed in minor amounts. An assessment of the thermodynamic stability of the obtained products is given based on the results of DFT analysis. The description of the NMR spectral data of the obtained organozirconium complexes is carried out.

Incorporation of a γ-lactone ring into the structure of carbapenems is considered as a potential ... more Incorporation of a γ-lactone ring into the structure of carbapenems is considered as a potential "trap" for metallo-β-lactamases that destructively act on carbapenems. New carbapenems containing a (±)-4,4-dimethyl-3-mercaptodihydrofuran-2(3H)-one fragment at C 3 have been synthesized. On chromatographing a mixture of the diastereomeric carbapenems on a column with silica gel deactivated with NEt3, a change of the ratio of isomers occurs. The remaining enantiomerically enriched (3S)-4,4-dimethyl-3-mercaptodihydrofuran-2(3H)-one with 20 .

The first synthesis of 2,9-disubstituted cis-2,3а,7b,9,10a,14b-hexaazaperhydrodibenzotetracenes h... more The first synthesis of 2,9-disubstituted cis-2,3а,7b,9,10a,14b-hexaazaperhydrodibenzotetracenes has been accomplished through intermolecular heterocyclization of N,N-bis(methoxymethyl)alkylamines with cis-1,6,7,12-tetraazaperhydrotetracene in the presence of SmCl3·6H2O catalyst or by recyclization of 1,3,5-tricycloalkyl-1,3,5-triazinanes with cis-1,6,7,12-tetraazaperhydrotetracene in the presence of NiCl2·6H2O catalyst. The structures were established by 1D (1H, and 13C) and 2D (HSQC, HMBC, COSY, NOESY) NMR spectroscopy, MALDI TOF/TOF mass spectrometry, and X-ray diffraction analyses.

ChemInform Abstract Das Phenylmercaptomethyl-chromanol (IIIa) wird durch Kondensation des Hydroch... more ChemInform Abstract Das Phenylmercaptomethyl-chromanol (IIIa) wird durch Kondensation des Hydrochinons (I) mit dem Hydroxysulfid (II) in Gegenwart von B-trifluoridetherat synthetisiert. Sein Aoetyl-Derivat (IIIb) lässt sich mit N-Bromsuccinimid zum Chromansulfoxid IV) oxidieren, das als Gemisch der diastereoisomeren RR/SS-und SR/RS-Raoemate erhältlich ist. Dieses Gemisch unterwirft sich einer modifizierten Pummerer-Reaktion zum Monothioacetal (V), das bei Hydrolyse und Neuacetylierung in den bekannten o:-Tocopherolorläufer (VI) umgewandelt wird. α-Tocopherol (VIII) ist aus diesem wie bekannt durch Wittig-Reaktion mit Hexahydrofarnesyl-triphenylphosphoniumbromid (VII), anschliessende Hydrierung und Hydrolyse darstellbar. Bei Einsatz von (3R,7R)-(VII) entsteht (2RS,4'R,8')-(VIII).' Der Versuch, α-Tocopherol durch direkte Syntheseüber Alkylierung von 6-Methoxymethoxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethyl-2-phenylsulfonylmethyl+chroman mit Hexahydrofamesylbromid darzustellen, führt zur Ringöffnung und nachfolgender O-Alkylierung.

Out of these, ajugasterone 11-acetate is new ecdysteroid.

Objective: Synthesis of the salts and diylidenehydrazidеs of 2-bromo-1-(thietan-3-yl) imidazole-4... more Objective: Synthesis of the salts and diylidenehydrazidеs of 2-bromo-1-(thietan-3-yl) imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid to evaluate the antidepressant activities.Methods: The structures of the synthesised compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis and 1Н NMR spectral data. The melting points of the compounds were determined on a Stuart SMP30 apparatus. The X-ray diffraction data for compound IIc were obtained at room temperature on a Xcalibur Gemini Еos. The antidepressant activity was investigated in the tail suspension and forced swimming tests. The locomotor activity and anxiety were studied in the open field test.Results: All synthesised compounds showed antidepressant activity after single intraperitoneal injection to male mice at doses equimolar to 10 mg/kg of imipramine. One of the compounds, 2-bromo-1-(thietan-3-yl) imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid di[(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl) methylidenehydrazide], reduced the anxiety and decreased the locomotor activity at statistically...
