08:46 am - popcorn09 - CORBA - Exception on using hostname Hi, I get the following exception when I try to use the name of the host on which the naming service and server is running instead of the IP address. >>Exception occured:org.omg.CosNaming.NamingContextPackage.NotFound:IDL:omg.org/CosNaming/NamingContext/NotFound:1.0>>org.omg.CosNaming.NamingContextPackage.NotFound:IDL:omg.org/CosNaming/NamingContext/NotFound:1.0 This means that the naming service is unable to resolve the hostname to the IP address of the machine. Is there a way I can correct this and enable the resolution? Where can I set an option? I am using OpenORB 1.3.0. I am already using -ORB InitRef NameService=corbaloc::hostname:port/NameService and it doesn't work. If I just replace the hostname by IP address it works. I am completely confused! Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
