This research paper investigates the economic value of waqf assets in India, with a specific focus on the findings of the Sachar Committee’s Report (2006). The paper provides an overview of the historical evolution of waqf in India, highlighting the substantial number of waqf properties and their expansive land holdings. The paper critically analyzes the disparities between the book value and market value of waqf properties and underscores the potential for enhanced revenue through efficient management and commercial development. The study underscores the need for strategic initiatives to optimize the economic potential of waqf assets, aiming to uplift the socio-economic status of the Muslim community in India. In this context, the paper will employ a mixed-methods approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to provide a comprehensive analysis of the economic value of waqf assets in India, with a specific emphasis on the findings of the Sachar Committee’s Report (2006). A detailed analysis of the Sachar Committee’s Report pertaining to waqf will be conducted, which will involve examining the data presented in the document regarding the number, distribution, and economic value of waqf properties.

However, It is in the name of religion that we see many heinous crimes being perpetrated resulting in the deaths of many innocents despite the fact that every religion promotes universal love and compassion for other people .Today, Islam has been misunderstood due to the lacking of proper Islamic knowledge. So research is needed to mitigate ambiguity regarding Islam’s proper knowledge and Islamic perspective on interreligious dialogue. This article has been designed to go through the Qur’an and the Prophet’s ﷺ way of life in order to clarify how Islam views interfaith dialogue and also to warn of various hazards to be guarded against while in dialogue. Humanity is plagued by various scourges including extremism and terrorism.Terrorism and various f... more Humanity is plagued by various scourges including extremism and terrorism.Terrorism and various forms of extremism have reached a menacing intensity around the globe.Terrorist groups,State terrorism and state sponsored terrorism threaten international peace and security.Terrorism is a crime against Humanity and a global challange demanding global response and solidarity.This paper presents an overview of terrorism,both non state actor as well as state terrorism and state sponsored terrorism along with multiple terrorist activities committed both by state agencies as well as non state actors.This paper reiterates that terrorism is the monopoly none of the religions,races,ethnicities or geography.This paper also focuses on,which of the terrorism, whether non-state or state terrorism proved more detrimental to humanity and why there is not any Universally accepted definition of terrorism.
