Kento Fukamiya (富加宮 賢人, Fukamiya Kento) is a swordsman of the Sword of Logos who transforms into Kamen Rider Espada (仮面ライダーエスパーダ, Kamen Raidā Esupāda) and was the third Kamen Rider Calibur (仮面ライダーカリバー, Kamen Raidā Karibā) for some time before returning as Espada.
History[]
Background[]
Kento Fukamiya is the son of Hayato Fukamiya, a swordsman of the Sword of Logos. During his childhood, Kento was close friends with Touma Kamiyama and Luna. During the crossfire between the Sword of Logos and the Megid fifteen years ago, Kento was seperated from his friends and discovered Kamen Rider Calibur betraying the guild. Since then, Kento formally joined the Sword of Logos and received Raimeiken Ikazuchi, becoming the current Thunder Swordsman, Kamen Rider Espada.
The Thunder Swordsman[]

Fifteen years later, Kento Fukamiya reunited with Touma Kamiyama and arrived at his bookstore atop his magic carpet. Recognizing his friend has no recollection of his memories, Kento thought it would be best to keep his friend in the dark about their past. When Saber and Blades were intercepted by Kamen Rider Calibur, Kento as Kamen Rider Espada came to their aid to rush them to safety. Believing that the Dark Swordsman is still his father, Kento tried to confront Calibur on several occasions to demand answers for his betrayal, much to zero response.

While Touma tried to figure his missing memories, Kento deliberately avoided bringing up their past due to the guilt of his father being responsible for Luna's disappearance. After a Southern Base messenger, Reika Shindai, gave him the Tri Cerberus Wonder Ride Book, Kento forms a pact with Touma and Rintaro Shindo to stick to each other through the end. While the three battled Calibur together, Kento discovers that the Calibur they were fighting all this time was none other than Daichi Kamijo, the previous Saber. The revelation tore Kento into an unstable frenzy, desperate to know the truth about his father.
Kamen Rider Saber: The Phoenix Swordsman and the Book of Ruin[]

When the Immortal Swordsman, Bahato, unleashes his destruction to the world using the Book of Ruin, Kento joined with the Northern Base swordsmen to battle in Wonder World. Kamen Rider Espada engaged the Shimi horde as Saber fought Falchion personally. Kento, intent on fighting to atone humanity's mistakes, wiped out the Shimi army with his fellow Swordsmen before Falchion was sealed away by Saber Emotional Dragon.
Falling into the Darkness[]

During his pursuit for Kamijo, Rintaro warned him that vengeance wasn't the answer, but Kento refused to listen. He became more irrational after seeing Kamijo and Sophia together, accusing the Sword of Logos did something to his father. After Rintaro was injured after defending Kento from Calibur Jaoh Dragon, Kento lamented the fact that he failed both Touma and Luna, before leaving to confront Kamijo once and for all. Unbeknownst to Kento, Rintaro was listening to his monologue while he resting. As he attempted to settle things with Daichi Kamijo, Espada was no match against Calibur Jaou Dragon. By the time Touma regained his memories, Kento was placed in critical condition.

With Kento's condition becoming worse due to the effects of Ankokuken Kurayami's darkness, the Kamen Riders rushed to battle Calibur Jaoh Dragon in order to save their teammate. When an injured Rintaro is about to be cut down by Calibur's blade, Espada shielded him which further worsened his condition. Even after Touma acquired the power of Dragonic Knight and defeated Calibur Jaou Dragon, Kento began to succumb to the effects of darkness. While surrounded by his fellow swordsmen in his final moments, Kento disappeared into dark miasma and sealed into the Ankokuken Kurayami.
Crusade To Seal Every Seiken[]

While sealed within Ankokuken Kurayami, Kento had to repeatedly live through several timelines where the Seiken coming together resulted in the world's destruction. Determined to seal away the Seiken to prevent the end of the world, Kento broke free from his sealing and became the next Kamen Rider Calibur, inheriting his father's power and sword. As Calibur, he appeared to stop Touma from going berserk as Saber Primitive Dragon before immediately taking his leave.

