Trevi, a company specialized in special foundations and soil consolidation, is part of the Trevi Group, a world leader in subsoil engineering and in the design and production of specialized machinery and equipment in the sector. Born in Cesena in 1957, in over 65 years of activity, Trevi has developed a strong specialization in the subsoil engineering sector, gaining a recognized worldwide leadership in various fields of intervention. Trevi, in fact, carries out special foundations and soil consolidation works for large infrastructure projects such as subways, dams, ports and docks, bridges and viaducts, railway and highway lines, industrial and civil buildings and special projects. It has also enhanced a special technological expertise in environmental protection interventions through which it secures polluted sites. Among the many projects carried out by the Group over its 65 years of activity we remember: the construction of the Ertan Dam, the consolidation of the Tower of Pisa, the construction of the new Library of Alexandria, the foundations of the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the foundation works of the new World Trade Center, the consolidation of the niches of the Bamiyan Buddhas, the consolidation of the Wolf Creek Damand of LPV-111 levee, the recovery of the Costa Concordia, the new Copenhagen metro, the Four Frankfurt business centre and the new Paris metro line. In 2016, the Group acquired the works for the safety of the Mosul dam in Iraq, facing and overcoming an extremely complicated technological and organizational challenge and for which received the 2022 DFI Outstanding project award. In 2022, the Group acquired the works for the futuristic The Line project in Saudi Arabia, the foundation and consolidation works for the North East Link Project in Melbourne and the construction of the consolidation and drainage curtain of the Rogun Main Dam Foundation in Tajikistan, one of the highest dams in the world

Great progress at the SOTC project by TREVIICOS with the completion of the SOTC-1 location, after installation of the 225 ft deep shaft by #slurryWall, the 100 ft deep shaft by #secantPiles and the 175 ft deep #JetGrouting. Kudos to our Project Team for delivering all activities ahead of schedule! Now working at the SOTC-4 location, alongside McNally Tunneling Corporation on the Southerly Tunnel and Consolidation Project, which is designed to improve the control of Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. The contract for the consolidation and waterproofing of the rock mass foundations of the #RogunDam in Tajikistan was awarded in May 2022 to #TreviSpa by the main Contractor of Rogun HPP Project Lot 2 #Webuild. The main goal of the grouting consolidation/curtain of the #RogunDam Project is to avoid the uncontrolled leakage from the reservoir through the rock mass foundations below the dam and the near surface zones exposed to very high hydraulic gradients. Each construction phase requires serious, disciplined, and organized work in a highly challenging context. #TreviSpa, with its own motivated and experienced site teams, is proceeding with the works in accordance with the work schedule and high quality plan required by the Sub-Contract. (The Project is commissioned by #OJSC Rogun HPP with Webuild as the Lot 2 Contractor responsible for the construction of the Rogun Dam).

Flying over the #Rogun Dam in #Tajikistan! Works are now in progress to consolidate and waterproof the abutments of the Rogun Dam Core: more than 250 km of drilling and grouting works are foreseen to be performed, to improve the mechanical response of the existing rock mass and extend the water barrier towards the lateral banks. Located in Tajikistan, within a high complexity geological context along the Vakhsh river, at the end of its construction the 3600 MW project will be the highest dam in the world with a height of 335 m and an overall volume of ~ 80 million m3, promising to double the country’s overall energy production. La scorsa settimana, #TreviSpa ha partecipato al convegno "Le sfide della industrializzazione nella costruzione e manutenzione di opere sotterranee" SIG AICAP a Brescia, un evento di grande rilevanza nel settore delle costruzioni e delle #infrastrutture. A rappresentare TREVI S.p.A. erano presenti la Responsabile Ricerca e Sviluppo Tecnologico, Raffaella Granata, e il Technical Manager, Giuseppe Di Salvo, che ha presentato i lavori realizzati da #TreviSpA per il Tunnel di Lonato del Garda , un progetto chiave incluso nel Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (#PNRR). Il Tunnel di Lonato è parte della linea Alta Velocità/Alta Capacità Brescia-Verona e comprende due canne (lunghe circa 7 km) che per 400 m sottopassano l’Autostrada A4. Le opere di consolidamento sono state affidate a Trevi, e hanno richiesto l’applicazione di tecnologie avanzate, in un difficile contesto logistico e stratigrafico, per minimizzare i possibili fenomeni di subsidenza legati al passaggio della TBM. Il convegno, tenutosi presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria di Brescia, ha riunito esperti del settore per discutere le ultime innovazioni nella costruzione e manutenzione di opere sotterranee. Questo evento ha sottolineato l’importanza di approcci industrializzati e l’uso di tecnologie avanzate per affrontare le sfide infrastrutturali attuali. Trevi Foundations Nigeria Ltd., a Trevi Group Company, is tackling extremely challenging soil conditions for the construction of the new Opebi-Mende Bridge in Lagos: infact, the new road is being built on very demanding soil, with soft peat reaching depths of 20 meters below the existing ground. To manage this, all our #groundEngineering skills have been put into the field! Additionally, #boredPiles with a diameter of 1500 mm and a depth of 40 meters are being installed using a spiral duct permanent casing within the soft, peaty soil.
