| | 01:42 am - csmajor21 - Intranet Site Hey guys,First of all I know you guys always answer and answer with EXCELLENT feedback. But, I do realize this is off topic and isn't Java related but maybe was hoping someone knew about Web servers. Below is my scenereo :)I am running an IIS server for my webpage on campus. The thing is though this is new and I thought it should work hence it worked at home. Well first off my campus has an account we can use for creating a website. They use Apache which is cool, I use that for my personal webpage. But I want to have a page that can be just viewed by anyone on the network (LAN) or basically I'm saying is i want my site on the IntrAnet. I created my site a little bit, did an ASP search engine I made which Apache doesn't like so that's why I did the project on my server. When I finished I located to http://131.93.23.49/search/search.htm and it worked perfectly for me. But others come up Page Cannot Be Viewed.Why is this? Shouldn't I be able to host it through the intranet. I know it's not a public address thats why anyone off campus couldnt see it. But I just want something on campus. You know?What's wrong here?
