Hey everyone!

I know, it's been a while since I've made a post here or talked to you guys. I'm sorry about that, and the fact that my first post here in a while has awful news.

So I recently found out (as in an hour ago) that there is a new site (HERE) where someone is reposting old fanfics from people on LJ that weren't friends locked.

I did a search in the searchbar, and it turns out that they've reposted some of my own fanfics without my permission. Now, apparently to get your fics removed all you need to do is add a comment HERE asking and they will, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they reposted them without permission to begin with.

Quite frankly its a bit upsetting. I'm in the process of going through and friends-locking all my old entries on my personal LJ just in case until I figure something out. I wanted to make this post here however to let all of you know about this site so that you can check to see if they've posted anything of yours, and if they have, to get it removed.

There is also a post on tumblr that you can reblog with this information (found HERE) to help signal boost this information to as many fanfic authors as possible. I will be reblogging that post on both of my tumblrs (my main tumblr HERE and my other tumblr HERE for reference) to help signal boost alongside this post I'm making here.

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS SITE. They aren't asking anyone for permission before reposting their works and many people, including myself, are understandably upset. So if you're an author, or know someone who is, go let them know so they can check to see if their works have been posted.
