Kiriya Kujo (九条 貴利矢, Kujō Kiriya), also spelt as Kiriya Kujyo, is a medical examiner of Seito University Hospital who transforms into Kamen Rider Lazer (仮面ライダーレーザー, Kamen Raidā Rēzā), and later Kamen Rider Lazer Turbo (仮面ライダーレーザーターボ, Kamen Raidā Rēzā Tābo) after his revival as a Bugster.

Kiriya Kujo was a coroner who worked at the Medical Examiner's Office. In 2011, he discovered through files obtained from the Ministry of Health that his friend, Jungo Aihara, afflicted with the Bugster Virus. When Jungo was informed that his illness was life-threatening, he was terribly upset and left the room, which led to Jungo ending up killed in a traffic accident. Kiriya blamed himself for Jungo's death and realized telling the truth might not always be the best thing to do.

He had since then become intent to figure out the origins of the Bugster Virus to find closure. 2 years later, Kiriya Kujo became aware of Zero Day. Confronting the Genm Corp. CEO, Kuroto Dan, about this information, he blackmailed him into giving him a Gamer Driver and the Bakusou Bike Gashat in exchange for his silence. With the belt and Gashat, he can transform into Kamen Rider Lazer.

Lazer's first team-up with Ex-Aid.
In October 2016, Kiriya Kujo appeared at the Mighty Action X launch party following the Bugster's rampage, voicing himself things were getting interesting. From afar, Kiriya continues observing the Kamen Riders until he finally meets Emu Hojo. He asks Emu to save his colleague Yoshitaka Nishiwaki in exchange of regaining Mighty Action X Gashat from Taiga Hanaya. When Lazer advances to Level 2, he takes the form of a racing bike, but is unable to reach his full potential unless riden by a Kamen Rider. Kiriya teamed up with Emu to defeat the Motors Bugster, but quickly turned against Emu to obtain a Bugster sample to examine, only for the "Black Ex-Aid" to destroy it.
First appearance of Lazer Chambara Bike Gamer Level 3
Whenever Kiriya made his presence among CR, he would often lie to them in order to keep them in the dark. After Genm Corp.'s four new Gashats were stolen, Kiriya allegedly stated that the Gashat thief is the Black Ex-Aid, only to turn out to not be Graphite. He claims that it is sometimes necessary to lie in order to make things better. Kiriya does work with Emu for another time to obtain the Giri Giri Chambara Gashat. He would attempt to expose the Black Ex-Aid as Kuroto Dan, only for his opponent to fool everyone into thinking he lied to everyone again.

While he confronted Kuroto Dan, Kiriya questions why he's colluding with the Bugsters. Kuroto claims to search for the Bugsters' origins, while cluing Kiriya that Emu didn't undergo compatibility surgery. Kiriya began looking into Emu Hojo's unique condition, even researching the childhood surgery performed by Kyotaro Hinata. During Christmas Eve, Kiriya saved Emu from Drago Knight Hunter Z's influence and reaffirmed his trust. Kuroto would later reveal himself to the Doctor Riders as the "Black Ex-Aid", and christened himself as Kamen Rider Genm, proving Kiriya was telling the truth.

On Christmas Day, Kiriya meets Kuroto's father, Masamune Dan, in prison. He learned the true origins of the Bugster Virus and the truth regarding Emu's unique condition. When he gathers the doctors to disclose the information, Kuroto arrives to trick Kiriya into using the Dangerous Zombie Gashat, before transforming with it himself as Genm Zombie Gamer Level X to destroy Lazer in battle, seconds before the Doctor Riders arrived. As his body digitizes, Kiriya in his final moments entrusts Emu his Gamer Driver along with the responsibility to change the world's fate, before dissolving into data that Christmas night.
The Patient Zero Conspiracy[]
The death of Kiriya Kujo had severely impacted the Doctor Riders, in particular Emu Hojo, who initially couldn't focus on the work which led to him accessing Mighty Brothers XX that allowed him a winning edge against Genm. Hiiro Kagami and Taiga Hanaya grew more suspicious of Kuroto Dan as Kiriya would learn that he infected Emu with the Bugster Virus sixteen years ago and Patient Zero.
Before his death, Kiriya left behind valuable data on reprogramming to counteract the Bugster infection. It was revealed that he was looking for a way to stop the Bugsters by searching for the very first strain, which turned out to be Emu. He stored the information in his personal laptop, which his colleague Yoshitaka later hand to Hiiro. The program was later used as the main function of the Maximum Mighty X Gashat, which would be used by Emu to access Maximum Gamer Level 99 and defeat Genm.
Revival as Lazer Turbo[]

