[ mood \| chipper ] it's a girl! ♥_t's a girl for White Stripes frontman Jack White and his wife, model Karen Elson.The couple welcomed their first child, Scarlett, on Tuesday in Tennessee, where they recently bought a new home, White's representative Chloe Walsh said Thursday.White married Elson in June 2005 in a ceremony in Brazil. White's ex-wife and White Stripes drummer Meg White was maid of honor.White, 30, began dating Elson, 27, after he and actress Renee Zellweger ended their two-year relationship in 2004. The red-haired Elson appears in the White Stripes' video for the song "Blue Orchid."The singer-guitarist recently formed the Raconteurs, a Detroit group including singer-songwriter Brendan Benson. [ mood \| blessed ] okay fansies, this is how it went down last night in kc under a starry starry sky: (songs are NOT in order):when i hear my namedead leaves and the dirty groundblue orchidhotel yorbathe nursescrewdriverthe union forever (OMG!!!!!!!!! more on this later/tomorrow)hardest button to buttonas ugly as i seemmy doorbelldenial twistlook me over closelyjolenei just don't know what to do with myselfa party of special things to doi'm lonely but i ain't that lonely yet (thankyouthankyouthankyou)red rainpassive manipulation (once with just meg singing it and then later jack sang it)seven nation armyboll weevilyou're pretty good lookin for a girldeath letteri wanna be the boy to warm your mother's heartin the cold cold nightcannoni'm finding it harder to be a gentlemanlets shake handsinstinct bluesand the intro to i think i smell a ratthere was this great moment where jack started doing that song from the wizard of oz that goes 'as mayor of munchkin city' and he maybe forgot some of the words or maybe just felt like whispering them but finally belted out the part 'undeniably gay'. he also made fun monkey sounds. and he was wearing this: thank heavens. and meg was wearing some black leathery pants with a red shirt and a little black scarf. she was too cute. the stage was so beautiful and the lighting during seven nation army in the encore was seizure-ific.
