I know we have had recent discussions about preferred IDEs, but I am now wondering what people are using at their jobs, for those of us who do java development at work. (Since one's preferred tool is not always an option.) At my job we are currently considering changing the IDE we use, and we are also looking for a new source control product. If you do java development in a 1) professional and 2) team environment, I'd appreciate it if you could fill out this poll and let me know what you use where you work. What IDE do you use where you work? (or none...) If you use an IDE, the IDE you use is: What source control management do you use where you work? (or none...) If you use SCM, the source control management program you use is: Approximately how many developers are using the above tools at your workplace? If you have anything to say about your choices, feel free to add a comment too. Also, if anyone has any specific comments about either AccuRev, Perforce, Visual SourceSafe, or Clearcase (particularly in conjunction with Websphere Studio Application Developer), I'd appreciate your comments.Thank you! |