During the Kamen Rider Chronicle crisis, Masamune Dan seized the Proto Gashats and forced Hiiro Kagami by his side. After Hiiro obtains Kiriya's Gamer Driver from Emu, Masamune demonstrates his ability to restore deleted victims by reviving Kiriya as his "left-hand man". Kiriya is given a new Bakusou Bike Gashat to become Kamen Rider Lazer Turbo. Upon learning of his resurrection, Emu took the initiative to reprogram Kiriya back to normal. However, he revealed that he was acting under his own volition. After whispering a message to Emu's ears, the latter punches Kiriya and declares they are no longer friends.
The next day, Kuroto Dan had completed the Hyper Muteki Gashat to combat Cronus' Pause ability, but Cronus would swipe it from Emu after he failed to use it. Kiriya learns that Masumune intends to take advantage of Kamen Rider Chronicle's death toll to increase potential customers. After defeating Emu in battle, Cronus rewards Kiriya with the Hyper Muteki Gashat. However, he quickly reveals his ruse on Cronus and returns it back to Emu. Kiriya was present to witness Ex-Aid Muteki Gamer defeating Cronus for the first time.
After being welcomed back at CR, he revealed that he returned the Proto Gashats. Although he reunited with Kuroto Dan, Kiriya still hated the man who murdered him, declaring he will have revenge one day. Kiriya would continue to provide his services in preventing Hyper Muteki from being rendered unusable against Cronus. Once Cronus displayed his Restart ability, Kiriya assisted Emu and Kuroto to recreate the Hyper Muteki Gashat, this time with a "Save" function to save their progress. After some trials and tribulations, the Kamen Riders advanced to the final stage of Rider Chronicle, preparing to confront the last boss Gamedeus.
The Gamedeus Pandemic[]
With Gamedeus and his Bugster Virus pandemic spreading rapidly, this led to Kuroto and Kiriya infecting themselves with Gamedeus' virus and fighting each other until one of them could develop an immunity to the virus. While most of Genm's lives were burned through, Genm and Lazer Turbo finally reached the needed point and Kuroto completed the Doctor Mighty XX Gashat. After Kuroto completed the Doctor Mighty XX Gashat, Masamune barged in to absorbed the Bugster into his own body at the last minute. This resulted in the fusion known as Gamedeus Cronus, proclaimed to be Chronicle's true final boss. Because of his role in the vaccine's creation, Kiriya was given a job at CR and a doctor's coat.
Kiriya was later affected by Super Gamedeus' virus, regressing to a rampaging Bugster Virus until Poppy sacrificed her life with the Doctor Mighty XX Gashat. Kiriya participates with the remaining Kamen Riders the final stand against Cronus by reverting back to Bike Gamer Level 2 to defeat Cronus once and for all. However, in their final confrontation, Masamune kills himself with the Master Gashat, this removing the only way to rescue the data of the patients within the Proto Gashats. Afterwards, he watches Emu presenting his televised speech on behalf of the Ministry of Health and amused that his name was mentioned as a Game Illness victim.
After arriving at Genm Corp., Kiriya met with the new CEO, Tsukuru Koboshi, with whom he would begin work on creating vaccines to neutralize the Bugster viruses starting with the Salty Bugster.
True Ending[]
Along with Kuroto, Kiriya would investigate the occurrences of the new Bugster Virus outbreak along with the appearances of the Ninja-Players and Kamen Rider Fuma. After finding out from Koboshi that Genm Corp.'s servers had been hacked, Kiriya heads over to Machina Vision's company headquarters, though he and Johnny Makishima would later be infected with Hurricane Ninja's virus by Kagenari Nagumo. Upon being sent into Hurricane Ninja's game world, Kiriya meets up with Emu and tells him everything behind the game world's creation. Fuma later finds them, with Kiriya stepping aside as Emu is the only one who can transform and fight him. Kiriya is later brought back into the real world by Ex-Aid using the powers of Mighty Creator VRX.
Kiriya and Taiga later team up to fight Nagumo again, all while the latter's daughter Madoka is being operated on to cure her illness. After her operation was completed, Kiriya gives Nagumo a ride in his form so that he can see her.
A year later, Kiriya continues to work with Asuna on the Bugster vaccines for patients.
Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Final: Build & Ex-Aid with Legend Riders[]
One week after Kamen Rider Build stole Emu's powers, Nebula Bugsters start to appear due to the effects of Enigma, an inter-dimensional gateway connecting Ex-Aid's reality to the Build's world. This alerts the CR, who attempt to solve the issue without Ex-Aid, but they are also rendered powerless due to the effects of Enigma, controlled by Right Kaiser. Kuroto Dan eventually created the Kamen Rider Build Gashats in order to enable to Doctor Riders to continue fight while their Earth and Build's Earth were vast approaching, where it was stopped by the united forces between Ex-Aid & Build.
Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Trilogy: Another Ending[]
Two years after the Enigma crisis, Kiriya and Hiiro discuss with Saiko Yaotome about moving forward with the regenerative medicine to restore victims of Game Illness. He was one of the first to pick up on the fact that Hiiro was hiding his troubles with a revived Lovelica, and approaches him with a map sketch detailing Lovelica's last reported locations, which Hiiro quickly snatches off of him. Kiriya is later approached by Saiko and tells her he will be taking Hiiro's place in a later meeting, though he is slightly fazed by the female doctor's mannerisms.
After Emu is attacked by a dark doppelgänger of Parado, Kiriya rushed to his bedside in the hospital and learnt of the events that had transpired. Kiriya begins to investigate the Bugster cultivation game developed by Saiko and discovers that the female doctor is actually the daughter of the late Michihiko Zaizen, the person who had operated on Emu to extract Parado years prior. Furthermore, Saiko had also allied with Kuroto, who enacted his plan to become the ultimate god, though he would later turn against her to further his own agenda.
As Kuroto unleashes the final culmination of his plan in Zombie Chronicle, Kiriya fights off the horde of Zombie Gamers and saves a distraught Saiko from one. He reminds her not to give up on her aspirations as a doctor, telling her that she is the only one who can push forward the progress of regenerative medicine. Kiriya confronts Kuroto but is overwhelmed by the latter's newfound Level Billion abilities as God Maximum Gamer; even Masamune, who stepped into the battle as Cronus, was unable to stop Genm. In his last moments, Masamune hands over to Kiriya the Buggle Driver II, which has been imbued with Cronus' "Reset" ability. Despite Emu's protests, Kiriya decides to settle things with Kuroto once and for all. Kiriya was eventually able to overpower Kuroto with Lazer Chambara Level X's "Reset" ability to reduce Genm's God Maximum Gamer to nothingness. The battle eventually ends with both of them losing their lives, as Emu barely arrives in time to witness Kiriya's final moments.
In a surprising turn of events, however, Kiriya later wakes up in a hospital bed, where he learns that he has been fully regenerated into a restored human body once again thanks to God Maximum Mighty X's abilities. Kiriya gets emotional upon realizing that this was the ending that his rival had left for him, the player of his ultimate game. Heading back to the scene of their final battle, Kiriya leaves flowers for Kuroto and pays his respects, as he witnesses a vision of Kuroto, who declares that his games will never end.

