EDIT: Oh my lord, you have GOT to be kidding me! I can't believe it, a DD!!
Thank you so much Moonbeam13 for featuring my work, and thank you lucytherescuedcat for featuring my work!!!
To explain the use of geometric shapes (as mentioned by a few people):
In my work, I like to create a sense of rhythm and flow throughout my compositions. It's just a personal preference of mine to have the eye flow throughout, and I often do this through the use of line. As of late, I've found a lot of interest in geometrics and prisms, and thought that I'd experiment with how I could use geometrics in a way that replicated a sense of flow and rhythm, despite them often being used to create static motion and pattern or detail.
I'm really stoked with how it turned out, but I had no idea it would have such a response!
something a litttttle different ~
I always try to challenge myself a little by trying new things or doing something I'm not too comfortable with, for example; animals and landscapes! Late last year I went through this craze and obsession with drawing and painting animals of all sorts, and it was great fun of a challenge for a new new subject matter, but also quite therapeutic! I'm still trying to blend them more to a recognizable style, so it turns out a litttttle something like this little sleeping fox up above.
