There are three key components that are needed to achieve a healthy lifestyle, namely paid work, unpaid work and personal time. Bringing a balance between all these there is the optimum one can accomplish. Power is among the most critical components of infrastructure, crucial for the economic growth and welfare of nations. The existence and development of adequate power infrastructure is essential for sustained growth of the Indian economy. The fundamental principle of India power industry has been to provide universal access to affordable power in a sustainable way. The purpose of this study is to highlight the necessity of adopting work-life balance in a power sector. The paper examines different elements of work-life balance especially with reference to employees working in power sectors.

The demand for electricity in India is enormous and is growing steadily. This growth has been slower than a country’s economic growth. The big challenge of the power industry is to balance the demand and supply of electricity. Financial management involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the financial activities of an organization. Its primary goal is to maximize shareholder wealth and ensure the efficient use of resources. Financial efficiency refers to how effectively an organization utilizes its resources to generate revenue or profits. It involves minimizing costs and maximizing output or outcomes relative to inputs. The financial efficiency of India's power sector is a critical aspect of its energy infrastructure, impacting both economic growth and sustainability. The main needs of the study are the source and use of funds of the company and how to evaluate the financial performance of the company. The objective of this study is to critically evaluate and assess the financial performance of Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh State Limited, Tirupati.

In the 1990s it accounted for around 3% of GDP, but now it is around 2%. The Indian state of Goa has a thriving mining industry as it has a billion tonnes of iron ore reserves. It exports around 30 million tonnes of iron ore per year. Mineral-based industries include the steel industry and heavy machinery industry. These industries also use minerals and metals as raw materials. Performance appraisal systems have become an important tool for companies to evaluate and maximize employee performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of performance appraisal systems. Performance appraisal has become increasingly part of a more strategic approach to integrating HR activities with company policies and is now regarded as a general term covering a range of activities through which companies attempt to evaluate their employees and develop their capabilities to improve performance and reward.

The success of an organization largely depends on its human resources. Human Resource Management ... more The success of an organization largely depends on its human resources. Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a vital role in achieving the organizational objectives. The retail sector has played a phenomenal role in India with a tremendous contribution to the Indian economy. The market after 2021 has been an eye-opening time for the Indian retail sector. The industry saw a decline of 8.5% in FY 2021, but it recovered in 2022 to reach $836 billion with an 81.5% contribution from traditional retail. However, the COVID-19 disruptions led to a rapid increase in e-commerce and digital adoption. Now, brands across segments are concentrating on increased online presence and direct sales as customers continue to shop online. This study concentrates on HR challenges in the retailing industry of the Chennai Region. In this article, the HR practices are analysed through HR planning, training, and selective hiring factors using Chi Square Test, ANOVA, Correlation and Regression. This is an Open Access (OA) journal, and articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 License, which allows others to remix, tweak, and build upon the work non-commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given and the new creations are licensed under the identical terms.

A work environment is defined as the setting within which an individual operates, encompassing th... more A work environment is defined as the setting within which an individual operates, encompassing the milieu surrounding them. It constitutes the social and professional ambiance wherein individuals engage with diverse stakeholders. Undoubtedly, the work environment exerts a profound influence on the performance and productivity of employees. This study provides crucial insights into the myriad factors within the work environment that influence employee performance. Through meticulous examination, this study elucidates the profound impact of the work environment on employee performance, thereby shedding light on critical aspects such as safety protocols, training, and development initiatives, employee welfare measures, monetary incentives, and the quality of supervision provided. Focusing specifically on the production sector, where innovation and efficiency are paramount, the study acknowledges the significance of understanding how workplace dynamics influence employee productivity and satisfaction. With a population size of 950 individuals employed in production roles within Minda Sai Ltd, a sample size of 150 was randomly selected using the simple random sampling method. This approach ensures that a representative cross-section of employees is included in the study, allowing for insightful analysis of the correlation between workplace environment and employee performance. In this study, the demographic factors were analyzed using the percentage method, deviations were assessed through the Chi-square test to determine differences between observed and expected values, the ANOVA test was employed to ascertain any differences between groups on specific variables, and correlation analysis was conducted to examine the linear relationship between two variables.

The primary objective of this study is to meticulously examine the factors contributing to indivi... more The primary objective of this study is to meticulously examine the factors contributing to individual stress, analyze strategies employed by employees to mitigate stress, and ascertain the repercussions of stress. The study aims to discern how team dynamics are affected by elevated stress levels and how these challenges are navigated. The study's scope extends to scrutinizing employee satisfaction during heightened stress, offering insights to the organization regarding the correlation between stress and performance. Employing a descriptive study approach, the research endeavors to address key questions surrounding the who, what, where, and occasionally, how of stress dynamics. Utilizing a meticulously crafted structured questionnaire as the research instrument, findings reveal that a significant proportion of respondents attribute their stress to domestic influences, with a majority expressing ease in relaxation and enjoyment. Noteworthy is the acknowledgment that selfawareness, encompassing strengths and weaknesses, aids stress coping mechanisms.

music industry, many consumers have been purchasing and downloading music over the Internet.
The customer sensitivity is the process by which people select, organize, interpret, retrieve, and
respond to information. The commentary of this study is to find out the factors which power the
Internet consumer’s perception towards e-marketing. This is done with the help of primary data
which were collated for the study.