Together with a group of Chou Super Heroes, an iteration of Kiriya emerged from the Game World and quickly transformed into Kamen Rider Lazer Chambara Bike Gamer Level 3 to battle Galaxian Aliens. After Kamen Rider True Brave appeared and defeated the last of the enemies, the Chou Super Heroes returned to the Game World.
Kamen Sentai Gorider[]
As part of Kuroto's plan to revive himself in a backup game, Kiriya was revived alongside other deceased past Riders, such as Kaito Kumon, Yoko Minato and Kaoru Kino to have their negative energies absorbed. With Emu's arrival to clear the game, Kuroto manipulated the event to his advantage by impersonating Kazuma Kenzaki and had been doing this more than a single occasion, evidenced by Emu's memory of being killed several times. When the other three Riders began to suspect Emu as the mastermind, Kiriya was the only one to maintain his trust due to their friendship back then.
When Emu managed to unmask "Kenzaki" as Kuroto (with the real Kenzaki as well), Kiriya teamed up with the remaining Riders as they utilized the Goriders cards and sacrificed their only chance of revival for both Emu and Kenzaki to escape to the real world.
Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Forever[]
When Ex-Aid manifested in the World of Ataru due to the memories of the fans of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, Lazer accompanied him in his Bike Gamer Level 2 form and was the motorcycle that Ex-Aid used during the final battle against Ultimate Another Kuuga.
Personality[]
Kiriya is an easy-going man whose lighthearted attitude hides a sharp intellect and cunning nature. As such, he is a manipulative individual and also a very convincing liar who will use dirty tactics to get what he wants, including deceit and sabotage. His deceitful personality actually developed from the trauma he experienced five years ago when his friend Jungo died from an accident when he freaked out over the possibility of dying from the Bugster infection. He also states to Emu and the others that he just tried to protect all of them from the harsh truth, showing that his lies are his attempts to do what he believes is right, as shown when he called Emu out for being blunt about Yoshio's condition, though it puts a rift between him and his comrades making him viewed as untrustworthy instead.
However, he still cares for his patients as shown when he found out that Nishiwaki's sister was kidnapped by Graphite and also Yoshio. But even then, he did not stop being opportunistic and self-serving. He had the habitual quirk to drape his dull red leather jacket over his shoulders without putting his arms through the sleeves, and to wear round sunglasses whenever he is observing something, but he'll put his jacket on properly and discard his sunglasses whenever he needs to be serious or fight.

