Last night late I got a text message from my friend Pip who I met on the James Callis website about 6 years ago.
Anyway, she's in LA on holiday with her boyfriend and she texted to say she was at a restaurant on Sunset Strip and there was a guy 2 tables along that looked and sounded just like James. I told her to go and talk to him but she was nervous to in case it wasn't him, but I persuaded her to try so eventually she did and it WAS him. He hadn't recognised her immediately as it was so out of context (last time they met was a few years back here in London) but he was apparently really pleased and suprised to see her and they had a bit of a chat (he's off to India again next week to his wife's family) and she got a photo with him.
He was sitting with Jamie Bamber but she didn't say more than that, I hope she'll get back to me today with more details. It's such a small world, she only arrived in LA on Wednesday I think and it was her first time there, so to see him like that must have been amazing.
I scanned these awhile ago and posted them in my art/resource journal. I thought you guys would apprecite them. All of these scans are from Jan 19, 2007's Entertainment Weekly.
