I'm a sociologist, cultural producer, filmmaker, and researcher in the fields of the arts, education and youth, with a Phd in Education (Universidade Federal Fluminense - Brasil / ICS - Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal). Currently, I'm a researcher fellow at the Institute of Anthropology of the Pontificia Università Gregoriana (Roma, Itália), dedicated to investigate youth activism towards youth safeguarding.

After working with independent film distribution, I directed Brazucah Produções, investing in audience building for Brazilian movies through an innovative promotion format based on a decentralized model. I articulated a network of over 200 young people and 70 educational/cultural environments in impact campaigns for more than 40 films.

I then putted a theoretic lens in that field work during my Master degree, which led me to review the method of my interventions, launching the company Praga Conexões. The first project - Oficina Videointeratividade - attended 180 public schools and gave me a wide vision of the demands and desires of poor Brazilian youth. From this experience I created a set of educational programs based on the arts, as the Turista Aprendiz project, as well as the documentary Black Bird (winner of the Doctv Latinoamerica).

Once again, I proposed to look at my interventions with a scientific approach. During my doctorate research I analyze the impact of arts practice among young people from public schools in Rio de Janeiro.

Meanwhile, I studied scriptwriting in an effort to tell relevant stories - I contributed to the creation of the arguments of Malhacao show (TV Globo), directed short films (Canal Futura), and created and produced the series Returnees (Canal Curta, TV Escola, RTP).

I grew up in Denmark, developed projects in African and European countries, and lived poetic-ethnographic experiences in over 40 countries.
