This study proposes a complete overview of the voting machine, comparison and issues among the co... more This study proposes a complete overview of the voting machine, comparison and issues among the conventional system and EVMs. Voting in election forms the fundamental right of democracy which creates a bridge between the governments and governed. In the current scenario, because of successive advancement in voting methods with technology from ballot paper to EVMs and other methods reduces expense and time, and also increases security and trust of the voter. Most of the voting systems have proven correct but many have concerns and security issues like invalid votes, malicious attack etc. This study proposes an improved voting system based on technology to ensure more reliability and security for user identification of a person, like by introducing biometric or aadhaar link with EVMs. Keywords: EVM (Electronic Voting Machine), voting machine, invalid votes, malicious attack, DRE (Direct-recording electronic) Cite this Article: Anuradha Kumari, Naveen Rathee, Vikas Maheshwari. It is essential to change health services from a hospital to a patient-centric platform since med... more It is essential to change health services from a hospital to a patient-centric platform since medical costs are steadily growing and new illnesses are emerging on a worldwide scale. This study provides an optimal decision support system based on the cloud and Internet of Things (IoT) for identifying Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) to provide patients with efficient remote healthcare services. To identify the presence of medical data for CKD, the proposed technique uses an algorithm named Improved Simulated Annealing-Root Mean Square -Logistic Regression (ISA-RMS-LR). The four subprocesses that make up the proposed model are a collection of data, preprocessing, feature selection, and classification. The incorporation of Simulated Annealing (SA) during Feature Selection (FS) enhances the ISA-RMS-LR model’s classifier outputs. High data rates techniques in communication systems have gained considerable attraction in recent... more High data rates techniques in communication systems have gained considerable attraction in recent years. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a strong candidate for these systems, which is a multi-carrier modulation technique. In OFDM systems, channel estimation is usually performed by sending pilot symbols on sub carriers known at the receiver. The quality of the estimation depends on the pilot arrangement. In this paper we compared the different channel estimation schemes by inserting pilot tones into all of the subcarriers of OFDM symbols with a specific period (Block-type) and (Comb-type). In this paper we also illustrate the minimum requirement of the number of pilots for channel estimation based on Sampling Theorem and other by the use of OFDM linear system.

A two-step, two-sided unitary transformation scheme is employed to diagonalize a complex 2 x 2 matrix. The transformations are tailored to the use of CORDIC (Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer) algorithms for high speed arithmetic. The complex SVD array is modeled on the Brent-Luk-Van-Loan array for real SVD. An array with O (n2) processors is required to compute the SVD of an nxn matrix in O (n log n) time. An architecture for the complex 2 x 2 processor with an area complexity twice that of a real 2 x 2 processor, is shown to have the best area/time tradeoff for VLSI implementation. The computation time for the complex SVD array is less than three times that for a real SVD array with a similar CORDIC based implementation.

This paper presents a technique for Antenna beam forming in high data rate OFDM-MIMO systems. The... more This paper presents a technique for Antenna beam forming in high data rate OFDM-MIMO systems. The technique makes use of the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) algorithm for matrix decomposition using Givens Rotation. In this paper a hardware oriented two-step diagonalization SVD scheme is derived from simple two-sided unitary transformations developed to ensure hardware and performance efficiency using CORDIC. Each unitary transformation step in the diagonalization procedure is identical in structure to permit pipelined systolic execution. The simulation results are obtained for fixed point models using SVD algorithm. An overall architecture is created in Matlab for 4X4 Complex valued matrices elements and then simulated. The VHDL code is then written to describe the architecture of the overall design and is the synthesized using Xilinx ISE 10.1 software for virtex-4 target device.

The increasing intrusion with the nature has led to unpredictable weather condition. In such scen... more The increasing intrusion with the nature has led to unpredictable weather condition. In such scenarios it becomes difficult for the farmers to shelter their crops. There is a requirement for a complete system which provides adequate water in case of dry weather while protect the crops in case of excessive rain or winds. This project provides automatic irrigation machinery which will work in accordance with the temperature and humidity. Moreover rain sensors are deployed to get the information regarding desired or undesired rain and accordingly the crops can be covered. This system is hope of reprieve for the farmer. The objective is to create a composite and an effective system that provide good yield at low cost.
