cater to people, who for serious medical reasons, were prohibited by their private doctors to
be vaccinated. This fact, however, leads to their unwilling social seclusion, since they cannot
obtain the vaccination certificate that ensures access to all social activities. They are, therefore,
faced with the dilemma of consenting to vaccination, disregarding possible health or even fatal
consequences, or social exclusion and isolation. This research study aims to discuss this ethical
conflict, between what is considered ethical for society in contrast to restriction of personal
will and health. It wishes to rediscover the very essence of the commitment to protecting
human rights-health and social well-being. This dilemma will be viewed and examined under
the scope of core ethical values and principles met in Hippocrates’ oath and the fundamental
ethical theory of Utilitarianism. The study will try, drawing from these ethical theories and
definitions, to test these questions and conclude on what the indicative ethical choice is. The
study wishes to propose suggestions of measures that can be taken to ensure equal operations
for all citizens, based on medical ethics and self-disposition principles. It will also propose
actions that should be put in the equation, sensitive groups. We feel that a balanced ethical
approach that does not accentuate disparities within and among different groups, could ensure
health equality, better social resilience, and commitment to effective prospective preparedness.

During the era of biotechnological accomplishments and globalization, a new field of ethics arises, the field of Bioethics. It aims to balance between the dangers that emerge because of the implementation of biotechnological accomplishments on human life and their benefits. Through the promotion of Bioethics education, everyone has to realize his personality, his mentality, his citizenship, and his connection to others. Many educational institutes worldwide embody bioethical courses for their students and an adequate number of curricula have been created for this purpose. Researchers and educators accord with the necessity of public ethical and bioethical literacy already from elementary school. At the same time in many seminars organized by the Committees on Bioethics, the appropriateness of teaching Bioethics primarily is presented and organizations worldwide support the introduction of Bioethics courses in the curricula. The majority of European countries have incorporated ethics and bioethics courses into their curricula for Primary Education. Greece amongst other countries is the exception to that rule. The goal of this dissertation is to convince the local education policymakers about the importance of Bioethics education so as to include ethics and bioethics courses in the Greek educational system, in all grades and especially in elementary school, based on the necessity for the creation of educated future citizens for the country and the world.

The Ministry of education had to guarantee that learning would be safeguarded as well as impose several measures to mitigate the effects of this unfamiliar situation. Different strategies were followed regarding special needs schools and standard schools. The aim of this article is to investigate how satisfactory the measures were considered by parents and teachers of both schools. Moreover, we seek to explore if the trust of the stakeholders of education was increased or whether it was a lost opportunity to enhance trust among parents, teachers, and the Ministry of Education. For the purpose of our study, we delivered questionnaires among the teachers and parents of both schools as well as conducted semi-structured interviews with the headmasters of the school units. Also, a rigorous and extensive study of the orders issued by the Ministry was done. ...

In this study, which took place in Athens from March 10, 2020, until May 10, 2020, all the appropriate research tool refinements have been considered before its finalization. The snowball sampling method has been used for primary school teachers of various disciplines. Furthermore, the requirements of the mixed research (qualitative and quantitativetriangulation) are met. Research data have been collected through an open-ended type questionnaire comprising 10 questions pertaining to the incorporation of bioethics in the PE syllabus and the data process has been performed with the use of the Content Analysis Method. The majority of the participants showed a positive attitude towards the introduction of bioethics courses in PE and expressed their thoughts and concerns about the implementation of this endeavor. The most important finding is the perception on the importance of bioethics literacy in PE.

Our article concludes with several points that need to be taken into consideration in moments of crisis and suggestions on what could be done to alleviate problems in similar times of crisis.

During the era of biotechnological accomplishments and globalization, a new field of ethics arises, the field of Bioethics. It aims to balance the dangers that emerge because of the implementation of biotechnological accomplishments on human life and their benefits. With the promotion of Bioethics education, everyone has to realize his personality, his mentality, his citizenship, and his connection to others. The goal of this dissertation is to convince the local education policymakers about the importance of Bioethics education so to include ethics and bioethics courses in the Greek educational system, in all grades and especially in elementary school, based on the necessity for the creation of educated future citizens for the country and the world.

Greece, have failed to cater for people, who for serious medical reasons, were prohibited by their private doctors to be vaccinated. This
fact, however, leads to their unwilling social seclusion, since they cannot obtain the vaccination certificate that ensures access to all social
activities. They are, therefore, faced with the dilemma of consenting
to vaccination, disregarding possible health even fatal consequences,
or social exclusion and isolation. The aim of this research study is to
discuss this ethical conflict, between what is considerate ethical for the
society in contrast to restriction of personal will and health. It wishes
to rediscover the very essence of commitment to protecting human
rights-health and social well- being. This dilemma will be viewed and
examined under the scope of core ethical values and principals met in
Hippocrates oath and the fundamental ethical theory of Utilitarianism. The study will try, drawing from these ethical theories and definitions, to test these questions and conclude on what is the indicative
ethical choice. The study wishes to purpose suggestions of measures
that can be taken, in order to ensure equal operations for all citizens,
based on medical ethics and self -disposition principles. It will also
propose actions that should put in the equation sensitive groups. We
feel that a balanced ethical approach that does not accentuate disparities within and among different groups, could ensure health equality, better social resilience and commitment to effective prospective
preparedness.
