Java developers

10:15 am - jwendl - Might be off topic... I just joined the community and have been developing java applications for the desktop for 3 years now. I have what would hopefully be a very simple question, yet it is eluding me at the moment.Has anyone else ever attempted to install a java runtime on a windows ce device? I just can not find good documentation on how to go about doing this. Also most of the things I read from Sun's website hint at the fact that they will not be developing anything because of the anti-trust case.I know java (blackdown) runs well on familiar with an ipaq, but I am specifically looking for something to run on windows ce.I guess if you need specifics it is a compaq (hp) pocket pc (H3900) running windows CE v 3.0.11171 (build 11178).So far I have tried:EweJeodeCremeand KaffeYet all of these are sdk's to compile a java application in and then run it from their specially made class files. All I am looking for is something simple enough to just run a normally created .class file with.I apologize if this is offtopic of anything and the mod's have my permission to remove this if it is.

| | 11:57 pm - csmajor21 - Copyrights, etc. Hey guys,I got a quickie. I first off attend a University here in Indiana and developed a webpage on there server, no big deal. Recently I found out that this guy from the same university who happens to be a senior (I'm a sophomore if that matters) stole ALL my work on my webpage! The whole design and implementation was developed BY me... on some parts there are word for word things I wrote! The layouts are the exact same, minor changes such as replacing my name with his. Oh, apparently a stupid thing he left was my volunteer work on the webpage which in the source code has my name. I did have a copyright on the bottom of the website for 2003... I don't know if that protects me from anything. My professor has seen this was my design.Does anyone have advice on this or maybe previous experience? I already emailed all the guys in the Computer Center to see what they say. But to me this is plagiarism and is a serious act! What do you guys think??Thanks a lot for reading this and your input is greatly appreciated!PS: Sorry if it's wordy... and not make sense-ish :) | | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