Kento returns after his disappearance.
His identity would be uncovered by his former teammates after Kamen Rider Sabela stormed the Northern Base. Instead of a happy reunion, Kento revealed his intent to seal away all the Seikens and declared that he was the only one to protect the world. While he later engages by Yuri and Reika Shindai, Kento is confronted by Touma and tells him that no matter what outcome, the world will be destroyed unless every Seiken is sealed. After sealing Onjuuken Suzune, Kento makes his leave as Touma went shortly berserk under the Primitive Dragon transformation, showing how correct Kento's newfound foresight was.

Kento would continue to observe in the background as Legeiel Forbidden attacked the city. However, Kento was surprised by a sudden change of events that Ankokuken Kurayami had failed to predict, such as Touma's evolution into Saber Elemental Primitive Dragon after taming the Primitive Dragon. Despite this change, Kento remained resolute in his goal of sealing every Seiken, as he later proceeded to seal one of the blades of Fuusouken Hayate, much to the anger of Ren Akamichi for his betrayal.

While Touma and Rintaro faced against Kamen Rider Durendal in the Southern Base, Kento took the opportunity to rescue Sophia and returns her back to the Northern Base. While observing Blades' battle against Zooous, Kento confided with Sophia he envisioned Rintaro's death. However, this fate is averted after Rintaro further mastered the Suiseiken Nagare and separated Mei from the Neko Megid, another future that Ankokuken Kurayami failed to predict.
War against Master Logos[]

While Touma finds Kento at their childhood meeting spot, he sets up a small picnic between friends so they could try to work together once more. Although Kento tried to leave after seeing a vision of Touma's death which becomes the only future for the world to be saved, they got interrupted by Master Logos. Realizing that this man was responsible for Kento's father corruption, they both fight Master Logos, in which causes Touma to breach a portal and seeing Luna. While Touma attempts to bring back Luna, this causes Master Logos to reawaken Kamen Rider Falchion, Bahato, in response.

While Touma is later able to free Luna, Kento still hesitates in rejoining his friends. However, Luna is kidnapped by Master Logos who wishes to use her for his ritual. While Kento as Calibur is persistent in sealing the remaining Seiken, he would lose Ankokuken Kurayami and his Wonder Ride Books after protecting Ren from Bahato. While Touma managed to foil Master Logos' ritual to summon the Almighty Book, Kento was seen standing over Raimeiken Ikazuchi and Ankokuken Kurayami, opting to take the latter as a keepsake from his father. However, Master Logos is able to obtain a portion of the Almighty Book and transform into Kamen Rider Solomon, who prove to be a formidable adversary.

Although Kento recognized Touma's efforts in changing the future, he could still see the disaster that could unfold despite Yuri and Sophia's attempts to reach out to him. Kento tried to settle things alone by sacrifice himself to defeat Solomon, only to be stopped by Touma. Touma later left behind Raimeiken Ikazuchi for him and assured he won't disappear. Kento would later reunite with his father, Hayato Fukamiya, who had survived his last battle fifteen years ago and watching over his son. As both father and son embrace, Kento was motivated to follow his heart and resolved to standing alongside the other swordsmen against Solomon. Kento beared witness to Haouken Xross Saber's creation and the arrival of Kamen Rider Xross Saber. Choosing to rejoin with his friends, Kento was welcomed back by his teammates and resumes weilding Raimeiken Ikazuchi.

One day, Touma was sent to the world of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger
with Mei Sudo and Yuri as a result of Asmodeus' awakening. As a result of Shotaro Ishinomori's dissatisfaction, Kento was among the heroes who vanished. He would also appear in the peaceful world without Kamen Rider Saber, living a normal life with his friends and his father, until Touma chose to forsake that world.
When Asmodeus raised more monsters, Touma and Shotaro arrived with their latest creations. Touma unveils Super Hero Senki, while Shotaro unveils Kamen Rider 1 and Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, allowing the Kamen Riders and Sentai Rangers to remanifest. Kento as Kamen Rider Espada joins his fellow swordsmen, the Kamen Riders, and the Super Sentai to battle Asmodeus's forces, emerging victorious in the ensuing battle.
Final Battle against Solomon[]