Despite his tremendous mental strengths, Kiriya suffers from a great deal of pride that he gets from the knowledge he obtains. This, in turn, causes him to become blind to his own weaknesses and the strengths of the people he believes to have leverage on. When he is serious enough, he won't lie. However, if someone outsmarts him or the situation turns against him to give the impression that he had been lying, he'll resort back to lying. This often leads to him casually claiming that he did, in fact, lie before instead of trying to defend his innocence, showing that he doesn't really care what other people think of him.
After being revived, Kiriya's personality doesn't change. His ability of lying is also his greatest advantage, as shown when he feigns his allegiance with Masamune Dan, the latter of whom is unaware of Kiriya's deception after reviving him.

- Acquired Game Illness Immunity: As a result of the standard compatibility surgery for CR candidates, Kiriya Kujo is immune to the Game Illness and able to transform into a Kamen Rider to fight the Bugsters.
Take note that the power and the weakness which Kiriya acquire here is only when he had been revived as a Bugster. After the events of Another Ending, Kiriya had been turned back into human.
- Bugster Ability Restriction: One of the functions of Level 0 Gashats. Kiriya can seal certain abilities of Bugsters who are in his game area.
- Teleportation: Kiriya can teleport himself for simple travel or evade incoming assaults.
- Virus Neutralization: Thanks to Level 0's power being over nothingness, by touching any Gashacon equipment with a Bugster virus, Kiriya can neutralize the virus. This was demonstrated when he touched Cronus's Buggle Driver II containing Gamedeus's virus data.

- Level 0: As stated by its name, Level 0 is the weakest level among all the levels, making Kiriya extremely vulnerable to any type of attacks, even the orthodox attacks can deal great damage on him. This disadvantage can be covered by utilizing advanced-level Gashats.

Bike Gamer Level 1 (バイクゲーマーレベル1, Baiku Gēmā Reberu Wan) is Lazer's default super deformed form, activated by inserting the Bakusou Bike Gashat into the Gamer Driver. This form is used to battle a Bugster-infected human and is the only way to extract the monster from the host.
This form is armed with the Front Armed Unit (フロントアームドユニット, Furonto Āmudo Yunitto) in his right hand and the Rear Armed Unit (リアアームドユニット, Ria Āmudo Yunitto) in his left hand. Lazer can also rapidly spin to perform a special attack but would become unable to stop spinning without additional help.
This form's finisher is the Bakusou Critical Strike (爆走クリティカルストライク, Bakusou Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Lazer covers his right foot in violet energy before leaping into the air, and delivering a kick to the enemy.

