J Fandom is a community for fans of Japanese music and culture who have made it their own. Only certain people belong here. If you seek drama, look for it elsewhere because this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a place where you can discuss and share Japanese music, fashion, films, and customs with other intelligent people dedicated to embracing Japanese culture without running into the flighty fangirls or drama-mongers that run rampant, then you're right where you belong.
All those wishing to join this community must fill out an application and send it to a moderator. The moderator will then go through your journal and information to ascertain whether or not this is truly where you belong. If your journal is Friends only, you will need to add one of the co-creators of this community (
targetcandy / pinklittlepill). If you don't, it's an automatic rejection unless someone else in the community can vouch for you.
And yes, we really will check.

If ever you have a dispute with someone else in the community, please bring it to the attention of one of the moderators. Our goal is to have no issues in this community, but we understand human nature and thus seek to put a quick and decisive end to all disputes.
If ever you have a dispute with one of the moderators, please bring it to that moderator first and try to resolve the issue before bringing your complaint to a different moderator. NEVER air disputes with a moderator in the community itself! Anyone that wishes to make a personal battle a public one will be summarily dismissed from the community without warning.
We have no affiliation with any of the bands, brand names, etc. that are discussed in this community and do not claim to have any.
Sharing of mp3s, PVs, photos, website links, graphics, etc. are allowed in this community given that they are in some way related to Japanese culture. ALL media MUST be posted behind an LJ-cut and friends locked.
Even though we are well aware that you are unlikely to do this (we are saying this just to clear ourselves of any liability), please delete mp3's after 48 hours. BUY THE CDS! SUPPORT THE ARTISTS!!!