Kento would continue to stand alongside Touma against Solomon. He continued to accompany Touma as they and Rintaro entered Wonder World to save Luna from Master Logos. Despite Solomon's attempts to control him, Blades, and Saikou against Saber, Espada manages to break free. Kento lends Xross Saber the power of Lamp do Alangina to access Featuring Saber. With the powers of Brave Dragon, Lion Senki, and Lamp do Alangina, they were able to finally vanquish Solomon and shatter the Omni Force Wonder Ride Book. In the aftermath of Master Logos' defeat, Kento joins with Touma and Rintaro as they crossed their Seikens having fulfilling their promise to each other.
Storious' Endgame[]

Though they were victorious against Master Logos, Storious began to enact his plan to destroy the world. Following Tassel's death, the destruction of World World began affecting Earth. Rintaro participated in minimizing the disaster, but Storious grew stronger after becoming Kamen Rider Storious, ressurecting the Four Sages in the process as his loyal followers.

Kento and Touma reunite with Luna, having magically aged into an adult. He promises that he will succeed in protecting the world and his friends. Together with the rest of his comrades, Kamen Rider Espada joins the swordsmen as they storm Storious' Tower of Destruction. Rintaro engaged of a Lord of Wise, while covering for Touma as he reached Storious' chamber. Although he succeeded in defeating it, the battle was too exhausting for Kento, causing him to pass out and it was only Yuri's healing ability that allowed him to stand up.

Kento arrived in Storious' chamber to protect Touma with Rintaro. He would bear witness to the creation of the Wonder Almighty. Kento transforms into Kamen Rider Espada and with the help of Saber and Blade, they defeat Storious. As the world began to disintegate, Kento and Rintaro were forced to witness Touma's death as the world disappeared around them. However, once Touma became the Guardian of Wonder World, Kento was amoung the populace resurrected in the restored Earth.
One Year Later[]

One year later, Kento takes Touma's place as the new owner of Fantastic Bookstore Kamiyama. Upon hearing word that the missing victims that were unaccounted for had suddenly returned, Kento joined up with most of Touma's friends as they reunited with their missing friend once more.
Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations[]
Fenix's Kamen Riders and the Sword of Logos
As the demon Diablo emerged to threaten the Earth's future, this leads to Fenix's Kamen Riders and the Sword of Logos joining forces. They would also encounter time-displaced Shocker scientist Ryunosuke Momose, who sought to make amends with Hideo, his young son he left behind in 1971, who is now an adult man in 2021.

While Touma, Rintaro, Yuri, Vice, Daiji, and Sakura go to the future, he stayed behind in the present to battle Edison Crisper on Easter Island, fighting alongside Ren until Kento was left to battle on his own. Once everyone was able to return, Kento would be assisted by Kamen Rider Live to defeat Edison Crisper.
Kamen Rider Saber: Trio of Deep Sin[]
Eight years after saving the world, Kento settled a new life as a book translator and looks forward to getting married to Yuina Tachibana. Unbeknownst to Kento, the multiple swordsmen within the Sword of Logos have begun to disappear, causing Kento to forget about his allies. While out on a walk, Kento is attacked by the white Kamen Rider Falchion, but he was able to escape after Kento is able to injure his opponent after briefly swiping Mumeiken Kyomu away.
After rushing back home, Kento discovers that Yuina was the white Falchion who had attacked him. She reveals that years ago, her fiancé was a victim during one of Espada’s fights, harboring revenge on him. This revelation left Kento running out of the house in disbelief. The next day, Kento meets Yuina at a wedding chapel and he transforms into Espada. Kento resolved to liberate Yuina, unlocks Arabiana Night and defeats her. However, Mumeiken Kyomu turns on her and fatally penetrates her abdomen. As Yuina shuts herself behind a door, she tells Kento about how she genuinely fell in love with him after all these years and passes away, resulting in Kento’s erasure.
After Mamiya rewrote reality, the events that followed the last eight years were undone and Kento was restored back to life. He came across Yuina after she dropped a copy of Aladdin and the Magic Lamp. While she but tried to walk away, Kento revealed he too possessed the same book and asked Yuina if she was interested in having coffee someday.

Kamen Rider Espada Lamp Do Alangina in Battle Spirits
It is the seventeenth collaboration pack and the eighth collaboration with the Kamen Rider franchise. CB17 was released in Japan on March 27th 2021. This set included Spirit, Nexus, and Magic cards in all six colors. Kamen Rider Espada Lamp Do Alangina is a playable character in Battle spirits with other Kamen Riders.