Bike Gamer Level 2 (バイクゲーマーレベル2, Baiku Gēmā Reberu Tsū) is Kamen Rider Lazer's primary form, activated by inserting the Bakusou Bike Gashat and pulling the lever on the Gamer Driver. Unlike the other Riders, Lazer's Level 2 takes the form of a motorcycle.
Due to the nature of his Level 2 form, Lazer needs a rider to reach his full potential. However, he has some control on his own, being able to drive without a passenger aboard.
Bike Gamer Level 2 consists of the following parts:
- Eye Light Scope (アイライトスコープ, Ai Raito Sukōpu): Kamen Rider Lazer's "eyes". It can emit light for night battles and can also capture images comparable to a high- speed camera. It can also observe the microscopic Bugster Virus.
- Signal React Spikes (シグナリアクトスパイク, Shiguna Riakuto Supaiku): Kamen Rider Lazer's "mohawk". It can capture and identify motion and set tracking markers automatically. The radar on the internal monitor shows the positions of enemies, allies and energy items.
- Bike Gear Cowl (バイクギアカウル, Baiku Gia Kauru): Kamen Rider Lazer's front cowl. It is coated with an impact-resistant coating so it can withstand high-speed collisions.
- Bakusou Handle (バクソウハンドル, Bakusou Handoru): Kamen Rider Lazer's bike handles. It has the same function as a regular motorcycle and can lock the steering wheel's operation by Lazer to refuse control to the passenger.
- Lazer Seat (レーザーシート, Rēzā Shīto): Kamen Rider Lazer's seats. The seat's shape and hardness are automatically adjusted according to the occupant's body shape and weight to achieve maximum comfort.
- Active Ride Tire (アクティブライドタイヤ, Akutibu Raido Taiya): Kamen Rider Lazer's tires. The tread shape can change based on weather and road conditions to have comfortable on-road and off-road driving.
- Safe Stabilizer (セーフスタビライザー, Sēfu Sutabiraizā): Kamen Rider Lazer's stabilizers. They control the speed and balance of Lazer when moving without a passenger. When traveling beyond a certain speed, a passenger is required as the stabilizers cannot handle such speeds.
- LA2-ER (ELC) (LA2-ER（エルエーツーイーアール）, LA 2-ER (Eruētsūīāru)): Kamen Rider Lazer's engine. It converts the physical strength of the rider into kinetic energy. When traveling at a distance of 10 km at maximum speed, the rider consumes enough strength to run 100 m with full strength.

Chambara Bike Gamer Level 3 (チャンバラバイクゲーマーレベル3, Chanbara Baiku Gēmā Reberu Surī) is Kamen Rider Lazer's upgraded form. This form accessed by inserting Giri Giri Chambara Gashat into the Gamer Driver along with the Bakusou Bike Gashat and pulling the lever. Unlike the other riders, in this form, Chambara Gamer combines with Lazer, becoming his rider form.
Lazer's stats were raised significantly, although his speed is lowered a bit. He compensates for this by using his Gashacon Sparrow.
Since this Gashat gives Lazer a Rider form, he usually uses this form when he is fighting alone.
Chambara Bike Gamer Level 3 consists of the following parts:
- LZ Head-CH-BIK 3 (LZヘッド-CH-BIK3, LZ Heddo-CH-BIK3): Kamen Rider Lazer Chanbara Bike Gamer Level 3 Head.

- Bakusou Gear Suit (バクソウギアスーツ, Bakusou Gia Sūtsu): Kamen Rider Lazer's bodysuit. It increases the rider's physical capability by strengthening the body. The power focused adjustments allow Lazer to use the engine unit at the back to boost his capabilities in exchange for strength. Hunter Bike Gamer Level 5 (Dragon Claw) (ハンターバイクゲーマーレベル5 (ドラゴンクロー), Hantā Baiku Gēmā Reberu Faibu (Doragon Kurō)) is Lazer's upgrade form accessed by inserting the Drago Knight Hunter Z Gashat along with the Bakusou Bike Gashat into the Gamer Driver and pulling the lever.
This form is acquired when all four doctor Riders (Ex-Aid, Brave, Snipe, and Lazer) use the Virtual Gashat created from the original Drago Knight Hunter Z Gashat. In this form, Lazer's stats are the same with the other doctor Riders (due to the game's Co-op nature), As a result, they equally matched with each other. This is also a form that grants Lazer a rider-like appearance.
Hunter Bike Gamer Level 5 (Dragon Claw) adds the following parts:
- Shoulder Dragon Armor (ショルドドラゴアーマー, Shorudo Dorago Āma): The shoulder armor. They can absorb physical damage to protect the shoulders. Electromagnetic devices are built inside to increase the power of the Dragoknight-Blade and Dragoknight-Gun.

