Hello all, I hope you've had a fun time writing! All fic drafts must be submitted to k//itkeyy@gmail.com by the end of June 8th in whatever time zone you are in, with the following form in the body of your e-mail:
This part is important, but please post your fic in your own journal/community and post the form above in the e-mail. This is to allow you to keep your fic wherever you'd like without having to re-post it elsewhere.
We will post the form in its individual posts, which will be cross-posts to your story. You may crosspost to other fic communities when you post, but we'd ask that you wait until after the 8th to do so. Thank you and good luck in the final stretch!
Hi everyone, in response to your pm's and such, the extension fairy has come along to grant your wish in the form of a two-week extension!
So now everything will be due on the 8th at midnight. More details on how to turn in your story to come. :) Good luck and as always, if you have any questions, feel free to pm me or e-mail me at kit///keyy@gmail.com. Thanks!
Hello everyone! I'm wearing my scary shoes right now but I assure you after this whole thing is over I'll take them off and we can party.
There are two weeks left until the deadline on May 25th, so time to get your fingers typing and pencils rolling so everyone can get through this process together. Don't worry, you still have time, but just be warned that soon the big scary countdown clock will arrive soon. Good luck and happy writing!
And remember:
don't panic!
If you have any questions or comments or need to ask for an extension, please feel free to send me a pm or e-mail me at kit///keyy[at]gmail.com. Thanks for your time and don't forget to check back with the community often.
Hi participants, its time for a progress report! Let me know how your drafts are coming along! Stuck with your plot? That's okay - post your problem here and maybe I (or someone) can lend a hand. Keep writing, we have about a month and a half left.
As we are approaching the mid-point of our challenge, I thought a little reminder/check-in post was in order. In two weeks, on March 15th, is our official draft check. All we ask is that you give us some indication of your intent to continue on. A word count would be awesome, too, of course, but I know some of us like to wait until the last minute to start.
Send me an email by March 15th at doojoon@gmail.com containing the following information:
Username
Do you intend to continue?
Wordcount, if applicable
Please put "Kissmebang Draft Check" in the subject line of your email.
With the official business out of the way, how is everyone? I'm really looking forward to the end of this challenge and reading all of the fics produced! If you have any questions, please use this entry as an opportunity to let me know. Also feel free to discuss plots and such with other participants. Need a beta? Ask for one here.
Note: Some of you have noticed that my earlier participant list is no longer correct. As I'm keeping the sign-ups open through the challenge, I've decided not to update that list, so just disregard it entirely.
Thanks!

EDIT: Signups will remain open throughout the course of the challenge so that people may join in at any time.
Sorry for the slight delay in this announcement. It's come to my attention that my limited amount of free time is going to make running/participating in this challenge a bit difficult. I've decided that this year I will only be involved as a mod so that I can be sure to at least be a semi-okay mod.
In light of that, I know that most of you wanted FFAs, but I have to say that I am not sure I will be able to hang around for them long enough to keep them active and engaging. If you all still really want them, comment here and tell me. Feel free to give any suggestions! I can certainly make monthly FFA posts for you all to use as long as you don't mind limited participation on my part! :)
Without further ado, here is the list of participating authors:
augmenti
yejunsaranghae
lilliandesyra
pikagyu
snowseop
nekkajitge
yeomin
taestar
linnadhiel_x
zenfu
Thank you all so much for signing up! Please use this entry as a place to ask any questions you might have or voice any concerns. Happy writing! \o/

Please comment below using the following form if you'd like to sign up! Comments are screened, but please note that we will reveal the participating authors a few days after sign-ups close.
If you don't know what a FFA (Free-for-All) is, it's a planned date/time for all the authors to get together and chat (on livejournal) about progress. The idea was first used during troisbang and turned out to be lots of fun, so we're willing if y'all are!

1. Stories must be a minimum of 8,000 words long, however, there is no maximum word count.
2. Stories must center around a member of U-Kiss, however fanfiction with members of bands outside of U-Kiss are perfectly acceptable. General fics (fics without pairings) are perfectly acceptable, as are threesomes (and moresomes).
3. All fanfiction submissions should be sent to kissmebang@gmail.com. Questions should be sent by pm to either mod,
augmenti or
trappedintaipei.
4. AUs, or any other sort of fic are allowed as long as the main characters are from U-Kiss.
5. Beta'd stories are preferred, if you'd like to beta or find a beta for this challenge, please see here.
6. Everyone should be starting new fic for this challenge. You may start as soon as you sign up, if you wish, but please note that the official starting date is after the sign up deadline.
note: This is not a contest, this is a challenge. The only way you may "win" is by writing a fic over 10,000 words. This way, everyone is a winner as long as they complete their fic by the deadline.