Personality[]
While Kento seems kind and quiet on the outside, he is a heroic man who cares for the welfare, lives, and safety of other innocent people. However, underneath all this is someone who often fights against his own inner conflicts within himself, which is presented as his greatest flaw. He is unable to be open with them, always attempting to resolve them on his own. This is shown when he recklessly fights Daichi Kamijo to find out why his father betrayed the guild, although this made him a candidate for Ankokuken Kurayami's corruption. As such, Kento often blames himself for the events that were clearly out of his control, such as Luna's disappearance and Touma's memory loss. This tendency would change after a heart-to-heart with his father, who advises him to trust in his friends and don't solve anything on his own.
As the third Calibur, Kento has become cold and bitter as a result of his time trapped inside Ankokuken Kurayami, which forced him to experience multiple futures regarding the world's destruction. As a result, he became determined to carry out his mission to save the world from its dark future. Carrying over from before his breakdown, Kento remains stubborn and adamant that the future cannot change. However since being proven wrong by Touma on many occasions, Kento has changed his viewpoints regarding changing the future. Unfortunately, Kento's breakdown from Kurayami lead him to fear and keeps on doubting Touma's capability to break the prediction of the sword despite Yuri's warning to not completely depending on the sword. This is proven further after Isaac had retrieved Omni Force, Kento was seen to smile and hope that the future was able to be changed, only to terrify Kento again when he viewed the same horrible future. At the same time, he believes that by acting alone in his resistance against the Southern Base, he can protect his former friends.
Despite voicing his disinterest in rejoining them, he has shown some implication regarding the opposite such as rescuing Sophia and smiling at Mei's homemade pin of him. He had briefly considered picking up Ikazuchi, but its own worthiness of wielding it was overtaken by his familial attachment to Kurayami, a keepsake of his late father.[2] This would later change after meeting his revived father, who reaffirmed his faith in his friends, allowing him to regain his confidence to reclaim Ikazuchi and return to being the heroic swordsman he once was. Kento would not forget the painful path he walked by retaining his bright undershirt during his time rogue.[3]

- Portal Creation: As Calibur, Kento can summon portals to travel between locations. This also allows him to travels in and out the place protected by Book Gate, such as where Sophia is held captive in Southern Base.
- Seiken Sealing: Using the Ankokuken Kurayami, Kento can seal other Seiken. This was first demonstrated when he sealed Onjuuken Suzune. However, the ritual to summon the Almighty Book seems capable of undoing the seal, as every rider had their power restored afterwards. As the sword had sealed him away once, it is possible that Kento can seal humans away as well.
- Precognition: Due to wielding the Ankokuken Kurayami, Kento can see visions of possible futures. This was first shown when he learned that uniting all of the Seiken would destroy the world while was trapped within the sword. He was also able to foresee his fight against Yuri and Touma. However, as these are simply collections of possible futures, his predictions can be (but can't always be) averted and is not always accurate, such as when Touma obtained the Elemental Dragon Wonder Ride Book, and when Rintaro tapped into the full potential of his Seiken. After giving up Kurayami, Kento will still receive visions to a certain extent, though not enough to disturb his quality of life.

- Expert Swordsman: As a former member of the Sword of Logos, Kento is a trained swordsman, demonstrating his mastery at using Raimeiken Ikazuchi and later Ankokuken Kurayami when fighting his enemies or opponents.
- Power Strain Resistance: Unlike Touma and Rintaro, Kento did not suffer from any visible power strain immediately after using Golden Alangina.
- Bilingualism: Kento is seen translating an English transcript of The Arabian Knights to Japanese.

