Easily one of the biggest game challenges I’ve had in a long time. What a trip. Thank you Justiv for all of the hard work you put into this. I still can’t believe you were able to jam all this game into a pico 8 cartridge.

Yep got the sapphire from the south. Got the perfect quality pick. I’ve even got two emeralds…just can’t get that ruby. I’ve got an Obsidian farm that would make a dwarf jealous…I tried planting obsidian seeds near lava, in different biomes. Heck I’ve even used a combination of the bridges and the freeze wand to explore the deep waters to the east. Sounds like my number just hasn’t come up yet. Is there a set % of a gemstone appearing or is that based on the random seed? EDIT: Apparently All I had to do was complain: I just got a Ruby today, a little bit of arson later and I’m 100%

OK! I’m glad I’m just not missing something. I think the only thing left is the 2 star spellcasting , but I’m scared there are no rubies in my randomizer seed…I’m on like year 4 winter and I haven’t seen one yet. Have any hints on how to get those?

I am absolutely addicted. This game is great!

I have to ask…can you make cheese in the demo?

Ludir would seem like the direct heir, but the rules of succession require him to be married at the time of his father’s death.

Assuming Lysna and Eirlov are dead (Actually I’m not even sure if that matters) then I think Lonara becomes Cynai-Taalei, Temig becomes Beelon, and Ludir would be Calserom to their kids, with tradition stating that Ludir will provide the beelen to the first heir.

This was really fun! My only complaint is that I can’t name an assistant unseen. Particularly when I named them after one of my assistants and they’re completely the wrong color. LOL.

Is there a way to edit their names once you’ve named them?

Thank you for your quick response! I could have sworn that I tried the bowl with the mushroom log…I obviously didn’t or it would have worked! I also was able to get King’s note. I had a feeling I was just being impatient with that one…!

Unfortunately I ran into the same cave bug when I restarted…Now I have 2 extra ember hearts:

I wasn’t in the caves when I saved and quit. I was near the beach campfire both times. Not sure if that might help but worth mentioning.

OK, I’m completely stuck. I’m skilled enough to make mushroom stew but cant seem to figure out the ingredients.

Also, I can’t find King’s bottle. Can anyone give me a hint? (“It involves fishing” is a perfect hint).

Lastly, I may have found a bug: when I saved and came back, the chest in the cave respawned and gave me another ember heart. Was that supposed to happen?

Really clever blend of mechanics…I’m having a lot of fun! I do have one quality of life request that shouldn’t be too hard to pull off: My old man self is playing in full screen mode, so every time I leave the cart menu using ESC the window shrinks back down and I have to open the options menu to get Fullscreen back. I even changed the keyboard config, but the only way to get out of that cart menu is to press ESC. Any chance I can get a “Return to game” button on the cart?

This game was so good. Easy to learn and fun to play. I can’t believe you jammed all this into a Pico8 cartridge. Thanks so much for making it!

Is there somewhere that you learn the code for the knight puzzle without using the hint book? Or are you just supposed to brute-force your way through it?

Is there a way to scroll the map view in Realms mode? I just lost ANOTHER Final Silence game because I couldn't see what I was doing...The level is hard enough without UI issues.

Yeah this needs explained better. If you click on a star in the star chart you can "Acquire Data" which will open up a few more stars in the constellation. These have smaller affordable upgrades.

This game is a masterclass in how to teach game mechanics by showing rather than telling. Wonderful work!

So I've been thinking about this...I didn't know that you lost your money the first time. Maybe if the icons change depending if it's the first or second time encountering the goblin (see my bad example below) ?

Also how the banker works can be mentioned in the loading screen blurb...
I'm having a lot of fun with this game and I think that the more things you can explore the better.

Ah! I didn't realize that he took your gold at first...Like you said it isn't the easiest thing to land on him.

I'm still on the fence. Since I haven't won the game yet I don't know if he was messing up the game challenge you wanted. I clearly would like to be able to double my coins, but I can see how that might make the game too easy. I'm interested in reading the dev log.

Has the Goblin bankir been removed from the latest update? He hasn't shown up since.

As an old-school Joust fan I am totally addicted to this one. I liked it so much I tried out Kobold Siege, and now I hate the Chef Knights even more! Great game!

Got to play a game yesterday. Had a great time adding Warding Talc and getting smashed by the Son of the Mountain...

The Timing Circle from Cursed City makes for a good game clock.

We opted to keep going after we completed the objective to see if we could take down the Giant...Cost us half the party, but we were triumphant!

I'm having a really good time with this system and can't wait for more...Is there any social media platforms that are talking about this game? The initiative system is so fun...Discord,Facebook? Anyone?

I played two games of this last weekend and I had an absolute blast! I read a lot of skirmish rules and there's a lot of neat concepts in this that work really good together .can't wait to play some more...
