Common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is the most important edible grain legume in Ecuador. The Min... more Common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is the most important edible grain legume in Ecuador. The Ministry of Agriculture, Cattle Raising, Aquaculture and Fisheries of this country estimated that 71,600 hectares were cultivated in 2012; of the sown area, 53% was dedicated to dry grain and the remaining 47% to fresh grain. Beans are an important source of income for farmers and food for thousands of Ecuadorian families. Crop performance and yield are affected by diseases such as angular leaf spot caused by Pseudocercospora griseola (Sacc.) Ferraris. The best alternative for disease control is to use resistant varieties. However, durability of field resistance will depend on the knowledge of angular leaf spot variability. In Ecuador, detailed and systematic studies on the variability of the angular leaf spot pathogen have not been conducted. El libro 2 de la ley 1098 de 2006 conocida como la ley de infancia y adolescencia, pone de manifi... more El libro 2 de la ley 1098 de 2006 conocida como la ley de infancia y adolescencia, pone de manifiesto en el articulo 178 que las sanciones del SRPA, tienen una finalidad protectora, educativa y restaurativa. El documento CONPES numero 3629 (2009), establece que la politica de atencion al adolescente en conflicto con la ley, con enfoque de justicia restaurativa es cooperativo y por ende no le interesa abstractamente el derecho violado, sino el hecho concreto de que una persona fue lesionada por las acciones ilicitas de otras y el dano que debe ser reparado, debe prevalecer antes que el delito y la pena.

Once Legal Psychology, allows the use of tools, techniques and practices of psychology towards pr... more Once Legal Psychology, allows the use of tools, techniques and practices of psychology towards promoting dynamic emerging judicial scenarios such as those occurring within the recovery room, where it is intended that the sanctions of this system involving repairs of damage caused by criminal behavior, which is not achieved with the traditional justice of punitive court belonging found in the preparation of this study, which sought to design implement and evaluate under the research methodology CIPP, a program Restorative Justice Impact panels aimed at adolescents involved in the recovery room Amigonian Youth Centre in the city of Tunja, using estimates of systemic psychology. The context evaluation showed the relevance of designing and implementing the program in tone to the involvement that occurs after the riot happens in this institution on March 20, 2014, caused by inmates in the teens. Regarding the evaluation process, the results from a semantic analysis showed that the victims recognize attitudes of remorse and shame in adolescents, which are associated with a motivation to repair them. Also analysis of product evaluation, showed that adolescents offenders recognize the impact of existing criminal conduct after the mutiny and this generated empathic processes to the victims, who were related to repair dynamics that emerged from the program.

However, the most effective researchers usually intuit that this entry point is not sufficient to make themselves useful to farmers and nudge systems. Yet non-technical work frequently goes undocumented leaving many of the drivers of success unstudied. This paper attempts to understand the factors that contributed to the wide utilization of native crop varieties and species that were being promoted by the Ecuadorian National Agriculture Research Institution. The results show that what really made a difference in farmers' lives and the overall food system was increasing farmers' knowledge and capacity to produce quality seeds, promoting the consumption of these crops to national consumers, and linking farmers to outside groups. As a result, over a period of five years three case studies on three different farmer groups showed adoption rates of new varieties of between 20–50% and that they were able to produce a...

El presente proyecto de tesis, es proponer el diseno de un cuarto para la torre de telecomunicaci... more El presente proyecto de tesis, es proponer el diseno de un cuarto para la torre de telecomunicaciones actualmente reubicado a una distancia de 130 metros de su sitio original. La torre es tipo venteada, su nombre por los 9 vientos (tensores de alambre acerado) que la sostienen, esta torre tiene altura de 18 metros, en ella esta sujeta la antena del equipo cliente (receptor)de internet, esta opera bajo la frecuencia de 5.8 GHz. Luego es necesario estudiar el tipo de resistividad del terreno para la propuesta de diseno de un sistema de puesta a tierra (SPT) para la caseta o cuarto de equipos, con ello se puede evitar dano en los equipos que seinstalen dentro del cuarto. En el estudio del SPT, se propone un metodo de aterrizamiento, para el cuarto de equipos.
