Jennifer Simard is a two-time Tony Award nominated, distinguished American actress and singer, celebrated for her exceptional contributions to Broadway. Simard's passion for performance emerged early in her life, leading her to pursue a career in theater.

Simard’s Broadway debut came in 2007 playing Rona opposite Mo Rocca in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Her talent quickly gained attention, leading to a string of successful performances in both Broadway and off-Broadway productions. One of her most notable roles was in the 2016 Broadway production of Disaster!, where she played Sister Mary Downy, a nun with a gambling addiction. Her portrayal was met with critical acclaim, earning her a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. This role showcased Simard's unique ability to blend comedy with musical performance, solidifying her reputation as a powerhouse performer.

In addition to Disaster!, Simard's Broadway credits include roles in Mean Girls as Mrs. Heron/Ms. Norbury/Mrs. George, Hello, Dolly! where she played Ernestina, Once Upon a One More Time as the Evil Stepmother, and the 2021 revival of Company, where she took on the role of Sarah. Her performance in Company further highlighted her range as an actress, earning her another Tony Award nomination in 2022.
