Am finally swallowing my pride and asking for help. =)
I've installed JWSDP 1.3 on WinME, but when I click the startup.bat file in the bin folder, I get two lines of "Bad command or file name". I've made sure the paths to the bin folders of JWSDP, the SDK & Ant are in my msconfig file, and I've seen into the little memory problem which was expected to happen with WinME. And I am still unable to get the thing running.
Right now I feel a big, painful kick coming, and I can't decide whether to aim it at my machine, or myself. I've got Tomcat working on Win2K machines before, and I don't remember ever getting this much crap. Any answers/suggestions? And ask not why WinME. =(
Just in case no one can help me resolve this quickly, an alternative would be to recommend something else small I can run my JSPs & servlets off - emphasis on "small".
[Edit(6.06am): Got fed up, partitioned drive, installed another OS. JWSDP is now working like a song. *viciously kicks WinME in the nuts*]