Bike Gamer Level 0 (バイクゲーマーレベル0, Baiku Gēmā Reberu Zero) is Lazer Turbo's physical fighter final form, activated by inserting Masamune's copy of the Bakusou Bike Gashat and pulling the lever on the Gamer Driver.
This form has what looks like a palette swap of Ex-Aid's body with Lazer's humanoid head from his Level 5 form and under his Level 3 form's gold mask.
The reason why this copy accesses Level 0 instead of Levels 1 and 2 may have to do with his Gashat having functions to Proto Mighty Action X Gashat. Much like Genm Level 0, Lazer Turbo also has the ability to nullify the Bugster virus.
After obtaining the Proto Giri Giri Chambara Gashat from Masamune, Lazer Turbo is also able to wield the Gashacon Sparrow in this form, even without transforming into Proto Chambara Bike Gamer beforehand.
Lazer Turbo Level 0 is overall stronger, can jump higher, and run faster than both Lazer Level 3 and Level 5 by small margins.
Empowered with the Hyper Muteki Gashat when inserted into the Gamer Driver's secondary slot, Lazer Turbo temporarily activates a Muteki Mode (ムテキモード, Muteki Mōdo) which grants the Rider using it 10 seconds of invincibility. Lazer Turbo using Muteki Mode is exclusive to Ganbarizing.
In Heisei Generations FINAL, Lazer Turbo transforms into this form by using the Kamen Rider Build (Game) Gashat in the Gamer Driver's second slot along with the Bakusou Bike Gashat. The Kamen Rider Build Gashat has the ability to neutralize the Enigma's power, which was preventing the Ex-Aid Riders from transforming.

Despite being called Level X, in this form Lazer completely eclipses previous Level X Riders, being even more powerful than Para-DX Level 99. Brave at Level 100 barely outperforms Lazer Level X in terms of punching and kicking power as well as jumping height, but Lazer is still considerably faster. Using this form, Lazer was able to defeat Genm in his God Maximum Gamer Level Billion form.

Proto Chambara Bike Gamer Level 0 (プロトロチャンバラバイクゲーマーレベル0, Puroto Chanbara Baiku Gēma Reberu Zero) is Lazer's upgraded form, accessed by inserting the Proto Giri Giri Chambara Gashat along with the Bakusou Bike Gashat into the Gamer Driver and pulling the lever. Proto Hunter Bike Gamer Level 0 (Dragon Claw) (プロトハンターバイクゲーマーレベル0 (ドラゴンクロー), Puroto Hantā Baiku Gēmā Reberu Zero (Doragon Kurō)) is Lazer's upgrade form accessed by inserting the Proto Drago Knight Hunter Z Gashat along with the Bakusou Bike Gashat into the Gamer Driver and pulling the lever.
This form is acquired when all four doctor Riders (Ex-Aid, Brave, Snipe, and Lazer) use the Virtual Gashat created from the original Proto Drago Knight Hunter Z Gashat. In this form, Lazer is equipped with both Shoulder Drago Armor, both Leg Drago Armor, Dragon Blade and Dragon Gun as arms subtitutes. In this form, Lazer's stats are the same with the other doctor Riders (due to the game's Co-op nature), As a result, they equally matched with each other. This is also a form that grants Lazer a rider-like appearance.
This form's finisher is the Drago Knight Critical Strike (ドラゴナイトクリティカルストライク, Dorago Naito Kuritikaru Sutoraiku): Lazer, along with the other doctor Riders deliver consecutive energy attacks to the enemy (In Lazer's case, he sends continuous blue and yellow energy streams from his Dragon Blade and Dragon Gun), effectively destroying the said enemy.

Bike Gamer Level 1 (Proto) (バイクゲーマーレベル1(プロト), Baiku Gēmā Reberu Wan (Puroto)) is Lazer's default super deformed form, activated by inserting the Proto Bakusou Bike Gashat into the Gamer Driver. This form is used to battle a Bugster-infected human and is the only way to extract the monster from the host.
This form is armed with the Front Armed Unit (フロントアームドユニット, Furonto Āmudo Yunitto) in his right hand and the Rear Armed Unit (リアアームドユニット, Ria Āmudo Yunitto) in his left hand. Lazer can also rapidly spin to perform a special attack, but would become unable to stop spinning without additional help.