Lamp Do Alangina (ランプドアランジーナ, Ranpu Do Aranjīna) is Espada's _Aladdin_-based primary form accessed by using the Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book in the Seiken Swordriver.
Espada has stats similar to those of Saber and Blades. Of the three Riders, Espada's punching power and kicking power are the second highest, while he has the highest maximum jump height. However, his speed is the lowest of the three.
Lamp Do Alangina consists of the following parts:
- Espada Helm Lamp Do Alangina (エスパーダヘルム ランプドアランジーナ, Esupāda Herumu Ranpu Do Aranjīna): The helmet.
- Sword Crown (ソードクラウン, Sōdo Kuraun): The blade on the forehead. It is installed on the top of the head as a proof of being selected by a Seiken. It has the role of adjusting the state of Kamen Rider Espada and the Seiken, and adjusts the power balance between them and cancels transformation in an emergency. It is also a blade with a sharp edge, and can also be used in battle.
- Alangina Mask (アランジーナマスク, Aranjīna Masuku): The left mask on the helmet. By gaining the power of the Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book, the user can control the illusionary power of the Lamp Spirit "Lamp Do Alangina".
- Psyplasma Visor (サイプラズマバイザー, Saipurazuma Baizā): The visor. It allows the user to see in the dark, penetrates evil and numbs the subject.
- Mid Mask (ミッドマスク, Middo Masuku): The helmet's center mask. It has the property of enhancing the physical ability of the user, and by exerting the power of the Wonder Ride Book contained in the midshelf of the Seiken Swordriver, it exerts various abilities. It is said to be particularly compatible with animal-based Wonder Ride Books.
- Right Mask (ライトマスク, Raito Masuku): The right mask on the helmet. It has the property of strongly acting on the sword technique of the user, and exerts various abilities by applying the power of the Wonder Ride Book stored in the light shelf of the Seiken Swordriver. In particular, it is said to be compatible with the God Beast-based Wonder Ride Books.
- Sword Robe (ソードローブ, Sōdo Rōbu): The suit granted by the user of the Seiken "Raimeiken Ikazuchi". It is attached at the same time as the awakening of the Seiken, and gives the user the power to fight such as improving sword skills, strengthening physical abilities, and activating special abilities. This characteristic is assigned to the left half of the body, which is based on the story of "Lamp Do Alangina", the center of the body, and the right half of the body.
- Lamp Do Bauld (ランプドボールド, Ranpu Do Bōrudo, Play on "Lamp Do Pauldron"): The left shoulder. It has the power of the story "Lamp Do Alangina" and summons the illusionary lamp spirit "Lamp Do Alangina".
- Sufaram Mail (スファーラムメイル, Sufāramumeiru): The left half of the suit. The armor sports the "Arcana Shade" (アルカナシェード, Arukana Shēdo) cape that allows the user to generate an energy shield to deflect attacks.
- Splendi Gaunt (スプレンディガント, Supurendi Ganto, Play on "Splendid Gauntlet"): The left arm. By softening the body, superhuman action is possible and a splendid technique is shown.
- Ride Mid (ライドミッド, Raido Middo): The center portion of the suit. It has the property of enhancing the physical ability of a transformer, and by exerting the power of the Wonder Ride Book contained in the midshelf of the Seiken Swordriver, it exerts various abilities. It is said to be particularly compatible with animal-based Wonder Ridebooks.
- Ride Leg (ライドレッグ, Raido Reggu): The legs and feet of the suit. Due to the characteristics of the "Ride Mid" in the central part of the armor "Sword Robe", overall leg strength such as running power, jumping power and kicking power has been greatly enhanced.
- Ride Right (ライドライト, Raido Raito): The right half of the suit. It has a characteristic that strongly affects the activation of special abilities by the users, and exerts various abilities by putting the power of the Wonder Ride Book contained in the left shelf of the Seiken Swordriver. It is said to be particularly compatible with the story-based Wonder Ride Book.
- Ride Arm (ライドアーム, Raido Āmu): The right arm. The exterior of the armor "Sword Robe" is laminated armor called "Page Armor" (ページアーマー, Pēji Āmā), which is formed by stacking trained plate armor in multiple layers. As a result, it has acquired strong defense and the flexibility to follow various actions.

- Trueno Destroder (トルエノ・デストローダ, Torueno Desutorōda, lit. Shattered Thunder): Espada runs at the enemy at high speeds before delivering a series of slashing attacks. Shortly afterwards, a lightning bolt strikes the target, finishing them.
- Shutoku Issen (習得一閃, Shūtoku Issen, Lit. "Learning Flash"): Espada scans a Wonder Ride Book against the tip of the blade and performs an attack using its power.
* Tri Cerberus Shutoku Issen (トライケルベロス習得一閃, Torai Keruberosu Shūtoku Issen, Lit. "Tri Cerberus Learning Flash"): Espada delivers a slash that summons a lightning energy projection resembling Cerberus. The projection then rams into the enemy.

