What I am shouting out - for those who may not know and who may wish to - is that Beau Brummell - This Charming Man repeats tonight on BBC4 at 23.15

If you missed James Purefoy as the Beau (with Hugh Bonneville as Prinny) you missed a great deal. I loved this when it was first on back in 2007! It's all flirtation, darlings & dandys, breeches & boots.

It's seriously swoon-worthy.

Beau Brummell - This Charming Man won't be on iPlayer and it only seems to be available as a region 1 DVD.

So, tune in or nab it any which way you can.

I don't know if anyone noticed or not, but "George and the Dragon" has been renamed "Dragon Sword" for American television audiences. I finally caught it on the Sci Fi channel, the other evening, (listed as a 'Sci Fi Original.' HA!) so I suspect it'll be around for random viewing pleasure.

If you haven't seen it, keep an eye out! It was awesome. :D

First James movie you ever saw: Technically, Bedrooms & Hallways though I wasn't aware of who he was until ROME.

HOW did you find this LJ community? Was looking for ROME fan fiction communities and saw this one for James.

WHEN did you fall in love with the man? Last night LOL. Seriously! I just got HBO a few days ago and I saw ROME was On Demand. I knew Ray Stevenson is in it and I've adored him since King Arthur. So I watched all the things they have airing.... including the Sex in Rome short. James knocked me out of my shoes as did the show. I went and got the first season on DVD this evening after work and, let's just say, I am flat gobsmacked for James as Mark Antony.

What did it for you, and how did you know it was serious? *mumbles* that scene with Atia from the 2nd episode*mumbles*
He had me at Growl. Groan. Thrust. Growl. Thurst. Repeat.