Ki-Rider (キライダー, Ki Raidā, Yellow Rider) is the Yellow Ranger
and Kamen Rider of the hybrid Kamen Sentai Gorider.
Ki-Rider consists of the following parts:[17]
- Super Antenna Antennae (超触角アンテナ, Chō Shokkaku Antena): The antennae. They can intercept communications by capturing radio waves within a 5km radius. They can contact the other Goriders or allies.
- C Eye (C・アイ, C Ai): The compound eyes. In detects heat sources and body reactions, and utilizes this information to target enemies that move at high speed.
- O-Signal (O・シグナル, O Shigunaru): A small device embedded on the forehead. It notifies Aka-Rider of any enemies within a 3km radius.
- Crusher (クラッシャー, Kurasshā): The mouth-plate. It can actually open up and bite down on an enemy. The fangs are extremely sharp and can easily chew through sturdy steel. The ability to open and close the Crusher has not been seen in any current media.
- Protective Clothing (防護服, Bōgo-fuku): The entire bodysuit. It is made of special chemical fibers that can absorb shocks.
- Gorider Mantle (ゴライダーマント, Goraidā Manto): The collar-cape section. The Gorider Mantle's surface is explosion-proof, reducing damage taken from behind (most likely to shield Ki-Rider from explosions that occur during introductory scenes).
- Converter Lung (コンバーターラング, Konbātā Rangu): The red chest armor. It is both flexible and durable. It takes in surrounding heat and wind energy, converting them into energy to power Ki-Rider.
- Power Amplification Gloves (パワー増幅グローブ, Pawā Zōfuku Gurōbu): The gloves. They enhance the wearer's punches via electrical stimulation.
- Power Amplification Boots (パワー増幅ブーツ, Pawā Zōfuku Būtsu): The boots. They enhance the wearer's kicks via electrical stimulation.
- Typhoon (タイフーン, Taifūn): Ki-Rider's transformation belt. By spinning the windmill device within the center via wind energy, energy is produced, allowing transformation and deathblows.
- Energy Converter (エナージコンバーター, Enāji Konbātā): Two silver devices located on either side of the Typhoon. They store energy produced by Ki-Rider.
This form is exclusive to Kamen Sentai Gorider "Maze 3: Gorider Forever".

- Emu Hojo/Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: Kiriya is interested in Emu because of his gaming skill and personality. Of all the Gamer Riders, Kiriya finds Emu to be the best candidate for him to work with, despite Kiriya's constant lies when conversing with him which makes Emu and his other allies distrustful of him. In reality, Kiriya had put all of his faith into Emu, especially after learning that the latter was patient zero of the Bugster virus, believing that Emu had what it takes to end the Bugster threat once and for all. After clearing up misunderstandings between both of them, Kiriya proved to be the best friend Emu could ever have. And this could also be seen from Kiriya entrusting Emu with his Gamer Driver right before his death, as well as the important data he had left behind, which would later prove to be a valuable asset to the Riders with the creation of Maximum Mighty X. In Kamen Sentai Gorider, he is the only one aside from "Kenzaki" to trust Emu after the other three deceased Riders suspected him as a traitor. After Kiriya was brought back to life, he pretended to treat Emu as an enemy (though Emu didn't know this) and the intern tried to save Kiriya by using reprogramming, but Kiriya reveals that he has been working for Masamune Dan under his own volition, putting their trust into questioning. Their relationship is seemingly strained after Kiriya whispered to Emu about a secret in their last battle. This gets subverted however when it is revealed that Kiriya was secretly working to get the Proto Gashats back and his traitorous behavior is simply a ruse to keep Masamune convinced that he's joining his side.

- Hiiro Kagami/Kamen Rider Brave: Kiriya had a hard time getting close with Hiiro as Hiiro never believed in Kiriya due to his lies. This is shown when Hiiro states that Kiriya's friend, Jungo, is not a victim of Zero Day, but rather of a mere accident. After Kuroto reveals himself as Kamen Rider Genm, Hiiro then finally believes what Kiriya had been trying to warn the Riders what he saw before. Eventually, they continued to work together after Cronus' defeat.
- Taiga Hanaya/Kamen Rider Snipe/Kamen Rider Cronus (II): Kiriya viewed Taiga as a dangerous person to approach and hardly asked for his co-operation. Taiga is the only Gamer Driver user that Kiriya never got close with. After Kuroto reveals himself as Kamen Rider Genm, Taiga then finally believes what Kiriya had been trying to warn the Riders what he saw before.