Lamp Do Hedgehog (ランプドヘッジホッグ, Ranpu Do Hejjihoggu) is Espada's Aladdin and hedgehog-based form, accessed by using the Lamp Do Alangina and Needle Hedgehog Wonder Ride Book in the Seiken Swordriver.[6]
In this form, Espada’s punching and kicking power go up by around 1.3 fold compared to his main form, and his running speed is higher.
Lamp Do Hedgehog adds the following parts:
- Espada Helm Lamp Do Hedgehog (エスパーダヘルム ランプドヘッジホッグ, Esupāda Herumu Ranpu Do Hejjihoggu): The helmet.
- Needle Hedgehog Mask (ニードルヘッジホッグマスク, Nīdoru Hejjihoggu Masuku): The center mask. It possesses the Needle Blonde (ニードルブロンド, Nīdoru Burondo), which allows the user to sense danger and launch spikes at the enemy.
- Hedgehog Breas (ヘッジホッグブレス, Hejjihoggu Buresu): The chest armor. It possesses the power of the animal "Needle Hedgehog" and grants the user hedgehog quills for offensive and defensive purposes.
- Needmail (ニードメイル, Nīdomeiru, short for "Needle Mail"): The center armor. The armor deployed to the front attacks and defends by generating quills. In addition, the quills form a sphere by spreading and wrapping all over the whole body.
- Dig Sault (ディグソルト, Digu Soruto): The legs and feet of the suit. It provides the user piercing power like a hedgehog, and the ability to dive deep into the ground by tunneling.

- Trueno Mill Lanza (トルエノ・ミル・ランザ, Torueno Miru Ranza, lit. Thunder Thousand Spear): Espada summons an apparition of a Djinn covered in quills before jumping up towards the enemy, piercing them with his sword. As he does so, the djinn shoots its quills at the target before disappearing. Espada then dives back down for a downward slash that finishes the target.
- Shutoku Issen (習得一閃, Shūtoku Issen, Lit. "Learning Flash"): Espada scans a Wonder Ride Book against the tip of the blade and performs an attack using its power.

Golden Alangina (ゴールデンアランジーナ, Gōruden Aranjīna) is Espada's Aladdin, hedgehog, and Cerberus-based form accessed by using the Tri Cerberus, Needle Hedgehog and Lamp Do Alangina Wonder Ride Book in the Seiken Swordriver.
In this form, Espada surpasses his previous forms, which unlike Touma and Rintaro did not feel fatigue when using his three-book compatible form. It has also been shown to be able to stand up to Daichi Kamijo as Calibur. Later on he was shown to be even able to fight in par against Riders with stats many times higher than his, such as Kamen Rider Solomon
Golden Alangina adds on the following parts:

It is an iron-walled armor that does not allow anything to pass through, and the cloak Catena Croquette (カテーナクローケ, Katēna Kurōke) with the ability to expand itself to capture a target. - Cerberus Bracer (ケルベロスブレーサー, Keruberosu Burēsā): The right arm. This Wonder Combo further enhances the user's strength. In addition, you can peel off the fangs like the God Beast "Tri Cerberus" and increase the sword technique that the user unleashes into a sharp triple attack.

- Trueno del Sol (トルエノ・デル・ソル, Torueno Deru Soru, lit. Thunder of the Sun): Has three variations:
* Espada charges the Raimeiken Ikazuchi with lightning energy and delivers a thunder enhanced slash to the enemy.
* Espada disappears in a flash of light, dashing forward in a straight line at high speeds and destroying enemies in his path in the form of a long streak of lightning. Afterward, he swings the Raimeiken Ikazuchi, launching a barrage of energy hedgehog quills into enemies above.
* Espada charges the Raimeiken Ikazuchi with yellow lightning and runs at the enemy at high speeds before delivering a slash attack. - Trueno del Viento (トルエノ・デル・ヴィエント, Torueno Deru Vu~iento, Lit. "Thunder of the Wind"): Espada activates the finisher by inserting the Sarutobi Ninjaden Wonder Ride Book, and charges the Raimeiken in golden energy. He then dashed at high speeds, leaving a trail of golden wind. He then does a nukber of slashes at high speed, before stabbing the enemy and pulling his sword out, cauisng the enemy to explode.

