Keele Weather Chart (original) (raw)
As I said in my recent journal entry in my journal, I am currently physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted, and I have a lot of work on currently. I'm going to have to let the weather chart go, as it just isn't high on my list of prioritites at the moment. I'm sorry.
I really ought to update this a little more frequently, say 2 times a week...
Saturday 14th October
It didn't rain, it was really misty all day.
Sunday 15th October No rain, just misty.
Monday 16th OctoberMisty again, quite bright when it wasn't misty, no rain.
Tueaday 17th October
Misty, but then it rained.
Wednesday 18th OctoberIt rained in the afternoon.
Thursday 19th OctoberIt was deffinately raining on Thursday evevning.
Friday 20th OctoberIt deffinately rained yesterday
Saturday 21st October
So far, it's been a nice bright day, and no rain!
Right, I've been off ill and asleep for most of this week, but as far as I recall, the weather has been like this:
Monday 9th October
It rained.
Tuesday 10th October
It didn't rain, it was dry, and starry at night.
Wednesday 11th October
It rained.
It also thundered and lightninged.
Thursday 12th October
It rained
Friday 13th October
It didn't rain, it was really misty for most of the day. And it was really starry tonight.
NB. As far as I've noticed, we only get really starry nights on days that it didn't rain, at least if it hasn't rained since the morning, so if I'm out and I can't see loads of stars, then I reckon it rained, even if I didn't catch it myself. That's why I'm mentioning it. :-)
Tuesday 3rd October
It rained really heavily. All day.
Wednesday 4th October
A really dry, crisp, cool, day. In the evening I went for a walk, I needed a cold walk under a clear sky, looking at the stars, and that's exactly what I got. No rain all day.
Thursday 5th October
It rained today. And I went for another walk on this night. This time I needed a walk in consisitent rain, not to heavy but the kind that clears your head. Again, this was exactly what I got.
Friday 6th October.
IIRC, it rained in the morning.
Saturday 7th October
I wasn't on campus at all on Saturday, but apparently it drizzled for quite a while.
Sunday 8th October
Again, I wasn't on campus for much of the day, it was fine this afternoon, but it's raining now this evening.
Saturday 30th October
A really nice day. It rained really lightly for just a few minutes, and I probably wouldn't even have really noticed if I hadn't been looking out of the window for weather chart purposes. I was sitting in my room and I remember thinking to myself, 'Hmmph, I suppose He thinks this is funny!' (which He did.) Although later on it rained more heavily, so that was alright :-)
Sunday 1st October
Fine for most of the day, but it rained during the evening. Not particularly heavy or light, just normal bog-standard rain.
Monday 2nd OctoberFine for the beginning of the day, it rained at around 4pm, which was a good opportunity to invite someone round for a cuppa who was just on their way home... Both of these (the rain and my guest) were the reasons that I didn't go to football again today. I don't know if it'll rain tonight though. I'm going to an indoor barbeque, which is mainly indoors coz it's dark out, but it might be because of rain purposes if it does rain again today... we shall see!
Saturday
Fine. Really, fine. No clouds, even.
Sunday
Pretty heavy at times, perfectly dry at others. Mixed, really. Mainly dry
Monday
Heavy rain for the majority of the day; heavy meaning heavy enough to set off car alarms.
30 September 2006 @ 08:21
To summarise before I start, 2 days of rain, and 1 day of fine drizzle.
Saturday
We got rain, quite heavily really.
Sunday, Monday
Thankfully no rain, just lots of clouds; oh yay, overcast.
Tuesday
Still no rain; rather a surprise really. Clearer, though.
Wednesday & Thursday
Nothing, but becoming colder and more overcast again. Lots of cloud this week it seems.
Friday
Rain in the afternoon for a brief spell followed by a longer spell of extremely light and fine drizzle.

Wednesday 27th September
Fine for most of the day, was dry when I played football, but rained in the early evening.
Thursday 28th September
Again, fine all day, until I came in about 10.30pm.... chucking it down!
Friday 29th September
Raining this morning, and has been chucking it down, on and off all day.
26 September 2006 @ 18:37
Saturday 23rd September
A dry and fine day to move in to!
Sunday 24th September
I woke up to a thunderstorm. There was rain, it got heavier after a bit and there was thunder. It was chucking it down really intensly for a few minutes. After the storm had passed, it brightened up, it dried up, there weren't even many puddles, so when I looked at the weather later I wouldn't have guessed at the storm if I hadn't seen it.
Monday 25th September
A fine and dry day, it's been really warm these past few days. It was noticibly colder at night, but no rain!
Tuesday 26th September
Another fine and dry day, and we're playing rounders at the back of Keele Hall tonight, so it should be good for that. This lack of rain means it shouldn't be very slippy.
