**10:33 am - JCU Night at Bed, Bath and Beyond**Bed, Bath & Beyond is sponsoring JCU Night on Sunday, August 27 from 7pm-9pm at their Mayfield Heights store. You will receive a coupon at the door for 10% off your entire purchase! Just in time to pick up some of those last minute needs for your room! Door prizes and refreshments will be provided! A shuttle is provided for student who don't have transportation. The first shuttle will depart from the pool entrance of the Rec Plex at 6:45pm and the last will leave the store at 9:15pm. |

On November 4th -5th at Liberty Barn Church (7080 Olentangy River Road Delaware, OH 43015), college students from all over Ohio are meeting to pray and fast for God to intervene in Ohio and cause an awakening. Registration begins at 8:00PM on the 4th, Things will get going with some worship and a speaker at 9:00PM. On Saturday, up by 9AM with more worship, prayer, fellowship, etc and out of the church at 9PM that night. Leaving early or coming late? Come and go as necessary.I would like to remind us all that this is for ALL students in Ohio who believe in and follow Jesus, and would like to pray for His Spirit to sweep across Ohio and on our campuses with revival and awakening! So please let friends at other campuses know about it and let the word spread like wildfire. If you'd like pre-made flyers to hang up on your campuses or in your area, email ohiosparc@yahoo.com Our responsibility lies only in providing the opportunity- paving the way- for people to come. 11:47 amThere's about two weeks left until school starts, so now is a good time to start buying textbooks. It's hard to find online, but here is the JCU Bookstore website (or you can go to www.efollett.com and click on the appropriate state and school). it will let you search for your classes and sections, and tell you which books you need. It's almost always cheaper to get them online, so visit Bigwords or get textbooks to pick them up cheaper than you could at the bookstore. |
