These computer-assisted spatial and social interactions are becoming more real and responsive to our behavior enhancing the physical real world around them. We call this new interactive environment “Tangible Web”, a term describing the seamless integration of the digitally augmented physical environment and the physically immersive and persistent virtual environment to enhance social relationships[

In particular, we develop a novel algorithm for extracting 6 degrees-of-freedom motion information from a 3D input device by employing an epipolar geometry of stereo camera, color, motion, and structure information, free from requiring the aid of camera calibration

Further, in such augmented reality applications, content authoring is a tedious and expensive task that requires specialized skills. Consequently, scaling database contents is hard, which results in lack of data sets to be recognized and even reduces accuracy in recognizing objects. We

It shares the service oriented architecture with emerging Web service technology. It also has many advantages for future robot middleware such as automatic discovery of services and accommodation of dynamic distributed computing environment. However, current UPnP SDKs are not appropriate in

To build such a system, we require an integrated framework for capturing the experiences to multimedia data, storing and managing those data, and also presenting the data to the user in a user-friendly way. Due to the mobility of the user, we built a mobile framework that includes wearable devices that enable the user to capture experiences easily, and a Web-based management system that can be presented anytime and anywhere using Web interface. In this chapter, we provide solutions for some issues that emerge in this system (such as mobility and user friendliness), mostly on the database performance.

This framework consists of interface, player and scenario especially for interactive storytelling. These components and relationships among them are defined in detail in this paper. And, we address some issues of VR Theater: flexibility and scalability. The proposed framework can offer a way to investigate and develop VR Theater.
