He was the grandson of Chandragupta Maurya and the son of the second Maurya Emperor, Bindusara. In his life as a role of monarch and a missionary, he made his period one of the most glorious epochs of Indian history. He was persistently at war during the first eight years of his reign, expanding his empire across the Indian subcontinent. The furious and destructive war of Kalinga left over 100,000 soldiers and civilians dead and more than 150,000 crippled and it created an emotional shock to Ashoka. This large-scale killing of humans revolted Ashoka and thereafter he decided not to fight again and started practicing non-violence. Like her contemporary feminist writers she upholds the cause of women, but she differs from them because her basic concern is to delineate the problems of cross cultural conflicts faced by Indian women immigrants. This is evident by Tara Banerjee in 'The Tiger's Daughter', Dimple in 'Wife', Jyothi in 'Jasmine 'and Devi in 'Leave it to me', three sisters-Padma, Parvathi and Tara in 'Desirable Daughters' and Tara in 'The Tree Bride'. Bharathi Mukherjee's heroines are bold an assertive. They have the strong potentiality for adaptability; they live in the firm ground of reality and accept the bitter truth of their live.

Woman is a mother, a baby, a sister, a wife, a friend, a love and she is many to us. In reality women are compared with beautiful flowers it means as they are sensitive such as flowers. But such women are treated in the society as second class citizens. Comparative to the olden days, in the present day's women are not receiving the prominence and there are no ethical values to the human beings. Instead of giving honor and respect they are ill-treated and humiliated. They get inequality and in justification in the society. Women harassed, teased, groped, sexually embarrassed, brutally beaten everywhere in the world. At offices they are oppressed, and at home they are suppressed. In the colleges they are teased sexually. In the travelling, women are groped publicly. Women are feeling depressed lack of safety and security even with their own family members. It is felt that, where they are safe is in mother's womb and in the burial ground. May be in the burial ground also we can't say exactly, because there are some incidents which took place that some men raped the dead bodies of women by taking them from coffins and most frightened thing is in one place few men raped seven dead bodies of pregnant women. These are the women crisis in the present scenario. Key words: harassed, teased sexually, suppressed, injustice, inequality and oppressed lack of safety and security.

A software engineer or business manager who holds a job in their core might have proven expertise in their fields. These technical skills got through professional education, training and with job experience. These skills are considered as hard skills. In the 21st century it is standing as evident that ‘hard skills’ are merely not enough to get a job or sustain in the positions long time. The technocrats may be competent technically, but majority of them are not able to interact effectively with people in and out of their organizations. Due to this, their technical skills and expertise has been remained unexploited. Therefore, a second set of skills is required for technocrats and business professionals as well, to handle human emotions than hard skills. These skills are referred as soft skills or people skills. Soft Skills refers to a cluster of personality traits, social graces, and facility with language, personal habits and attitudes of friendliness, optimism in one way of balancing both interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. It is remarked that corporate organizations across the globe have realized that soft skills are indispensable for the success in business and are taking enormous efforts by investing in HRD activities designed to foster desire values and attitudes in their employees, in addition to professional knowledge and skills. Competencies are assessed not just on professional skills but on a whole range of soft skills, which determine how well employees of the company can relate to and communicate with others. The growth of the organization and profitability may relay on frequent one to one dealing with customers, depends on the ability of their employees in usage of these skills effectively.
