In multi-channel MAC, the attributes of SCH channels are frequency range, frequency limit, power limit, distance covered, and channel performance. Based on these channel properties, messages must be transmitted using the most appropriate channel. Existing multi-channel MAC approaches randomly choose the available SCH channel to transmit the messages. Random selection of the channel leads to over-utilization or under-utilization of channel resources. The channel allocation in the proposed approach reserves the most appropriate SCH and optimizes resource utilization. The proposed variable size TDMA approach for SCH channel allocation considers a large number of contending vehicles with the collision-free allocation of resources. The paper also focuses on reducing the transmission collision and re-usability of the time slot for message transmission. Markovian modeling determines the probability of successfully reserving the time slot and switching to the required SCH. Simulation results prove that the probability of time slot reservation in the required SCH is approximately 0.6 for the proposed approach and approximately 0.2 for other approaches.

Data is consumed when any content is downloaded from the web servers. The effectiveness of any internet service provider depends upon the internet connection speed and the time consumed to download a file. The internet connection speed is not always the same. The speed can sometimes be so slow that downloads are not possible. In a typical organizational setup, different types of files and software applications are downloaded regularly. Downloading the same file multiple times by different people is a wastage of resources. The proposed approach aims to decrease the search and download time. The primary purpose of this study is to ensure the availability of the file for download even if there is poor or no internet connectivity. The paper proposes a Web Crawler-based caching technique that helps resolve the issues mentioned above and makes downloading more efficient.

The Corona Virus Disease (COVID19) was first identified in Wuhan, China, and spread worldwide. The infection was categorized as an acute respiratory syndrome and can cause causality amongst humans if timely treatment is not available. India is amongst the countries worst hit by COVID19. A country with a dense population and diversified weather conditions in different states is dealing with a highly contagious infection. Irregular ups and downs in the cases can be due to the changing temperature all around the year. This study aims to identify the relation between the temperature and the number of cases. For this purpose, the paper calculates the correlation coefficient between the temperate and the number of cases for different states of India. The study aims to analyze if the temperature of these states impacts the daily cases detected. A null hypothesis is subjected to the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient test for analysis, and the results are analyzed.

It makes business to attract more customers by tracking the interest area of the customers. The notification system can be implemented using different approaches. To improve delivery speed and provide full tracking of notifications, we have used the MQTT based mosquitto broker. In this paper, we have implemented push notifications using publish and subscribe facility provided by mosquitto i.e. MQTT based broker. Comparison based on experimental results for MQTT and HTTP has proved that MQTT is better than http for push notification.

In multi-core processors several cores are placed on the single grid and multiple tasks are distributed over these cores for processing [1]. Each core is responsible for the processing of the task allocated to it. This may lead to problems like load balancing on different cores, as various tasks are allocated to the single core. Now if there is a situation that a single core or a cluster of cores have large number of task to be executed while some of the cores remain free then there is a need of a technique called task migration. Task migration is not similar to load balancing in any aspect. In task migration only the migration of the task from overloaded core to other core is done but till now maintaining load balancing during task migration was an issue[2]. But if the load balancing is done at the time of the task migration then it will improve performance about 99%. This paper emphasis on various algorithms for load balancing during task migration in a multi-core system, so that number of tasks on different cores are distributed fairly. This paper also discusses the algorithms for deciding which task is to be migrated. With the help of these algorithms, performance and response time is improved to a great extent.

Usage of inexpensive disk drives that provides higher disk capacity are less reliable. To increase the performance of the storage systems, multiple disk array are used so that different tasks can be executed concurrently. Different RAID levels have been implemented by researchers and are being used worldwide. All RAID levels requires a lot of storage space. If there is duplication in the data, then storing these duplicated data blocks is a wastage of storage space, as it is not required to store duplicated data blocks again and again. In this paper, we have proposed a new method i.e. dDRAID (data Deduplication over RAID Levels) by implementing the technique of deduplication over RAID levels so as to reduce the amount of storage space in order to provide better performance and reliability with maximum storage space available at least amount of cost involved. Implementation of deduplication over RAID levels in the proposed approach utilizes around 50% to 70% of storage space.

NoC (Network-on-chip), provides best solution to SoC by reducing communication overhead. The basic concern of NoC is the speed, performance and accuracy along with the small size of chip. The existing NoC topologies such as mesh topology, bus topology, torus topology, fat tree topology doesn’t provide optimized performance. In this paper, we have proposed CBCT (Communication Based Cluster Topology), which is based on 2H i.e. heterogeneous and hybrid, proves to be more efficient topology by providing better performance due to reduction in latency, link utilization and energy consumption involved during communication. In experimental result, CBCT approach is compared with 2D mesh topology and CBCT proves to provide better results in terms of an end to end latency, network latency, packet latency, sink bandwidth, loss probability, link utilization and energy consumption of a topology.