Jaaku Dragon (ジャアクドラゴン, Jaaku Doragon) is Calibur's dragon-based primary form accessed by using the Jaaku Dragon Wonder Ride Book in the Jaken Caliburdriver.
Calibur has the highest stats out of all the Riders in the series at the time of his debut. His running speed is only second to Kenzan and his punching and kicking power is higher than Buster's.. Even in his Jaaku Dragon form, Calibur is able to fight on par with Saber’s Primitive Dragon forms.
Jaaku Dragon consists of the following parts:
- Calibur Helm Jaaku Dragon (カリバーヘルム ジャアクドラゴン, Karibā Herumu Jaaku Doragon): The helmet.
- Sword Crown (ソードクラウン, Sōdo Kuraun): The blade on the forehead. It is installed on the top of the head as a proof of being selected by the Jaken. It has the role of adjusting the state of Kamen Rider Calibur and the Jaken, and adjusts the power balance between them and cancels transformation in an emergency. It is also a blade with a sharp edge, and can also be used in battle.
- Jaaku Scale (ジャアクスケイル, Jaaku Sukeiru): The right mask on the helmet. Inheriting the sensing ability of the God Beast "Jaaku Dragon", the sense of the transformant has been sharpened.

In this form, Calibur far surpasses all forms appeared as of its debut, even outperforming a Wonder Combo form. This form also grants levitation abilities and he also gains the ability to transform into a ball of dark miasma.

It possesses the power of the new God Beast "Jaou Dragon", which was created as a reigning existence at the top of many evil dragons, and supplies the user with enhanced darkness power and bringing overwhelming combat power.
- Jaou Mantle (ジャオウマント, Jaou Mantou): The cape. Grants the user to power of flight by emitting an aura of darkness. Also, by wrapping the whole body with an aura, it can be completely blended into the darkness.

* Calibur summons a large purple dragon bites the enemy and smashes them into the wall before transforming into a spherical purple energy field, securing the target in place. Calibur then performs a 360 degree purple energy slash to attack other surrounding enemies.
* Calibur stabs another Seiken's emblem with Ankokuken Kurayami, causing red chains to appear around it. This results in the Seiken's power being sealed, indicated by the blackened emblem and accents on the weapon.
* Calibur rushes towards the enemy and delivers a horizontal slash.
* Calibur delivers an upward purple energy slash at close range before charging for a short period and swinging the Ankokuken Kurayami downward, launching a larger energy slash projectile. Both attacks produce a shockwave of purple energy upon striking the enemy.
- Jaou Hissatsu Geki (ジャオウ必殺撃, Jaou Hissatsu Geki, Lit. "Evil King Finishing Strike"): Has four variations.

- Hayato/Kamen Rider Calibur (I): Kento's father, who was believed to have betrayed the Sword of Logos which is confirmed by Daichi himself after the latter did kill him as he noticed that the Sword of Logos was the one who made Hayato corrupted and for him wanting to sacrifice Luna. Kento would later find himself trusting him again after a heart-to-heart with him.

- Luna: Kento's childhood friend. She was prepared to be sacrificed by Kento's corrupted father as the key to connect both Earth and Wonder World before she was trapped in the other world due to Touma being unable to save her.
- Touma Kamiyama/Kamen Rider Saber (II): Kento and Touma are childhood friends. According to Kento, a huge chunk of Touma's memories regarding Wonder World are missing. Yet despite that, Touma still cares and looks out for him as his friend. Touma little by little begins to recover part of his memories, remembering his time with Kento and Luna. After he returned as Calibur, Kento is influenced by the visions of the future shown by the Ankokuken Kurayami, becoming much more distant towards Touma in the process. However, he's still willing to explain his reasoning to Touma, and didn't forget about their promise to be together again with Luna. As a sign that he still care for Touma and the others, in one moment he told Touma that Primitive Dragon wouldn't hurt anyone which really happen. He would later be able to trust Touma again after a heart-to-heart with Hayato, becoming his true best friend once again.
- Rintaro Shindo/Kamen Rider Blades (II): After seeing that Kento was desperate to find out what happened to his father and wanting to find Daichi for answers, Rintaro wants to stop him from doing something crazy, telling him that the Sword of Logos are family and should not act that way. Rintaro also sacrifices himself to save him from Daichi's attack, being seriously injured by that action. When seeing Kento was alive and was the new Calibur, Rintaro was surprised.
- Mei Sudo: Seeing that Rintaro was injured because of him, she criticizes his actions. Unlike Touma, Kento casually calls her Mei

