There are a number of stunning and interesting walks to be enjoyed on the Isle of Wight no matter your fitness level, from small country walks to the more adventurous full coastal walk spanning the whole Island.

With miles of accessible footpaths to chose from, there are walks to be found no matter where you are staying on the Island. All the Island walks are clearly signposted, are easy to follow and provide one of the best way to enjoy some of the Isle of Wight’s most spectacular views and scenery.

For those trying the main round the Island coastal walk, there are a number of great rest stops from B&B to hotels along the route providing an overnight rest before continuing on as well as some great pubs and restaurants along the way to keep you fuelled on your walk. For the less ambitious walkers, there are a number of smaller walks to try both in the country and along the coast all of which are accessible by car and bus. Some other great walks take in the historical side of the Island and some that enjoy more than a few pub stops along their route giving you the chance not only to take in some Island views but also some Island Ales.

We hope you enjoy your walking holiday and come back again and again to try all the trails and footpaths the Island has to offer, for those who are interested the Island runs a walking festival each year with over 200 walks over 16 days in May and another 50 in October so if you love walking make sure you get involved.
