An embarrassingly long time ago, a_loquita asked me whether I'd be able to turn my hand to making some Castle iPhone wallpapers. I didn't forget, honest, I've just not really cracked making things in portrait and nothing I've tried has really worked yet (though I'm sure I'll get there... it took me long enough to crack full size wallpapers and also icons when I started on both of those, it's just a matter of getting used to the space). However, I've been feeling bad at my complete failure thus far, and in an attempt to get over this iPhone shaped artists' block, I've gone back to my old Castle wallpapers and cropped/reworked several of them to the iPhone screen dimensions. Hopefully now I might be able to come up with something original!

jumble65, sarai1987 and I just set up a new artwork thread over on Gateworld, called Artwork for All. The idea of the thread is to have a specifically defined multifandom art thread where artworkers from all over GW can come together to share their art, tips, tutorials and resources, and learn from and support each other, no matter what we're making art of. We're also running weekly challenges to kick-start the mojo and encourage people to try things out. It's been up and running for three weeks now and we could not be more delighted at the way it's taken off! If you're an artworker and fancy joining us over there, please do - the more the merrier!

Anyway, the new thread has certainly given my mojo a boot up the backside, and below the cut are the results!