- Touma Kamiyama's team:
- Sophia/Kamen Rider Calibur (IV): Kento's mentor and mystic of the Sword of Logos. After seeing Sophia along with Daichi, however, Kento misinterpreted things, thinking that he had to do with the disappearance of his father. He is the one who rescued her from the Southern Base. After Kento admitted he wanted to believe in Touma, Sophia appeared and helped him remove any hesitation in doing so.
- Ryo Ogami/Kamen Rider Buster (II): Kento and Ryo prove to have a close relationship due to the fact that Ryo was friends with his father. Although he still respects him following his defection, Kento is much more willing to hurt him and Tetsuo if it means saving the world.
- Ren Akamichi/Kamen Rider Kenzan (II): Fellow member of the Sword of Logos until Ren's defection to the southern base. Ren is surprised and overjoyed to find out that Kento was alive but is the new Calibur. Before Kento succeed on sealing his Seiken (only sealing one of the blades), Kento apologized to hit for it.
- Tetsuo Daishinji/Kamen Rider Slash: Mechanic and fellow member of the Sword of Logos until Kento's defection. Although he still respects him, Kento is much more willing to hurt him and Ryo if it means saving the world. After Onjuuken was sealed, Kento didn't attack Tetsuo.
- Yuri/Kamen Rider Saikou: Upon meeting Yuri, he decides to face Kento because Touma and the other swordsmen had doubt to face him, due to the relationship they share, except for him.
- Reika Shindai/Kamen Rider Sabela: Reika is in charge of helping Kento in his fight against Calibur.[10] However, upon his return as Calibur, Reika sees him as an enemy.
- Ryoga Shindai/Kamen Rider Durendal: Due to his affiliation with Master Logos, Ryoga is considered Kento's true enemy. However, he had since abandoned this view after Isaac becomes a bigger threat.

- Daichi Kamijo/Kamen Rider Saber (I)/Kamen Rider Calibur (II): He thought of him as his father Hayato Fukamiya, but Calibur couldn't care less about Touma or Kento. After learning that it is not his father but Daichi Kamijo, the former Saber, he wants to find out what happened to his father until he was defeated by Daichi as Kento's body disappears due to the effect of Jaou Dragon and Ankokuken Kurayami.
- Master Logos/Isaac/Kamen Rider Solomon: Isaac is considered by Kento as his true enemy due to the threat he posed to the world as a whole.
- Bahato/Kamen Rider Falchion (I): Fought him as Espada and later as Calibur.

- Kento Fukamiya is portrayed by Ryo Aoki (青木 瞭, Aoki Ryō).
- As Kamen Rider Espada, his suit actor is Yuji Nakata (中田 裕士, Nakata Yūji) in his first full-time heroic Rider role.[11]. Nakata also suit-acts for when Kento becomes Kamen Rider Calibur.
Etymology[]
- As with the naming scheme of all the Saber Riders, Espada is named after the rapier, known to the Portuguese and Spanish as espada ropera, which literally means "dress sword", as it was often used as an accessory for clothing, either as fashion or self-defense.
- As with the surname scheme of other members of Sword of Logos, Kento's surname, Fukamiya, contains a homophone of the kanji Kami (神, Kami) meaning "god" or "deity".

Kento's original hairstyle in the early promotional material
- Kento was originally shown in promotional trailers and in the prologue with reddish brunette hair instead of his in-show darker hair color.
- Kento's revival as Calibur had been foreshadowed a few times since his "death" in Episode 13.
- Kento disappeared from Ankokuken Kurayami's darkness, instead of dying immediately, and appeared to have remained within the Seiken.
- The suit actor for Calibur that appeared in Episode 24 is credited as Yuji Nakata, Espada's suit actor.
- Arabiana Night's suit is modified and recolored from Primitive Dragon, with the helmet being an altered design of Golden Alangina. The color of Arabiana Night's suit is blue and gold.