- Kuroto Dan/Kamen Rider Genm: At first, Kiriya tried to make use of Kuroto to discover the truth behind the Bugster invasion, especially Zero Day. However, after learning the truth of Kuroto as Genm, he becomes Kiriya's number one nemesis. This hatred is further enhanced after Dan tricked everyone to believe that Genm is Parado. Despite being enemies, Dan claims he created the Gamer Driver and Rider Gashats to find out how the Bugsters could exist in the real world, not unlike Kiriya's own goal of searching for the truth behind the Bugsters. Unfortunately, Kiriya and the other three doctor Riders were too late to notice and stop Kuroto's true plan to gather more battle data to create the Dangerous Zombie Gashat. Not long after discovering Emu's secret, Kuroto ultimately kills Kiriya, and stole his Gashacon Sparrow and the Giri Giri Chambara Gashat. In Kamen Sentai Gorider, Kiriya was among the four deceased Riders whose despair was harvested by Kuroto to get himself revived. Ironically when his virtual world was damaged by Joker's power, Kuroto begged to the deceased Riders for their help in exchange for their revival but neither of them including Kiriya complied to his wishes, having accepted their original fates instead. When revived in the series, Kiriya still sees Kuroto as his enemy, but he admits that he will put that aside as Kamen Rider Chronicle is more important than settling things with him. Eventually, Kiriya got his revenge on Kuroto by using the latter as a guinea pig for the Gamedeus vaccine, the end result being Doctor Mighty XX, and subsequently turning Kuroto to the Ministry of Health.
- Masamune Dan/Kamen Rider Cronus (I): Kiriya first met Masamune when learning about the truth behind Emu's mysterious ability to transform without undergoing the compatibility surgery as well as the truth behind Zero Day, thus leading to his death shortly afterward at the hands of Masamune's son. During the events of Kamen Rider Chronicle, Masamune, after revealing himself as Kamen Rider Cronus, revives Kiriya as a Bugster, seemingly mind controlled. In reality, however, Kiriya revealed to Emu that he is working for Masamune of his own free will, which later revealed to trick Masamune. Masamune has now become Kiriya's archenemy after Kuroto.

Portrayal[]
Kiriya Kujo is portrayed by Hayato Onozuka (小野塚 勇人, Onozuka Hayato). As Kamen Rider Lazer, his suit actor is Jiro Uchikawa (内川 仁朗, Uchikawa Jirō) in Level 1. His Level 2 form is based on a Honda CRF250L which is the same model as Machine Ghostriker. His suit actor from Chambara Bike Gamer Level 3 onwards, as well as Lazer Turbo Bike Gamer Level 0, is Satoshi Fujita (藤田 慧, Fujita Satoshi)[18].

- The name Lazer is a play on the word "Racer" (レーサー, Rēsā), reflecting his racing game aesthetic.

Kiriya transforming into Lazer in the OPIn the show's first opening sequence, Kiriya is featured wearing an all-white uniform which he has never shown to have worn throughout the series.
Lazer is the first Kamen Rider to also be a Rider Machine.
As revealed in the Ex-Aid character book, Kiriya is 27 years old, making him the second oldest of the Gamer Riders.
Unlike other Ex-Aid Riders who pick up or gesture their Rider profile pics by hand while they transform, Kiriya kicks the profile image instead.
Lazer is the only Rider in series whose Rider Gauge is still visible in Chambara Bike Gamer Level 3.
- While in this form, Lazer has a second Rider Gauge on his shoulders, leftover from his Level 2 form. These do not function in Lazer's Level 3 and 5 forms, the function now transferred to the main Gauge on his chest.
Kamen Rider Lazer is the only Supporting Rider in the show to appear in all three Heisei Generations Series films.
In real life, Japan has steadily abolished the medical examiner system in medicolegal investigations. Instead, they are entrusted by the police.[19] Despite the above circumstances, there are quite a few medical examiners who specialize in these types of examinations, and there are a large number of people who also work as faculty members or practitioners in forensic departments at universities.
- This is among to the creative liberties of Ex-Aid regarding Kiriya's occupation as Game Illness cannot be dissected because the body disappears with the death of the patient and Kiriya's role is more forensic than clinical. There are many instances in which Kiriya is acting against the intentions of the Ministry of Health and Genm Corp.
